    The aim of the work is to highlight the vitality and functional diversity of biblisms in contemporary ‘low’ literature imitating everyday language. This article presents the results of the use dozens of lexical units. Sometimes biblisms are modified- most often they are mentioning modifications (eg. Man cannot live by bed alone ← Man cannot live by bread alone). Less frequently we meet shortening modifications (eg. pluck hair ←pluck the hair out) and developing ones(have some remains of oil in the head ← have oil in the head). These modifications can often be justified contextually. Biblisms used in crime novels usually emphasize the seriousness of the situation and they can also introduce an element of humor.

    Opis:
    Detective fiction as parodic reformulation of genre’s defining patterns has a long history in the Latin American tradition: Borges, Bioy Casares, Soriano, Levrero, Ibargüengoitia, etc. Besides, the evolution of Latin American detective genre has always been characterized by a progressive focalization in the social aspects over the detective story line which has served as a mask to depict in a critical way the flaws of the region’s societies and governments. In nowadays Cuba it could be highlighted the crime narrative of parodic slant by Lorenzo Lunar Cardedo. Among the major features of Lunar Cardedo’s style there are the marginal atmospheres, the stylization of popular speech, the intertextuality, the humor, the parody, and the social criticism. This article focuses on the parodic, intertextual and satiric aspects of his work, particularly discernible in the novel Proyecto en negro (2013), in which the author emphasizes – in opposition to the official discourse – the perpetuation of corrupt, chauvinist, racist, and homophobic behaviors in contemporary Cuba, while relaxing the genre formula limits in order to follow a much more irreverent path within the new Latin American detective fiction.

    Przegląd dorobku powieściopisarskiego Mirjany Đurđević ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem wykorzystywanych przez nią matryc gatunkowych pozwolił na sformułowanie w pierwszej części artykułu tezy, że dehierarchizacja gatunków literackich prowadzi do demistyfikacji figury autora. W oparciu o te analizy w drugiej części pracy szczególną uwagę poświęcono elementom satyrycznym i dystopijnym, obecnym w powieści Odlazak u Jolki Palki (Odjazd w Jołki Pałki) i pokazanych na tle całego dorobku serbskiej pisarki, sposobom konstruowania powieściowej postaci „nowej kobiety” oraz – na poziomie ponadtekstowym – figury autorki. Przedmiotem analizy był także sposób prowadzenia fabuły z ironicznym happy endem, co – między innymi – sprzyja dehierarchizacji gatunków literackich, a także dekonstrukcja ciągle żywego w serbskiej kulturze mitu utworu komicznego jako dzieła literackiego o mniejszej wartości artystycznej.
    In the first part of the text, the review of Mirjana Đurđević’s novels, with particular emphasis on the genre matrices used by her, allowed to formulate the thesis that the dehierarchization of literary genres leads to the demystification of the author’s figure. In the second part of the work special attention was devoted to the satirical and dystopian elements present in the novel Odlazak u Jolki Palki (Going to Yolky Palky) on the background of the Serbian writer’s achievements, ways of constructing the novelistic “new woman” and – on the over-text level – the person of the author. In addition, it will be observed how the character of the “new woman” is formed in the novel, as well as the plot with the ironical happy end which, among other things, contributes to the dehierarchization of literary genres and the deconstruction of the myth about the comic work as a less valuable piece of art, a myth that is still very much alive in the Serbian culture.

    Autorka artykułu jako cel wyznacza sobie przebadanie kątów widzenia kamery i wielkości planu przełożonych na sposoby opisywania przestrzeni bądź osób w powieści kryminalnej Marca Vichiego jako jednym z najbardziej reprezentacyjnych gatunków dla zjawiska przenoszenia technik filmowych do literatury. Interesuje ją analogia między strategiami narracyjnymi (w szczególności narracją personalną) a poruszaniem się „oka kamery” w filmie. Autorka udowadnia, że pewne chwyty przynależne powieści kryminalnej (czy detektywistycznej), a związane z przechodzeniem od planu ogólnego przez zbliżenie do detalu itp. są efektem oddziaływania filmów.
    This article examines how camera angles are used to describe space or people in Marco Vichi’s crime novel Death in August. The focus is on the crime novel because this genre best exemplifies how cinematic techniques may be employed in literature. Specifically, the article examines the analogies between narrative strategies (especially the third-person subjective narration) and the movement of the camera eye. It is demonstrated that some narrative devices characteristic of the crime novel (or the detective novel), especially the ones connected with transitioning from the long shot to the close-up etc., have been influenced by film.

    W artykule zwrócono szczególną uwagę na detektywa jako postać kluczową dla opowieści o walce ze złem. Zachowania detektywa, jego decyzje i sposób myślenia pozwalają na zderzenie tej postaci z komiksowym superbohaterem. Przedstawiono podobieństwa między detektywem a superbohaterem, kładąc nacisk na symbolikę maski oraz stroju wkładanego dosłownie lub metaforycznie wtedy, gdy dochodzi do starcia z tymi, którzy stoją po stronie zła. Jednocześnie zwrócono uwagę na niejednoznaczność zwyczajności i słabości stanowiących część charakterystyki współczesnego detektywa, pozwala ona bowiem na rozpatrywanie bohatera kryminału w kontekście antybohatera, który – nieco paradoksalnie – jednocześnie wciela się w rolę superbohatera.
    In the article “The Contemporary Crime Novel as a Variation on the Superhero Theme. Preliminary Thoughts,” I draw attention to the detective as the key figure of stories narrating the fight against evil. The detective’s behavior, decisions, and mentality all make him a figure quite compatible with the comic book superhero. I attempt to lay out features common to the detective and superhero, placing emphasis on the symbolism of the mask and disguise donned either metaphorically or literally in the confrontation with evildoers. I also discuss the complex nature of ordinariness and weakness as defining features of the contemporary detective, for they allow us to view the crime novel hero as an antihero, a figure that simultaneously (and somewhat paradoxically) is embodied in the role of the superhero.
