    The article discusses the problem of the avant-garde in Croatian poetry during the second half of 20th century. It supports the thesis about the continuity of the avant-garde before and after World War II, and perceives the artistic and literary experiments of the neo and post-avant-garde as a part of a long avant-garde tradition. The analysis brings forward the different perceptions of avant-garde in the works of Radovan Ivšić and Josip Sever, and post-avant-garde poets of 1970s and 80s.

    The article presents the first extended discussion of the structure of Oneiron’s Black Cards – the neoavantgarde project connecting image and word. Using literary instruments, the author attempts to read this work on three basic levels: the perception of the series, the analysis of the space of every single card, and an attempt to decipher the autonomous “micro-works” falling into the card area.Multilayerism refers to the original premise of the creators. Thanks to their collective and aleatory work, Black Cards were meant to reflect the game of the subconscious. This reading of the Cards on three levels is aimed at identifying the sources of inspiration of the artists participating in the workand determining the role of words and literature in this multifaceted intention.

    The article deals with the problem of avant-garde character of the poetry by Miron Białoszewski in the context of alienation and dealienatively understood utopias. This is the way the language is understood here, being, on the one hand, an anonymous “language without an end”, and, on the other hand – an extremely privatized code, as the transgressive neo-avant-garde ideas inscribed in this kind of writing: experiencing life as art and the recognition of art as an event from life, and thus a myth of art as an experience parallely private and intimate and aesthetically-social. Consequently, the relationships with neoavant- garde in the Białoszewski’s poetry are treated as an expression of the modernist artistic crises, and, at the same time, as a tool helping to overcome them.

    Ry Nikonova is a Russian poet, belonging to the so-called “Second culture” of the 20th century, creating in the spirit of neo-avant-garde. Together with her husband, she published in the samizdat magazine “Transponans”, which was formed in the 1970–80s. Her poetic works, stylized as theatrical plays, present the idea of syncretism of art, which according to the artist is theatre. The short, economical poems evoke monumental visions of theatre, where gestures are important – less words, the conflict between actors and spectators, and all the seemingly non-scenic spaces associated with theatre in the reader’s consciousness.

    Artykuł stanowi próbę rekonstrukcji poetyki wczesnych tekstów Krystyny Miłobędzkiej. Głównym przedmiotem zamieszczonych w nim analiz jest tom Spis z natury, powstający w pierwszej połowie lat sześćdziesiątych XX wieku jako poetycki debiut, lecz wówczas nieopublikowany. Podejmując łączną lekturę dwóch składających się na niego cykli poetyckich – Anaglifów i Małych mitów – autor wskazuje na konieczność uzupełnienia nasuwającego się w lekturze tego pierwszego odczytania nieantropocentrycznego o implikowaną przez wielopoziomową strukturę tego drugiego interpretację postsekularną. Analizie poddano również cztery wiersze Miłobędzkiej – Małże, Widziane w ogniu, Patrzące chwytliwe oraz Klee – opublikowane w latach sześćdziesiątych w miesięczniku „Twórczość” i niewłączone w żaden jej tom. Pozwoliło to wskazać na możliwe związki wczesnej poezji autorki Wykazu treści z twórczością Francisa Ponge’a i Paula Klee.
    The paper is an attempt at reconstructing the poetics of early texts by Krystyna Miłobędzka, mostly the book of poems Spis z natury, written in 1960s – Miłobędzka’s poetic debut, unpublished at the time. By reading together the two poetic cycles comprising it – Anaglify and Małe mity – the author stresses the need to extend the non-anthropocentric reading to Anaglify with a postsecular interpretation implied by the multilevel structure of Małe mity. The paper also discusses four poems by Miłobędzka – Małże, Widziane w ogniu, Patrzące chwytliwe and Klee – published in 1960s in “Twórczość” magazine, not included in any book of poems. This allowed to identify possible relations between Miłobędzka’s early poetry and works by Francis Ponge and Paula Klee.

    W artykule podjęta zostaje problematyka transferów awangardowych w literaturze Europy Środkowej na przestrzeni XX i XXI wieku – w transnarodowej perspektywie; punktem odniesienia zaś jest program i zjawiska w poezji powiązane z surrealizmem. Pomimo bliskości geograficznej zarówno przed II wojną światową, jak i po niej tradycje awangardowe rozwijały się tam w relatywnym odseparowaniu. Transfery awangardowe były uwarunkowane najpierw przez dominujące przed wojną centra kultury (Francję i Związek Radziecki), później zaś przez rozmaite strategie komunistycznej polityki kulturalnej, w tym różnych ograniczeń cenzury. Obszar porównawczy stanowią przed i po-wojenna Czechosłowacja z jej mocnym, choć dysydenckim surrealizmem, Słowenia jako jeden z krajów Titowskiej Jugosławii z mocno surrealistyczną neoawangardą oraz Polska, w której, jak twierdzono, surrealizm w ścisłym znaczeniu nigdy nie zaistniał. Wybór taki został podyktowany szczególnym znaczeniem zdeterminowanej przez surrealizm poezji tych krajów w Polsce już po 1989 roku.
    This entry approaches the issue of avant-garde transfers in Central Europe’s literature during the twentieth and twenty-first centuries; the surrealist’s programme and phenomena being the matter of research. Despite the geographic proximity before and after WW II, avant-garde traditions developed in this area in a relative separation. The avant-garde transfers were conditioned firstly by the dominant cultural centres before the WW II. Later, the deciding impact was carried out by different political-cultural strategies of communism, including censorship issues. The comparative area consists of Czechoslovakia with the strong although dissident surrealist tradition; Slovenia as part of Tito’s Yugoslavia with its surrealist neo-avantgarde input; and Poland where legitimate surrealism never existed. This choice was made because of the considerable transfer of the surrealism-driven poetry of these countries in Poland after 1989.
