Opis:: Příspěvek je věnován analýze nejnovější české slovní zásoby, jejíž hybridnost vyplývá ze spojení slovotvorných prostředků českého a anglického jazykového půvo- du. Nejprve se zaměřuje na postavení hybridních útvarů v rámci přejímek a poskytuje terminologický přehled typů přejímek z angličtiny (anglicismy – pseudoanglicismy – kalky – hybridy). Na základě vzorku excerpce ze současných českých textů pak naznačuje možné klasifikace hybridů s anglickými slovotvornými prvky a ilustruje jejich různé typy.
The paper is devoted to the analysis of the latest Czech vocabulary the hybridity of which results from the combination of word-formation means of Czech and English origin. It first focuses on the position of hybrid formations among borrowings and provides a terminological overview of the types of borrowing from English (anglicisms – pseudoanglicisms – calques – hybrids). Then, drawing on a sample of excerpts from contemporary Czech texts, it suggests possible classifications of hybrids with English word-forming elements and illustrates their different types.

Opis:: Blogs are continuously gaining on popularity and social influence in Poland. In this paper we analyze the use of newest English loan words on corpus of texts from most influential Polish blogs. To present complex picture of the loan words, we describe them among others according to their current status as loan words and semantic fields they belong to. The results show some tendencies in the newest English loan words in Polish.

Opis:: The article is devoted to the names of music stars in Russian youth slang. The number of English borrowings, which appear in the Russian youth’s language, is growing rapidly. Russian youngsters are open for western music. The paper presents the processes of implementation of English names into Russian slang. The studied material shows how English words are transformed to adjust to Russian phonetics. The author of this paper proves that young people do not copy foreign words and phrases, but treat them as a basis for further modifications. They play with foreign words in order to adjust them to Russian phonetics and add humour which is a characteristic feature of youth slang.

Opis:: Przedmiotem artykułu jest 435 haseł leksykalnych – anglicyzmy i derywaty od anglicyzmów (użyte łącznie 3 124 razy). Materiał pochodzi z siedmiu obszernych numerów gazety „Mladá fronta Dnes” z listopada 2009 r. Jednostki leksykalne reprezentują między innymi następujące pola znaczeniowe: sport (128 haseł), muzyka i subkultury (40 haseł), transport i budownictwo (25 haseł), ekonomia i handel (24 hasła), środki masowego przekazu (24 hasła). Około 40% wszystkich haseł stanowią hapaxlegomena.
The object of the article are 435 lexical items – anglicisms and their derivatives (used a total of 3 124 times). The material is derived from seven extensive issues of Mladá fronta Dnes published in November 2009. The lexical units represent, among others, the following semantic fields: sport (128 units), music and subcultures (40 units), transport and construction (25 units), economy and business (24 units) and mass media (24 units). Single items account for about 40% of the total.

Opis:: Artykuł analizuje najnowsze zapożyczenia językowe pojawiające się w trakcie emisji współczesnych ukraińskich programów humorystycznych i rozrywkowych oraz popularnego serialu młodzieżowego. Dowiedziono, iż zapożyczenia językowe wykorzystywane są nie tylko w postaci wtrąceń obcojęzycznych, ale również ulegają zmianom w zakresie obszaru semantycznego, zyskując nowe zabarwienie stylistyczne.
The article deals with the new lexical borrowings analysis in the discourse of the modern Ukrainian comedy shows, entertainment programs and popular youth series. It has been proved that foreign borrowed lexemes are used not just in terms of foreign language lexical units; they experience the semantic structure changes and obtain the new stylistic expressions.
