- Purpose: The purpose of the article is analysis the current procedure for granting support for the implementation of projects under the Programme and analyses and identifies the factors that make it hard to meet the requirements to benefit from the Programme. Based on the considerations, an attempt was made to develop a procedure for managing the Programme. Design/methodology/approach: The objectives will be achievement by web/desk research, analyses documentations of GZM, and interviews with GZM employees. Findings: Based on the diagnosis and analysis of the current procedure of managing the MFS Programme, interviews, observations and analysis of reports on project execution, factors impacting the change in the value and scope of projects were identified. The identified factors which had a negative effect on the execution of the MFS Programme resulted in most cases from specific deadlines in the adopted Programme management procedure. Originality/value: With a view to reducing the factors influencing the changes in the Programme, the concept of Programme management procedure was suggested, which included eight steps.
