    Opis:
    W artykule przedstawiono ideę wprowadzenia do praktyki samorządowej formuły PPP. Celem opracowania jest dokonanie oceny rozwoju PPP w Polsce w latach 2009- -2017. Postawiono w nim również pytanie, czy kierunki rozwoju rynku PPP są zgodne ze strategią odpowiedzialnego i zrównoważonego rozwoju. Dokonano analizy danych dotyczących rozwoju rynku PPP w Polsce oraz zaprezentowano europejskie tendencje występujące na tym rynku. Z przeprowadzonej analizy wynika, że rynek PPP w Polsce, w zakresie tendencji dotyczącej liczby realizowanych przedsięwzięć w formule PPP, wykazuje się identycznym układem krzywej wyznaczającej tendencje. Ponadto zaczynają dominować projekty środowiskowe i w zakresie ekologicznego transportu.
    The article presents the idea of introducing PPP formulas into the self-government practice. The aim of the article is to assess the development of PPP in Poland in the period 2009-2017. The article also poses the question whether the directions of PPP market development are consistent with the strategy of responsible and sustainable development? The article analyzes data on the development of the PPP market in Poland and presents European tendencies on this market. The analysis shows that the PPP market in Poland, in terms of the trend related to the number of projects implemented in the PPP formula, is shown by the identical layout of the curve defining the trends. In addition, environmental projects and ecological transport begin to dominate.

    This paper presents the characteristics of community care workers, their working conditions and the currently applicable regulations concerning the protection of employees and property in Poland. Services which are presented in the article by performing their assignments influence to some extent public safety. The political transformation that took place in the 1990s led to the privatization of a number of areas in the sphere of security and public order in Poland. The author presents the responsibilities and privileges of qualified security personnel professionals who are bodyguards in Poland and the method by which they acquire their professional qualifications.

    The article presents problems of protection of the private person and property in Poland, as well as a lack of sufficient degrees of public safety. The author discusses examples concerning private sector protection and shows the differences in private sector protection that gives protection to people and property in Poland citing the Vigor Act that came into force on 22 August 1997. The article looks closely at current regulations about the protection of people and property and the functioning of the private protection sector of people and property in Poland. The author presents a number of licensed private protection companies and the number of Polish employees in the private protection profession of licensed first and second degree bodyguards. In the article there is an introduction of data that point out the functioning of the protection of the private sector in Poland, and the proper manner and role played by the private sector security companies as seen overall. Polish citizens need to know the numerous benefits of the general safety system with guarantees for citizens to feel and understand that safety in the country is assured for the safety of all, including the maintenance of public sphere.

    Prior studies show that the degree of internal audit effectiveness tends to vary with country- and organisation-level dynamics in an internal audit environment. The antecedents of internal audit effectiveness appear not fully explored as yet. This study, based on institutional theory, is aimed at investigating the relationship of internal audit effectiveness with two organisational attributes, i.e. organisational category and organisational size. To this end, a postal survey and an online survey were conducted among internal auditors in Poland. The research results show that although internal audit effectiveness does not significantly differ between public sector and private sector organisations, larger organisations in private sector have established more effective internal audit departments than their counterparts in smaller organisations. However, in the public sector the size of organisations is not related to internal audit effectiveness.
