On the other hand, the character of changes that have gained momentum in the first decade of the 21st century, and the description of their sources, become particularly difficult to describe and name. The present article is an attempt at an indication of the need of an evolution of perception on societal reality and the emerging new social issues. Contemporary paedagogy attempts to write about the necessity of awareness/ education related to the needs of establishment of local communities and the creation of bonds as a response to processes related to social life in times of globalisation. It is a fact that we are presently dealing with a change in the forms and character of local communities.

The subject of this paper is subjectivity and social participation of Łódź residents in the context of civil society. Thus, the aim of the paper is to answer the question about the level of subjectivity of Łódź residents. The other aim is to examine the influence of subjectivity on one of the dimensions of the activity, namely, involvement in a more or less formalised non-government organisations.
Przedmiotem rozważań niniejszego artykułu jest podmiotowość i partycypacja społeczna mieszkańców Łodzi w kontekście społeczeństwa obywatelskiego. Celem artykułu jest zatem próba odpowiedzi na pytanie o poziom podmiotowości łodzian oraz zbadanie wpływu podmiotowości na jeden z wymiarów aktywności, czyli zaangażowanie w mniej lub bardziej sformalizowane organizacje pozarządowe.

Political activity is a type of social activity displayed by citizens. Observations and research indicate that gender can be a factor which conditions its degree and forms. Apart from biological gender, which shapes the societal roles of women and men, additional factors that are supposedly responsible for their activities include elements of the system of beliefs (i.e. acknowledged political values, conviction that political activity has an importance, level of satisfaction with democracy as well as individualism and collectivism understood as an element of individual’s mentality). The impact of those factors on degree of conventional political activities among women and men is the subject of surveys which were conducted in 2004, 2010, and 2014 on a group of 1048 students from Polish universities. The received results show that differences in political activity between surveyed men and women as well as varying determinants in both groups are slowly fading away. The most important predictors of women’s political activity include: conviction of its significance in democracy and (dis)satisfaction with the way it functions.

The media have become man's natural environment. The younger generation matures in a highly developed society, and the media provide young people with the opportunity to meet fundamental needs, including those of people-to-people contacts. The main purpose of this study was to check whether there are relationships between the partner’s communication behaviours and online activity. The aspect of online activity was divided into: self-disclosure, support-seeking, making and keeping interpersonal contacts. To measure it, an authorial tool was used, called the Questionnaire of Activity in The Internet’s Social Space. In order to measure the partner’s communication behaviours, the Communication in Marriage Questionnaire (Kaźmierczak and Plopa) was used. It includes the following dimensions: support, commitment, depreciation. It was assumed that the partner’s depreciation will correlate positively, and both the partner’s support and commitment negatively with individual dimensions of online activity. The group of respondents consisted 85 women and 63 men, aged 19 to 71. The results showed that there is a positive correlation between partner’s depreciation and also a negative correlation between partner’s support and online supportseeking. No other hypotheses regarding the relationship between partner’s communication and online activity were confirmed. The correlation between the partner’s commitment and online self-disclosure turned out to be positive and therefore opposite to the assumption. Age was considered a variable that could have an impact on this unexpected result, as it negatively correlates with both the partner’s commitment and all dimensions of online activity.

This article explores the regulation of economic activity (licences, permits, registers of regulated activity) as laid down in the new Polish Act: Law on Entrepreneurs against the background of the previous Acts of 1988, 1999 and 2004. The author attempts to answer questions which are key from the systemic perspective: whether the new form of economic activity regulationcorresponds with the objectives and the scope of the law on entrepreneurs, and whether it will strengthen or weaken the level of legal protection of economic freedom of entrepreneurs conducting regulated business activity. While searching for answers to these questions, prior to offering an assessment of the new legal provisions, the author provides a review of the previously applicable laws on the regulation of business activity and compares them with the laws currently in force. This comparison leads to a conclusion that the burden of regulating economic activity has been shifted from a general act: Law on Entrepreneurs to special acts, devoted to particular types of regulated activity. Although the change of the place of the provisions in question in the legal system did not result in any significant change as regards their substance, the author asserts that it may affect their interpretation and, consequently, the legal position of entrepreneurs conducting business activity in the regulated markets.
Przedmiotem artykułu jest regulacja reglamentacji działalności gospodarczej (koncesji, zezwoleń, rejestrów działalności regulowanej) w nowej ustawie Prawo przedsiębiorców na tle wcześniejszych ustaw z 1988, 1999 i 2004 r. Autor stara się udzielić odpowiedzi na podstawowe, z perspektywy systemowej, pytania: czy nowy kształt regulacji reglamentacji działalności gospodarczej koresponduje z celami oraz zakresem ustawy Prawo przedsiębiorców oraz czy jego skutkiem będzie wzmocnienie, czy może osłabienie, poziomu prawnej ochrony wolności działalności gospodarczej przedsiębiorców prowadzących reglamentowaną działalność gospodarczą? Poszukując odpowiedzi na te pytania, przed dokonaniem oceny nowych przepisów, autor dokonuje przeglądu prawnej regulacji reglamentacji działalności gospodarczej we wcześniej obowiązujących ustawach oraz porównuje je z unormowaniem aktualnie obowiązującym. Porównanie to prowadzi do wniosku, że ustawodawca przesunął ciężar regulacji reglamentacji działalności gospodarczej z ustawy ogólnej, jaką jest Prawo przedsiębiorców, do ustaw szczególnych, poświęconych poszczególnym działalnościom reglamentowanym. Jakkolwiek nie spowodowało to istotnych zmian w treści samych przepisów, to jednak w ocenie autora zmiana ich umiejscowienia w systemie prawnym może mieć wpływ na ich wykładnię, a w konsekwencji na pozycję prawną przedsiębiorców prowadzących działalność gospodarczą na rynkach objętych reglamentacją.

