    Opis:
    According to Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, while considering all the differences involving the origin and forms of atheism, agnosticism and antitheism, their common denominator is lack of humbleness. Pride prevents people from encountering God who, in fact, might always be recognized. It is not the faith itself, but lack of faith that is contrary to nature. Therefore, the dialogue with atheism, although carried out of respect for men, demands the full truth to be revealed about the definitive and objective evil of godlessness, which inevitably leads to the culture of death. Contemporary negation of God makes use of philosophical, scientific, psychological and social reasoning, intensely deterministic and marked by moralism, in which only immanent natural and historical processes are taken into consideration. Consequently, men have nothing else to do than to disastrously put the world in order only at their own discretion, bound by sin, to achieve worldly benefits. The result is an irrepressible attack on the Church which calls to conversion, secularism with modern roots and spiritual emptiness (boredom) that fills people with a sense of meaninglessness and hopelessness.

    The sketch discusses the “relations and interdependencies of impossibilities” connecting the discursive poetry of Bieńkowski with the lyrical poetics of Leśmian. This formula, coined by the author of Sprawy wyobraźni, perfectly expresses these kind of references that exceed just a simple juxtaposition of similarities in subject matters or poetical figures. In terms of this plane, there seem to be are more differences between the two poems than conceivable similarities. However, within the plane of creative philosophy, the awareness of the language status in modern poetry, the abiding concept of reality and the attitude towards civilizational and social transformations, the similarities are particularly striking. The avant-garde poet does not shun from employing early modernist individualistic, idealistic, regressive and aesthetic (formalistic) tendencies so characteristic for Leśmian. If Przyboś, as Łapiński put it, “rehabilitated” Leśmian’s programme, Bieńkowski makes the Przyboś’ programme back again more like Leśmian-like, creating a programme not so much avant-garde in character but rather a one that relates to decadent aspirations of modernism in its narrowest sense. Not surprisingly then, he makes the lyrics of the author of Łąka his particular tertium comparationis of the phenomena in Polish postwar poetry, linguistic poetry in particular. This way, unusual power of modernity of Leśmian poetry is testified and well proven.

    Artykuł jest próbą zinterpretowania słynnego Wiersza (Trackless) autorstwa Andrzeja Sosnowskiego na podstawie tez filozofów języka (Frege, Searle, Russell). Wywiedzione z wiersza pojęcia śladu i tropu służą interpretacji zjawiska autotematyzmu (który – jak próbuje wskazać autorka – ma strukturę tropiczną). Wskazane problemy (trop, ślad, autotematyzm, filozofia języka) zostają omówione w świetle kategorii opisu, który ujmowany jest jako: 1) podstawowy sposób ujmowania „braku” i „straty”, pojęć istotnych dla projektu poetyckiego omawianego autora; 2) istotna składowa utworu autotematycznego, który – zgodnie z tezami Jonathana Cullera – dzieli się na warstwę opisywaną i opisującą; 3) fundamentalny sposób poznania, zwłaszcza w obliczu suponowanych przez filozofię języka niejasności wiązanych z kategorią nazwy.
    The paper attempts at interpreting the famous poem Wiersz (Trackless) by Andrzej Sosnowski based on some theses of language philosophers (Fregge, Searle, Russel). The notions of a trace and trope extracted from the poem serve as the basis for interpteting the phenomenon of mise en abyme (which, as is suggested, has a trope-like structure). Issues such as a trope, trace, mise en abyme, language philosophy, are problematized according to the category of description, which is understood as: 1. The basic way of framing “lack” and “loss”, key terms in Sosnowski’s poetry; 2. A key element of an autothematic poem which – according to Jonathan Culler – consists of the described and describing layers; 3. Fundamental way of cognition, especially in the face of ambiguities related to the category of a name supposed by language philosophy.

    Zarys treści: Rozważania zawarte w niniejszym artykule będą miały na celu ukazanie, w jaki sposób dokonania twórcze oraz rozwój myśli francuskiego filozofa Henri Lefebvre’a wpłynęły na kształtowanie się zjawiska miasta współczesnego w połączeniu z ideą przestrzeni  dedykowanej klasie kreatywnej. Z punktu widzenia filozofa znamienne w jego rozważaniach staje się zagadnienie industrializacji, która w jego przekonaniu przyczyniła się do zdegradowania obrazu miasta jako dzieła skończonego, będącego efektem pracy pokoleń. Działalność twórcza oraz zawodowa przedstawicieli klasy kreatywnej może przyczynić się do zmiany obrazu miasta współczesnego oraz zrozumienia, a także odtworzenia idei miasta głoszonej przez filozofa.
    Considerations included in this article shall be aimed to present how the creative activities and the development  of the ideas of the French philosopher, Henri Lefebvre, affected the shaping of a modern city as combined with the idea of space dedicated to the creative class. The philosopher gave much thought to the issue of industrialisation, which, in his  opinion, was a factor contributing to the degradation of the city image as a complete work of a number of generations. The creative and professional activity of the representatives of the creative class can bring about the change of the modern city image, can contribute to  the understanding of the idea of the city as propagated by Henri Lefebvre and to the recreation thereof.
