- Problem. Is it possible to apply the principles of martial arts in life, in professional practice, and in management? We will check it on the example of Professor Kazimierz Obodyński. Method. The author uses the method of participant observation (1987–2015), document analysis, and content literature analysis. Results. Judo practice took place, but essentially the path of “spiritual jujutsu and judo” was implemented, which was associated with management and activities in various scientific and social organizations. Conclusions. In the analyzed case of Professor Kazimierz Obodyński, applying the principles of martial ways in life, in professional practice, and in managing various institutions proved to be possible and effective.
