    In reflection summary it can be stated that social policy is both a possibility and a barrier in the development of a new corporate culture-civilization, referred to as globalization. Main forces shaping the new global reality, and the face of social policy are: technical and scientific progress, international laws and education focused on raising awareness of global change. Quick pace of civilization reveals an inability to adapt to a wide range of society the realities of the world of IT and information, and consequently the phenomenon of exclusion and widening of social pathologies. The image shaping social policy sets out the special role of participatory unit. The implementation of the project of European integration reveals a large gap between the assumptions and practice of social life. Standards of social policy remain in the realm of vision, a declaration of hope, the boundaries between the real world and virtual information and disinformation and manipulation. An important role in this regard play the media, which in its action shall submit to the effectiveness of the delivering authentic information about contemporary social realities and social policy pursued in its various structural dimensions.

    The relationship between the two countries has been a complex and diverse subject of investigation and contemplation. The interconnection between the two countries can be described by the following central notions, such as economic cooperation, rivalry in terms of status acquisition of global hegemonic power, particularly in the Pacific region and beyond controversy mutual suspicion over each other’s intentions. Therefore, it is clearly justified that each state has elaborated and adopted a specific manner of conduct and attitude regarding each other as a potential adversary but has meanwhile maintained an extremely strong economic partnership. It is fair to state, that the relationship between both countries has been described by multiple world leaders and academics as the world’s most significant bilateral relationship of the 21st century. Due to the fact that Chinese economy has started to develop increasingly fast and PRC has strengthened its positions on the world’s arena, the United States started to perceive the Middle Kingdom as a direct threat to the established world order in its drive for regional hegemony in East Asia now as well as future aspirant for global supremacy. Beijing, by contrast rejects these notions, and continues its assertive policies and its quest for allies.

    Opis:
    The drafting process of the EU Global Strategy published in June 2016 has differed distinctively from the formulation of the European Security Strategy in 2003 mainly because of its consultative character. The coordination of the process was ensured by the High Representative who brokered between interests of individual Member States. Looking through the lens of deliberative intergovernmentalism, the paper examines patterns and channels of the cooperation between Poland and the EEAS throughout the strategy–making process. It attempts to shed light on the officially repeated claims on the Member States’ ownership of the document and their active participation in the consultations. The article argues that only with national diplomacies as strategy–makers, the document would have a chance to enhance the EU’s ’will to project power’ in its neighbourhood and beyond. However, the salience of the new strategy among the high political level in the Member States reveals to be crucial for a sustainable contribution to the deliberative policy formulation.

    Together with the acceleration of globalization processes, power in international relations has moved from the political and military space to the economic one. Today, true power means ability and capacity to integrate with the global economy. Therefore, economic diplomacy, which is not a new phenomenon, became one of the most important elements of foreign policy of all countries. The aim of the article is to present the importance of economic diplomacy in foreign policy in the era of globalization with a particular emphasis on the economic activity of China.
    Wraz z przyspieszeniem procesów globalizacyjnych znaczenie i potęga państwa w stosunkach międzynarodowych związana jest nie tylko z przestrzenią polityczną i wojskową, ale przede wszystkim z gospodarczą. Dziś prawdziwa siła i znaczenie państwa związane są ze zdolnościami do integracji z gospodarką światową. Dlatego dyplomacja ekonomiczna, która nie jest zjawiskiem nowym, stała się jednym z najważniejszych elementów polityki zagranicznej wielu państw. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie znaczenia dyplomacji ekonomicznej w polityce zagranicznej państwa w dobie globalizacji, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem znaczenia dyplomacji gospodarczej Chin.

    Celem artykułu jest próba interpretacji nowego pluralistycznego typu cywilizacji oraz właściwości współczesnego społeczeństwa wielokulturowego w kontekście przestrzeni edukacyjnej. Na gruncie tego zaproponowano zastąpienie pojęcia edukacji wielokulturowej terminem edukacji polietnicznej, która skierowana jest na harmonizację wzajemnego stosunku między etnicznymi lub narodowymi społeczeństwami, a w ich granicach – między różnymi grupami społeczno-kulturowymi, mającymi różną identyczność kulturową (polityczną, regionalną, płciową, religijną, wiekową, profesjonalną i in.). Zaproponowano i uzasadniono nową architektonikę edukacji wielokulturowej, w centrum której znajduje się życiowy paradygmat jednostki. W związku z tym udowadnia się pięć najważniejszych strategii metodologicznych edukacji wielokulturowej, które są jej punktem orientacyjnym oraz źródłem życiowym.W artykule zostały także zarysowane problemy implementacji projektu edukacji wielokulturowej na Ukrainie, które utrudniają harmonizację życia społecznego oraz procesy dialogu międzykulturowego i porozumiewania się.
    The article presents an attempt to interpret a new pluralistic type of civilization and the features of modern multicultural society in the context of educational space. On this basis, the substitution has been suggested of the concept of multicultural education with the term poli-ethnic education, which aims at harmonizing the relations between ethnic or national communities. Within thier limits, this refers also to different socio-cultural groups, with different cultural (political, regional, sexual, religious, age-related, professional, etc.) identities. A new architectonics of multicultural education is suggested and grounded, with a life-giving personality paradigm in the centre. In this regard, five major methodological principles of multicultural education, which serve as its guidelines and major sources, are justified.The issues of the implementation of the multicultural education project in Ukraine which inhibit the harmonization of public life and the process of intercultural dialogue and understanding are outlined.
