Government size - Opis:
- Establishing the optimal size of government using the Rahn curve is crucial to show the key problem of the functioning of the economy, which is finding a proper balance between the private and the public sector. The relationship between GDP growth and the size of government spending means that countries with too large public sector are no longer developing. The socio-economic consequences of such a situation are associated with a decrease in economic growth, real income of the population and the standard of living. The article presents a comparative analysis of current research results re- garding the estimation of the optimal size of government, as well as a reflection on the impact of the state’s economic structure on social development.