Physical activity is defined as body movement produced by muscle action that increases energy expenditure. The lifestyle of hominids/humans included physical activity. The way of life associated with hunting, gathering, and agriculture. During the Hellenic Age (336-30 B.C.), Sports were considered “physical training for health”, and agonal (competitive) gymnastics were highly regarded. For Romans, some body movements served the purpose as preparation for war and the military. Our young people live in a social and physical environment that makes it easy to be sedentary. The benefits of physical activity for children, though seemingly obvious. Physical activity can reduce anxiety, feelings of stress. A reduction in sedentary behavior can be achieved with minimal financial or time requirements. Positive experiences with physical activity at a young age help lay the basis for being regularly active throughout early and later adulthood. Recommended physical activity guidelines differ according to age group. Performance of a wide variety of physical activities is important for refining already learned motor skills. Sport participation, appropriately directed, could be involved in the development of character, work discipline, teamwork, fair play, and other socially approved characteristics.

Women show greater and greater activity on the job market, they obtain better positions, salaries, etc. However, the statistics concerning their professional activity differ from those of men. We should take into consideration the fact that women are the ones who give birth to children and, in majority, take care of their upbringing, especially in the first years of child’s life. Policies of particular states are different in terms of the amount and availability of family benefits, and that can be reflected in women’s willingness to return to work.

Artykuł obejmuje kwestie statusu rolniczej działalności gospodarczej w ujęciu ,,Konstytucji Biznesu”. Omawia przesłanki decydujące o uzyskaniu statusu przedsiębiorcy w świetle ustawy Prawo przedsiębiorców (Pr.przeds.), zakres oraz kategorie wyłączeń stosowania przepisów regulujących działalność gospodarczą, w tym także charakter takich wyłączeń. Tło rozważań stanowią formułowane koncepcje działalności rolniczej. Podejmuje on próbę udzielenia odpowiedzi na pytanie czy w świetle aktów prawnych zawartych w ,,Konstytucji Biznesu” działalność rolnicza może być traktowana jako działalność gospodarcza, a osoba fizyczna prowadząca gospodarstwo rolne jako przedsiębiorca. Z taką kwalifikacją łączy się kwestia stosowania ,,Konstytucji Biznesu” w działalności rolniczej. Autor stwierdza, że nowa regulacja prawna w sposób kompleksowy reguluje zagadnienia w zakresie podejmowania i prowadzenia działalności gospodarczej oraz służy przedsiębiorcom poprzez wprowadzone instrumenty prawne wsparcia rozwoju działalności gospodarczej. Definicja przedsiębiorcy zawarta w Pr.przeds. ma walor bardziej ogólny, uniwersalny. Stwierdza on, że w pewnych przypadkach ustawodawca rozszerza pojęcie działalności wytwórczej w rolnictwie na sprzedaż w pewnym stopniu przetworzonych produktów roślinnych i zwierzęcych, które uprzednio sam wytworzył. Dostrzega klasyfikację podmiotów prowadzących działalność wytwórczą w rolnictwie z uwagi na jej rozmiar oraz przedmiotowy charakter wyłączeń w zakresie takiej działalności.
The paper addresses some issues related to the status of agricultural activity in the light of the ‘Business Constitution.’ It discusses the conditions that an individual needs to meet in order to become an entrepreneur in the context of the Entrepreneurs’ Law, and the scope, categories and nature of exemptions to the application of economic activity regulations. The concepts of agricultural activity provide a background for these considerations. Also, this paper makes an attempt to answer the question of whether, in the light of legal acts included in the ‘Business Constitution,’ an agricultural activity can be considered an economic activity and a farmer, who is a natural person, can be considered an entrepreneur. The above classification is related to the problem of applying the ‘Business Constitution’ to agricultural activities. The author concludes that the new legal regulation comprehensively governs matters related to the establishment and pursuit of an economic activity, and, through the legal instruments it implements, helps entrepreneurs to support the development of economic activity. The definition of entrepreneur provided for in the Entrepreneurs’ Law is of a more general and universal dimension. The author finds that in some cases, the legislator extended the definition of agricultural production activity with the sale of partially processed plant and animal products made by the farmer. The paper also addressed the classification of agricultural producers by production size and by the exemptions applicable to certain operators.
