In 1955 Georges Bataille published two books on art : Manet located the origin of modernism in Manet’s work, while the other, Lascaux ou la naissance de l’art, located the birth of humanity in the cave paintings of Lascaux, the first known example of prehistoric cave painting. Discovered in 1940, the cave came to represent, for many intellectuals of the post-war years, the origin of humanity as well as the origin of art. This article problematizes the notion of transgression in its relation to aesthetics and aesthetic creation in Bataille’s writings on Lascaux, exploring his developments on alteration, transfiguration, uselesness and “the inform”. For Bataille, the paintings in the cave became the symbol of the origin of art as the origin of transgression, as well as the idea of the origin as transgression itself. In this paper I analyze several contexts in which the phenomenon of fear appears in Roland Barthes’ thinking In the first place, I will point out that Fear (written in capital letter in L’Image) placed “at the origin of everything”, becomes the fundamental fear, inseparable from the human condition. After all, for The Pleasure of the Text Barthes chose as its epigraph a quote by Thomas Hobbes ‘The only true passion in my life has been fear’, before introducing the idea of the proximity (identity?) of bliss and fear. Secondly, I will show that when Barthes writes about fear, he often refers to Donald Woods Winnicott’s article The Fear of Breakdown. In conclusion, I will point to an ambivalent status of fear in Barthes’s analysis: its recognition and acceptance are accompanied by desire for itsdisappearance. In 1695 Charles Perrault offered to Mademoiselle, a Grand-niece of Louis XIV, a book calligraphed by a copyist. It contained five “Tales of Mother Goose” and one of them carried the title “Bluebeard”. Originally, Bluebeard was a character from oral tradition stories describing him attacking his successive wives and children. He is also associated with the awful history of Gilles de Rais, sodomite and assassin. Gilles de Rais (or Retz) was a great Lord belonging to one of the most influential French families at the beginning of the 15th century. As a former companion in arms of Joan of Arc, he “supposedly lost his mind at the same time, as his friend was losing life”. The bloody nature of his crimes is obvious, as much as in the story of Perrault, where we encounter dead women with slit throats, attached to the wall, whose bodies “shined with curdled blood”. In literary tradition, the character still arouses interest of writers and undergoes many transformations. Thus, it is interesting to provide a brief overview of this Knight in retreat, alchemist and practitioner of occult arts, “who has committed countless crimes in his castles of Machecoul and Tiffauges, […]” and who was arrested and hanged in 1440. The article show what turned out decisive in Miłosz’s childhood and early youth times that made him later on decide to become a writer. The author examines circumstances under which Miłosz’s linguistic sensitivity in the “pre-writing” period, looks at his first individual reading, and writing samples subsequently. The correspondence between a beginner writer with Jarosław Iwaszkiewicz proves a hypothesis that Miłosz’s writing desire is secondary from the beginning in the light of his reality desire. A written word is aimed at capturing it and maintaining it most directly and as it is possible, namely referring directly to the world (not the written word). The aim of writing, on the other hand, derives from curiosity of the thing, the same that accompanied Miłosz before he had learned how to read and write.
L’article montre ce qui dans l’enfance et la première jeunesse de Miłosz s’est avéré décisif pour sa décision postérieure de devenir écrivain. L’auteur examine des circonstances dans lesquelles la sensibilité linguistique du petit Miłosz s’est formée à l’époque « d’avant écriture », elle observe ses premières lectures autonomes et des essais d’écriture. La correspondence du jeune poète avec Jarosław Iwaszkiewicz confirme la thèse que le désir d’écriture de Miłosz est, dès le début, secondaire par rapport à son désir de réalité – la parole écrite sert à la saisir et fixer, le plus directement possible, c’est-à-dire en relation avec le monde (et non avec la parole écrite). L’objectif de l’écriture résulte de la curiosité des choses – la même qui accompagnait Miłosz avant qu’il n’apprenne à lire et à écrire.

Opis:
Was the Commynes’s syntactic cohesion (a man “not literary”, father of the genre of memoirs and diplomat of the fifteenth century which syntax has been often described as paratactic or uncohesive) influenced, according to the received idea, by his habit of the diplomatic despatch and was she perceived as uncohesive by his contemporaries? To answer his questions, respectively, we compare the lack of cohesion of the Memoirs with those of his autograph letters and then we search the headlines of the publisher Sauvage (1552) who propose a version pointed as more cohesive than that of the manuscript which serve of base to his edition. The results will show that the letters seem more cohesive than the Memoirs and that its Mémoirs’ s syntax is not underlined as embarrassing by its editor.
