    Opis:
    The article critically engages in teaching intercultural education in Poland—a country that is to a great extent homogenous in ethnic or religious terms. It starts with a brief overview of the complicated nature of intercultural education, followed by a case study of how intercultural education is studied and researched in Poland in a top academic journal dedicated to intercultural education. Quantitative content analysis shows that intercultural education is generally approached and unrelated to the local Polish context. The only exception is the borderland type of intercultural education. This leads to a conclusion that teaching intercultural education without a context—i.e. real-life experiences—proves to be a challenge in monocultural schools.

    Autorka artykułu akcentuje potrzebę konfrontowania młodzieży z tematem Innych (etnicznych, narodowościowych, religijnych), co wiąże się ze stosunkowo nową sytuacją społeczną i polityczną, z nasilającymi się ruchami migracyjnymi. Polska szkoła powinna zobaczyć dla siebie istotne zadanie w kontekście światowego nomadyzmu i eskalującego kryzysu humanitarnego. Podczas etapu zbierania materiałów przeprowadzono wywiady skategoryzowane z nauczycielami, bibliotekarzami i uczniami dziesięciu poznańskich szkół. W artykule dokonano analizy i interpretacji zawartości podręczników do nauczania języka polskiego oraz zaproponowano realizację tematów powiązanych z wątkiem uchodźczym. Płynie z niego wniosek, że najważniejszym zadaniem, stojącym przed polską edukacją na wszystkich szczeblach, wydaje się wprowadzenie, nieobecnej dotąd w programie, edukacji na rzecz pokoju.
    The author of the article emphasizes the need to confront the youth with the theme of “the others” (in an ethnic, national and religious sense). It is associated with a relatively new social and political situation: the intensifying migratory movement. Polish schools should see for themselves the important issue in the context of the escalating humanitarian crisis and global nomadism. During the phase of collecting materials for the paper categorized interviews with teachers, librarians and students of ten schools in Poznań were conducted. The author of article analyzes and interprets the content of textbooks used in teaching the Polish language and literature and proposed projects of topics associated with the theme of refugees. The conclusion of the article is that the most important task for the Polish education, at all levels, appears to be the introduction of education for peace.

    The Author of the article reconstructs the origin and development of rankings of higher education institutions. In the first part the current ranking are listed and the importance of rankings for universities is stressed. Next, the beginning of American rankings in the XIXth century is presented as well ad turning points in methodologies of evaluation. The rankings created by Charles Babcock and James McKeena Cattell in the first decades of XXth century are analysed. The special attention is paid to changes in criteria used to assess the educational institutions in subsequent decades. In conlusive part the Author criticizes rankings for one-dimensional and reductionist approach to academic world.

    The new model of philosophical education that functions in Polish schools requires a change. In order to adapt teaching of philosophy to the needs and expectations of students it is necessary to introduce new educational method. Learning should refer to practical problems and solutions using the project method. The use of this method in education of cooperation brings extraordinary effects. Thanks to that students activate themselves socially, they become more aware of the philosophical problems, and independently develop their curiosity about the world.

This article will addresskey issues of the VUCA world concerning education such as digitization, educate to the unknown, the phenomenon of global teenagers and the development of robotics.

    Wprowadzenie do szkół edukacji seksualnej budzi wiele wątpliwości rodziców oraz nauczycieli. Współczesne standardy opierają się na założeniu, że rodzimy się jako istoty seksualne. I dlatego edukować należy już dzieci w przedszkolu. Jednak dokładna analiza zaleceń Światowej Organizacji Zdrowia budzi wiele wątpliwości. Liberalna edukacja seksualna zakłada bowiem oddzielenie współżycia oraz innych form ekspresji seksualnej od kwestii rodziny i małżeństwa. Może już najwyższy czas, aby skończyć z polityką seksualną wymierzoną przeciwko takim wartościom jak miłość, małżeństwo, wierność czy rodzina.
    Implementation of the sexual education into schools seems to be controversial for parents and teachers. Nowadays  it is said that we are born as sexual beings. Hence children should already  be  taught that  in kindergarten. However the particular principles of WHO arise  serious doubts. Liberal sexual education is based on separation between different kinds of sexual activities  and family or marriage issue.  It is  high time to finish any sexual politics which is against such values as love, marriage, faithfulness or family.

    W krytycznych badaniach nad szkolnictwem wyższym dużo miejsca w ostatnim czasie poświęcono dyskusji nad – bardziej retoryczną niż analityczną – figurą uniwersytetu jako fabryki. W założeniu miał być to sposób na skupienie niczym w soczewce wszystkich negatywnych zmian odczuwanych przez kadrę akademicką, a związanych ze współczesnymi transformacjami instytucji uniwersytetu. W rzeczywistości jednak przyczyniło się to przede wszystkim do hipostazowania mechanizmów właściwych dla prywatnych przedsiębiorstw na warunki pracy w uczelniach publicznych, uniemożliwiając wyjaśnienie zachodzących w nich procesów. W niniejszym artykule zaproponowano bardziej systemowe ujęcie stosunków zawiązywanych między kapitałem a pracą w krajobrazie szkolnictwa wyższego. W tym celu wprowadzono i skontekstualizowano figurę transnarodowego stowarzyszenia kapitałów. Nacisk został położony na analizę jednej z jego frakcji, mianowicie kapitału handlowego, rozumianego jako oligopolistyczne transnarodowe wydawnictwa naukowe. W artykule ukazano podstawowe warunki funkcjonowania tej frakcji, wiążąc je z rozwojem globalnych rankingów uniwersytetów, a także wykorzystano narzędzia oferowane przez postoperaizm, w celu ukazania relacji zawiązywanej przez kapitał handlowy z pracą akademicką jako ogólnej postaci relacji między kapitałem a pracą biopolityczną, w której kluczową funkcję pełni zdolność kapitału do ustanawiania ram pomiaru.
    Recently, within the critical higher education research much attention has been devoted to discussions over a (more rhetorical than analytical) figure of the university as a factory. It was assumed that this will offer a focused view on all the negative changes experienced by the academic faculty and connected with the contemporary transformations of the university. In reality, however, this has contributed primarily to hypostatize the mechanisms proper for private enterprises on working conditions in public universities, making it impossible to explain the processes occurring within them. This article proposes a more systemic approach uncover the relations between capital and labour within the landscape of global higher education. For this purpose the figure of transnational associations of capital was introduced and contextualized. The focus has been placed on the analysis of one of its specific factions, namely the commercial capital, understood as oligopolistic transnational academic publishers. The article shows the basic conditions of viability of operations of this faction, the most important being the development of global university rankings. In the last part the tools offered by postoperaist thinkers were used in order to show the relationship forged between the transnational commercial capital and academic labour as a general form of the relationship between capital and biopolitcal labour, where the key role is played by the ability of capital to establish a proper measurement framework.
