- A British-Polish plant study expedition to Greenland took place from 9th to 19th of August 2022. Its members were Paul Bartlett, the supervisor of the Stone Lane Gardens, the UK's national birch and alder collection, and Marcin Kowalczyk, the editor-in-chief of Publishing House Euterpe, owner of a private arboretum in Bolechowice located near Kraków. The main objective of the expedition was to observe birch trees in the Qinngua Valley, as well as in other locations. Changes in the morphological characteristics of birches depending on the location were observed, as well as the widespread occurrence of Betula glandulosa hybrids with Betula pubescens. This text is a collection of notes by a Polish member of the expedition.
