    L’auteur passe en revue les différentes opinions relatives à la composition littéraire du texte Mt1—2. Il considère qu’aucune de six péricopes évangéliques sur l’Enfance n’est une pure création littéraire. Chaque péricope particulière a sa propre composition littéraire et sa propre pensée théologique. L’on peut toutefois parler aussi de l’idée théologique qu’enferme le chapitre 1, composé d’une façon particulière, et d’une idée semblable que comporte le 2-e chapitre de l’évangile de Matthieu. Plusieurs sont ceux qui voient dans la Généalogie (1, 1-17) une introduction théologique à toute l’évangile et qui considérent les cinq péricopes suivantes (1,18—2,23) comme une sorte de motto théologique aux cinq livres del’évangile des faits et paroles de Jésus, Dieu et homme, Messie refusé par les siens, Rédempteur de tous les hommes.

    Obraz gwiazdy w Ewangelii św. Mateusza był wielokrotnie komentowany przez egzegetów. Dawniejsze wyjaśnienia oparte na astronomicznych zjawiskach tylko w pewnym stopniu mogą przyczynić się do zrozumienia opowiadania. Inne interpretacje wspominają o wierzeniach starożytnych na temat zjawień gwiazd przy narodzinach ważnych ludzi, ale i one mogą pełnić jedynie funkcję naukowej hipotezy. Nie rozstrzygając dyskusji na temat historycznego tła wydarzeń opisanych w opowiadaniu Mateusza, warto przyjrzeć się bliżej znaczeniu frazy en tē anatolē. Bogata panorama starotestamentowych tekstów i powiązania między czasownikiem anatellō (LXX) i jego hebrajskim odpowiednikiem zāraḥ ukazują szerszy kontekst i nowe możliwości jej rozumienia. Zaproponowane wyjaśnienie wspiera waga narracyjnej funkcji gwiazdy w opowiadaniu, w którym magowie prowadzeni jej światłem docierają do Nowonarodzonego Króla.
    The star image in the Gospel of Matthew has been repeatedly commented upon by many scholars. Some older interpretations, based on various known astronomical phenomena, have proved of limited use in terms of understanding the passage. There are some other explanations that depend upon ancient beliefs about stars appearing at the time an important person comes into the world. All these solutions, however, represent no more than scientific or historical hypothesis. Without entering into historical discussions about stars or the beliefs of ancient generations in the Middle East, the author of the paper proposes to look afresh at one enigmatic phrase in the Matthean story: en tē anatolē. A rich panorama of Old Testament quotations, which serve to connect the verb anatellō (LXX) with its Hebrew equivalent zāraḥ, reveal a wider context and thus some new possibilities for our understanding of the phrase. The author’s explanation is supported by an important narrative function of the star within the story, where the magi seeing its light are led to the newborn King.

    Artykuł stanowi próbę przedstawienia relacji Maryi ze słowem Bożym w kontekście dwóch wersetów z Łukaszowej Ewangelii Dzieciństwa, które bezpośrednio nawiązują do tego zagadnienia. Podjęte analizy dotyczą charakterystyki literackiej tekstu greckiego i polskiego przekładu Łk 2, 19. 51b, a także wyjaśnienia egzegetycznego w nawiązaniu do sekcji Łk 1–2 i całości dwudzieła Łukasza (Łk–Dz). W świetle przeprowadzonych badań można stwierdzić, że oba teksty są do siebie podobne, jednocześnie posiadają właściwe sobie cechy charakterystyczne. Postawa Maryi wobec słowa Bożego jest działaniem trwałym, które wyróżnia Ją na tle innych bohaterów narracji Łukaszowej.
    This article is an attempt at presenting Mary’s relationship to the Word of God within the context of two verses from Luke’s Infancy Narrative that directly refer to this topic. The analyses undertaken here concern the literary characteristics of the Greek text and the Polish translation of Luke 2 : 19, 51b, as well as an exegetical explanation in reference to the section Luke 1–2 and the entirety of Luke’s two-volume work (Luke–Acts). In light of this research, it can be said that both texts are similar, although they simultaneously have unique traits. Mary’s attitude towards the Word of God is a constant activity, which distinguishes her from other figures in Luke’s narrative.

    A detailed intertextual analysis of the links between Mt 2:13-15 and theLucan text of Acts 3 leads to the conclusion that the text of Mt 2:13-15 isan outcome of a strictly sequential, but on the other hand a highly creativereworking of the ideas, motifs, and key words which occur in Acts 3.Therefore, it can be argued that the quotation from LXX Hos 11:1, whichconcludes the text of Mt 2:13-15, was used and consciously modified byMatthew in order to illustrate intertextually the Lucan ideas which arecontained in the concluding part of Acts 3: the fulfilment in Jesus of thatwhich God foretold by the prophets (Acts 3:18,21), Jesus as the new Prophetlike Moses (Acts 3:22-24), and Jesus being in a particular relationship withGod (Acts 3:25-26).

    The main subject of the article is the thematic and morphological-syntactic analysis of the pericope Luke 2:25-35, which is part of the story about the presentation of Jesus in the temple (Lk 2:21-40). The text of Luke 2:25-25 is set in the context of two parallel childhood stories of Jesus and John (Luke 1-2). The study consists of two parts. The first is the presentation of the context of Luke 2:25-35 in relation to the description of Luke 2:21-24. The second stage is an analysis of Luke 2:25-35 in relation to the theology of Luke. The analysis of the text of Luke 2:25-35 shows the literary and theological relationship of Luke 1-2 with other texts of Luke-Acts.
