Globalization - Opis:
- From 2007 to 2011 a drop in FDI was observed all over the world. It effected from the financial crisis. In 2007 value of the FDI invested by member states outside the Union amounted to EUR 550,7 billion, in 2008 this value dropped to EUR 316,5 billion, and finally, in 2010 it reached EUR 145,6 billion. In 2011 a noticeable growth took place by 154%. The amount equal to EUR 370 billion as well as value of investments from previous years make the European Union a main net exporter of the capital in form of foreign direct investments in the world economy. The goal of this paper is presentation of foreign direct investments made by member states of the European Union outside its territory, from 2007 to 2011, and description of alterations in the field of intensity of the flows after the financial crisis.
