    Opis:
    Rodzina to ważny temat w literaturze dla dzieci i młodzieży. W utworach dla najmłodszych ukazywana jest inaczej niż w tekstach dla dzieci starszych i dla młodzieży – jako środowisko bezpieczne i dające akceptację. Specyfika obrazu rodziny w polskiej literaturze dla dzieci została uwidoczniona poprzez zestawienie z francuskimi książkami dla dzieci. Francuskie publikacje, mimo popularnonaukowego charakteru, zwykle operują fabułą. Różnorodność przeżywana w duchu wolności, równości i braterstwa jest w nich ukazana jako bogactwo i źródło radości. Polskie książki podkreślają wartość rodziny, pozbawione są jednak lekkości i żartobliwości obecnej w tekstach francuskich. Zróżnicowany obraz rodziny ukazywany w książkach dla dzieci o charakterze informacyjnym w niewielkim stopniu znajduje swoje odzwierciedlenie w tekstach literackich.
    Family is an important topic in literature for children and youth. In works for the youngest readers, it is presented differently than in texts for older children and youth—as a safe environment that offers acceptance. The specificity of the image of the family in Polish literature for children has been illustrated in this article by comparing it with French books for children. French books usually operate with a plot and combine the informational character with artistic values. The diversity experienced in the spirit of freedom, equality and fraternity is shown in them as a richness and a source of joy. Polish books emphasize the value of the family, but they are devoid of the lightness and playfulness present in French texts. The diverse image of the family presented in books with informational content is to a small extent reflected in literary texts.

    Family in the sermons and letters written by John Paul II is presented as a community of people that are gathered by love. It is also a sign of unselfish and common God’s love towards people. Love is the idea that is mostly used by the Pope in his texts, because he claims that love is a spiritual center of the family, love is the foundations of the origin and development of family. Love becomes also a source of peace and happiness for parents and their children. John Paul II highlights the need for closeness that is typical not only for the family members, but also for the members of the society, nation and the Church. In the linguistic image of the family that is presented in the texts of John Paul II the most often profiles may be indicated: family is a sanctuary of life, family is a community of life and love, family is a school of humanity, the school of love and social life, family is the domestic church, family is the way. Family as a community of love is the smallest institution that brings life, defends the life, creates an identity and transmits the worlds of values, language, culture and truths of faith to the following generations. Family decides about the future of the nation, country and the Church.

    Opis:
    The purpose of this paper is to define the stereotypical image of a transnational family in the context of the concept of stigma and stigmatisation. The analysis is based on the assumptions of the interactive theory, with particular reference to Erving Goffman’s concept of stigma. The introductory part of the paper, dealing with the underlying social  consequences of the functioning of transnational families, has been based on the characteristics of Polish post-EU accession migrations, with particular focus on the current issues. Attention has been paid to the legal problem connected with migrations of parents and resulting from these migrations failure of migrant parents to exercise their parental responsibility. The article also presents various views on the definition of a transnational family, being an alternative to the socio-cultural construct of a full family. The key theme in the discussion presented in the paper is the focus on the role of ‘social audience’ in the creation of the stigmatisation of a ‘euro-orphan’.
    Niniejszy artykuł ma na celu przedstawienie stereotypowego wizerunku rodzin rozłącznych przestrzennie w świetle koncepcji piętna i stygmatyzacji. Analiza opiera się na założeniach interakcyjnych teorii, ze szczególnym nawiązaniem do koncepcji piętna Ervinga Goffmana. Wprowadzenie do problematyki społecznych konsekwencji funkcjonowania rodzin transnarodowych stanowi charakterystyka polskich migracji poakcesyjnych podkreślająca aktualność poruszanego zagadnienia. Zwrócono uwagę na problem prawny pojawiający się w związku z migracją zarobkową rodziców i niewywiązywaniem się z obowiązku władzy rodzicielskiej. Artykuł przedstawia również różne ujęcia definicyjne rodziny transnarodowej, która jest alternatywną konstrukcją społeczno-kulturową dla rodziny pełnej. Kluczowym wątek rozważań dotyczy roli ,,społecznej widowni” w wytwarzaniu stygmatu ,,eurosieroctwa”.

    Grandparents have always been the backbone of every family. Thanks to them the knowledge is passed on, values are shaped and traditions nurtured. They are a treasury of knowledge to which all family members reach. They are the people who will be happy to help, take care of, educate, explain and listen to. The relationship between grandparents and their grandchildren is very important, as they often spend a lot of time together and learn from each other. Due to the importance of the topic, a decision to learn more about the relationship between contemporary grandchildren and their grandparents was made. The scientific aim of the article is to learn about the relationships that exist between the studied students and their grandparents. Searching for an answer to the question posed, a research technique in the form of interviews with children was used. As a result of own research, it was shown that the surveyed students have very good relations with their grandparents, speak about them with great respect, and grandparents are a role model for them. The obtained results emphasize the extraordinary role of grandparents in the grandchildren’s lives, which is the basis for further studies on a larger scale, taking into account the perspective of grandparents and the demographic data of the surveyed families, which would enable the identification of mutual dependencies.
