Opis:: The author looks for constitutional elements of human self in order to discover the right relationship between a person and a community, between solitude and dialog. He analyzes different philosophical points of view which either prefer dialogical understanding of human self or the ones which stress human ability of suspension of the contact with the external reality in order to deepen self-understanding. All that leads the author to the analysis of different types of solitude and its value.

Opis:: In the paper author argues for the thesis that in confrontation of two kinds of rationality, that is natural cognition of the inherent mind and supernatural cognition in the light of the revealed truth, it is the latter that has the advantage. Then he analyses a prayer (taken as one of the results of the supernatural cognition) as a rational language act and points 5 conditions which seem to be necessary to make the prayer an instrument of shaping a rational attitude towards both God and world.

Opis:: The article searches for the sources of guilt. It evokes Nietzsche’s notion of guilt as a derivative of unpaid mercantile debts. In opposition to this is Bouber’s socio-divine origin of fault. J. Tischner and J. Hołówka are also cited; they ascribe to guilt objective status. There is an important distinction between guilt and reconciliation, as well as a description of the possible contamination by guilt. The article also deals with Jasper's call to accept one’s own fault, otherwise there is a risk of trivialisation of life. The source of fault lies in relations between people and in the "point of holiness" mentioned by M. Blondel.
