This paper presents the concept of a perimeter protection system with acceleration sensors with the acoustic surface wave. The system consists of subsystems. Subsystems are connected with a monitoring centre. Every subsystem consists of an identical set of acceleration sensors with the acoustic surface wave, a measurement generator and a quadrature phase demodulator and a reference generator, the frequency of which is different in every subsystem. The acoustic surface wave acceleration sensors are of a different frequency of free vibrations. The spectrum of the output signal from a subsystem is situated around the frequency which equals the difference between the measuring generator frequency and the reference generator frequency. Therefore the spectrum of every vibrating sensor is located in a different known frequency range. The analysis of the spectrum of signals from subsystems performed in the monitoring center allows monitoring the vibration status of every sensor included in a system. A system can consist of many identical acoustic surface wave acceleration sensor sets. This allows constructing a perimetrical protection system with acoustic surface wave acceleration sensors of parameters of which are comparable to parameters of presently offered perimeter protection systems. Results of the experimental research of the operation of the acoustic surface wave acceleration sensor in a subsystem are presented.

Opis:
The paper presents results of determination of sound wave direction based on signals from first-order ambisonic microphone. The experiment consisted in recording the test signals with the SoundField microphone positioned in the axis of the turntable in the anechoic chamber. The spherical coordinates of the sound intensity vector were calculated with use of three different conceptual and numerical approaches and were compared to actual values resulting from the geometry of the system. Accuracy of the localization of the sound source depending on the frequencies and the method for determination of the spherical coordinates as well as on the time constant and the parameters of the signal recording was presented. The obtained results show the effectiveness of the calculation methods used for localization of the sound source.

Opis:
The problem of identification and localization of sound sources inside industrial rooms, including cases when the density of sound sources is considerable, can be solved by application of inverse methods. The experimental knowledge about the distribution of acoustic field in the neighborhood of the examined object, followed by the reversal of the model used for sound generation and propagation, leads to evaluation of the object's acoustic power. For the cases when determination of the rooms' acoustical properties is required the combination of the inverse method with the boundary elements method allows the calculation of acoustic impedance for the surface delimiting the examined room. The paper presents the prospects of the inverse method application in the mentioned vibroacoustic problems.

Acoustic field in enclosed rooms in the low frequency range can be described by the wave model, based on solution of the wave equation. Solution to the wave equation for acoustic field in the room can be obtained using numerical procedures, e.g. the boundary elements method. Determination of acoustic impedance of the room walls surface material, based on the knowledge of the distribution of acoustic pressure amplitudes in the enclosed space, requires application of the inverse boundary elements method and gathering a proper set of input data. The paper presents the possibilities of analysis of acoustic properties for industrial-type rooms, by using inverse methods in the low frequency range.
