This paper shows how a participatory study on inclusive education was designed and developed in a town in the northwest of Spain. The methodology included the development of collaborative inquiries at intra-school, interschool and local levels. It was designed by following the principles of participative and community-based research. This study demonstrates diverse ways in which different educational levels face inclusion; the value of collaboration between agents and institutions for innovative thinking and practice; and the need to develop further and wider research connecting participatory research and community engagement movements to systematic research into inclusive education.

Aby zapewnić większą gwarancję zasady powszechności wyborów, w wielu państwach wprowadza się dodatkowo inne niż głosowanie w lokalu wyborczym formy oddawania głosu w wyborach. Głosowanie korespondencyjne jest jedną z alternatywnych metod głosowania, która wydaje się najbardziej popularną dodatkową względem glosowania tradycyjnego metodą udziału w elekcjach. Jeśli ta forma jest jedynym sposobem udziału w wyborach pojawiają się zastrzeżenia co do małego stopnia gwarancji zasady powszechności. Celem niniejszego artykuły jest analiza dość skromnych doświadczeń Polski z głosowaniem korespondencyjnym ze szczególnym uwzględnień organizacji wy- borów w czasie pandemii Covid-19.
In order to guarantee a higher level of implementation of the principle of universality of elections, many countries introduce additional (other than voting at a polling station) forms of voting in elections. Postal voting is one of the most popular alternative voting methods – complementary to traditional voting. If this form is the only way to participate in elections – there appear doubts as to the low degree of guarantee of the principle of universality. The aim of this article is to analyze Poland’s rather limited experiences with postal voting, with particular emphasis on the organization of elections during the Covid-19 pandemic.

В статье исследованы Всесоюзные переписи населения 1959 г., 1970 г., 1979 г. как основной источник для комплексного изучения динамики численности и территориального размещения украинцев в разных регионах УССР в течение 1960-х – 1970-х гг.; охарактеризовано национальную политику советской власти, которая руководствовалась приоритетом государственного общенационального единства всего «советского народа» и презирала ценность этнической нации. Выяснено, что Украина была одним из центров аккумулирования эмиграционных потоков в Советском Союзе, из-за чего многонациональное общество УССР, основу которого составляли украинцы, постепенно превращалось в двунациональное, где украинское большинство сосуществовало рядом с непрерывно растущим русским меньшинством. Такие переселения проводились прежде всего по политическим соображениям и были направлены на то, чтобы коренной народ терял свои национальные особенности – язык, культуру и тому подобное.
The article analyses the All-Union censuses in 1959, 1970 and 1979 as a primary source for a comprehensive studying the population dynamics and the settlement of Ukrainians in different regions of the Ukrainian SSR during the 60’s–70’s of the XXth century. The article also describes the national policy of Soviet authorities which guided by the national priority of state and nationwide community of «the Soviet people» and ignored the value of an ethnic nation. The article brings the idea that Ukraine was one of the centers of accumulation of immigration flows in the Soviet Union, and because of this fact the multicultural Ukrainian SSR society, which constituted basically of the Ukrainians, gradually turned into bi-national, where Ukrainian majority coexisted along with continuously growing Russian minority. Such resettlements were carried out primarily for political reasons and were aimed at the loss by native people their national characteristics – language, culture and the like.

The present paper aims at presenting the practical applications of the action-oriented approach to teaching Italian grammar featured in Va bene!, a new handbook series intended for Polish learners between the ages of 13 and 16. According to the CEFR, such an approach treats language learners as “social agents” who accomplish tasks (which are not exclusively language-related) in a given set of circumstances and within a particular field of action. This definition mainly places the teaching/learning process into the social context: learners use the second language in order to achieve given communicative goals. According to pedagogical research findings, two essential factors influence the effectiveness of the learning process: an interactive environment and personal engagement, which allow learners to better elaborate on language data. The teaching tasks proposed in the series Va bene! attempt both to comply with the action-oriented approach and to fulfil young learners’ needs.
Il presente intervento si propone di presentare le modalità dell’applicazione dell’approccio orientato all’azione nell’insegnamento della grammatica sull’esempio della nuova serie dei manuali Va bene! ideati appositamente per apprendenti polacchi di età tra i 13 e i 16 anni. Secondo il QCER le persone che apprendono una lingua sono ‘attori sociali‘ che devono eseguire certi compiti (di tipo non solo linguistico) in date circostanze e all’interno di uno specifico campo d’azione. Dunque, il documento colloca l’insegnamento/l’apprendimento di lingue nell’ambito sociale: gli apprendenti utilizzano la lingua per raggiungere determinati obiettivi comunicativi. Inoltre, secondo le ultime ricerche di stampo pedagogico, due fattori influiscono sull’efficacia dell’apprendimento: la necessità di interagire e il coinvolgimento emotivo dell’apprendente che permette una profonda elaborazione dei dati. Le attività didattiche proposte nel manuale mirano da una parte all’osservazione dei presupposti teorici dell’approccio azionistico, dall’altra alla soddisfazione dei bisogni dei giovani apprendenti.

