Opis:: The aim of this paper is to discuss the possible ways how financial market segments of a global character may develop in a long-term horizon. Part 1 deals with the actual process of globalization and its impact on financial markets. Part 2 gives a survey of differing views on global financial markets as a new phenomenon. Part 3 deals with selected aspects of measurement of globalization processes. The paper has been prepared as part of a project financed by the funds for specific university research. Opis:: The situation of the Stock Exchange in Warsaw affect both changes in the Polish sector of economy, political or financial, as well as changes in the financial markets in other countries. Analyzing stock market trading indices representing different countries, you can see the similarities in the behavior of trading indexes. The study showed that the trend in the global market shares (for which follow other global exchanges) determines the New York Stock Exchange. The purpose of this article is to analyze the impact of the world's largest financial markets in the Polish financial market. The analysis will be conducted on the basis of quotations selected indexes representing various countries.

Opis:: The New York Times as well as Financial Times suggest that incentives to show high profits, greed and instability of economic data were main reasons of global crisis starting in 2008. On the other hand, some economists indicate that contemporary economy relies too much on mathematical formulas. The article presents contemporary accounting in the light of modern economy and financial crisis. It is a call for improving accounting literature in order to broaden the awareness that accounting theory is based not only on math formulas, but also includes very important human factor. An analysis of Polish financial accounting literature serves the purpose.