Some of the first reviews of and critical writings on Grazia Deledda’s works can help us realise how long prejudices about Deledda and her writing have persisted. The prejudiced dismissal of her ‘bad’ Italian generated the cliché notion that her works notably improved in translation. This was perhaps one reason why Deledda seems to have longer enjoyed greater critical acclaim and more popularity with readers abroad than in Italy. Only recently have some young Italian (and non-Sardinian) scholars begun to study Deledda, while in Sardinia there has been new, robust research on her, illuminating all her precocious modernity. This modern approach was little understood in the 20th century and above all was denounced by the gossipy, envious, and misogynistic literary world, which Deledda herself depicted in some of her novels and short stories. While Pirandello’s novel Suo marito tends to be cited as possibly responsible for spreading negative judgments about Deledda, those who have not read her Nostalgie (1905) will not grasp how much this book may have suggested or reinforced Pirandello’s own ironic and negative representation of that same mediocre and limited literary world in his novel. More generally, to appreciate Deledda, one must read all her works, rather than only those set in Sardinia.
La lettura di alcune delle prime recensioni e scritti critici sulle opere di Grazia Deledda (ad esempio quelli di Dino Mantovani) permette di capire quanto vengano da lontano vari pregiudizi circolati a lungo su di lei e sulla sua scrittura. In particolare quelli sul suo “cattivo” italiano (una lingua “spampanata”, diceva Emilio Cecchi) hanno generato il luogo comune che vedeva un notevole miglioramento nelle sue opere quando tradotte in altre lingue. Ciò è forse alla base della maggiore fortuna (in particolare di critica) di cui Deledda sembra aver goduto a lungo più all’estero che in Italia. Solo di recente alcuni giovani studiosi italiani (e non sardi) si sono avvicinati agli studi deleddiani, mentre in Sardegna (in un’isola nel passato non esente da uno sguardo molto critico verso G. Deledda) ormai da anni si è cominciato a lavorare seriamente sulla scrittrice, scoprendone tutta la precoce modernità. Una modernità a suo tempo mal compresa e soprattutto considerata inopportuna da un mondo letterario pettegolo e invidioso, oltre che misogino, come quello rappresentato dalla stessa Deledda in alcuni dei suoi romanzi e novelle. E chi si limita a citare il romanzo pirandelliano Suo marito come possibile responsabile del dilagare di giudizi negativi sulla scrittrice, se non ha letto Nostalgie di G. Deledda non si rende conto di quanto proprio Nostalgie (pubblicato nel 1905) possa avere in qualche modo suggerito o rafforzato in Pirandello l’idea di rappresentare ironicamente e negativamente quello stesso mondo letterario mediocre e limitato nel proprio romanzo. Più in generale, occorrerebbe leggere tutte le opere di questa scrittrice (e non solo quelle ambientate in Sardegna) per poterla apprezzare e comprendere meglio.

The article reveals the organization of the state aid to homeless and neglected children in the Ukrainian SSR of the 1920s. It is proved that the main task of the authorities of the USSR and the regulations adopted by them in the social sphere at the beginning of the studied period was the urgent assistance to children who spent most of their time in the street. The resolution “On measures to fight children’s neglect” was aimed primarily at ensuring the legal protection of children who had a family, but were deprived of the parental care. Regulations passed during the famine of 1921-1923 introduced the initiative to place such individuals into the families with the purpose of the individual patronage and teens’ employment. These activities met two main needs of homeless and neglected children - the material support and the adult supervision. The most common form of the assistance to the homeless and neglected was internment. Owing to the consolidation of the legal basis for the collective patronage of enterprises and firms over children’s institutions, the possibilities of state bodies to create new orphanages and maintain existing ones were expanded.
