    Opis:
    Professional ethics of teachers is one of the most important areas of interest of pedeutology. Not only traditions of that profession, but also the contemporary challenges facing it seem to be indicative of it. In the considerations presented, professional ethics of teachers is shown from two perspectives, i.e. the universal and the pluralistic ones. Each of these perspectives is characterized by diverse understanding of professional ethics of teachers and, in particular, its nature. Generally speaking, the first of these perspectives can come down to the establishment of professional ethics of teachers in the form of a code, while the other moves away from such a strictly code-orientated perception of ethics. Certainly, this does not mean a rejection of any ethical stipulations characteristic of teacher circles, but rather adopting a position according to which such exclusive and only correct stipulations do not exist, but there are a lot of them, which one should bear in mind characterizing the ethical aspects of the teaching profession.

    Opis:
    This article presents the results of a study on the doctrinal and institutional binder of ethical infrastructures, developing and ensuring virtuous behaviour of professionals engaged in the financial services sector. The area of research was restricted to the trends in the codification of ethical principles, and the impact of codified ethics on the moral attitudes of individual stockbrokers or investment consultants. Although the code of ethics may not necessarily influence one’s attitudes, it may at least indicate proper conduct. An emphasis was placed on explaining what implementation of ethical infrastructures could mean in practice for the associations of professionals. This issue was explored more fully based on the results of a survey of the common shortcomings accrued around the codification of professional ethics, taking into account some philosophical arguments undermining its role in resolving moral dilemmas. The whole investigation was based on the current achievements of doctrine, complementing the scientific discourse in this area.
    Przedmiotem opracowania jest zbadanie doktrynalnych spoiw infrastruktury etycznej, które winny służyć zapewnieniu właściwej postawy moralnej profesjonalistom narażonym na pokusę przeprowadzenia transakcji spekulacyjnych. W szczególny sposób problem ten dotyczy osób zatrudnionych w sektorze usług finansowych na stanowisku maklera papierów wartościowych i doradcy inwestycyjnego. Obszar badawczy został celowo ograniczony do tendencji formalizacyjnych etyki oraz roli procesów kodyfikacyjnych w jej kształtowaniu. Przede wszystkim po to, by wykazać redundantny wpływ unormowań etycznych na wybrane elementy rozwoju moralnego człowieka. Nadto niniejsza praca kładzie akcent na pełniejsze, niż to było dotychczas, wyjaśnienie regularnie występujących niedociągnięć argumentacyjnych narosłych wokół instytucjonalizacji etyki zawodowej z uwypukleniem tych racji, które dezawuują jej znaczenie przy rozstrzyganiu dylematów moralnych. Naszkicowana problematyka została przedstawiona na podstawie aktualnego dorobku doktryny, włączając się w ten sposób w wartki nurt jej rozważań.

    Opis:
    State audit institutions constitute a very important part of the contemporary model of state. Auditors (people employed by state audit institutions), being professionals, should fulfill many duties which are customarily assigned to them by the society. In their daily work auditors should observe statutes and codes of ethics. The ethics of auditors of the Supreme Audit Office (Najwyższa Izba Kontroli) is held in high regard among rules of conduct for auditors. It serves a model for ethics in other state audit institutions, such as the National Labour Inspectorate (Państwowa Inspekcja Pracy) or Regional Chambers of Audit (regionalne izby obrachunkowe). Ethics of auditors is a special kind of ethics expected from public administration employees.

    Celem niniejszego artykułu jest prześledzenie procesu kształtowania się etyki dziennikarskiej w Polsce. Autor zwrócił również uwagę na trzystopniową samokontrolę mediów: na poziomie jednostki, redakcji oraz całego środowiska zawodowego. Jesienią 2019 roku miały miejsce wybory parlamentarne w naszym państwie. Okres kampanii wyborczej, zwłaszcza w czasach polityzacji mediów i mediatyzacji polityki, niesie różne pokusy, dziennikarze mogą próbować wpływać na wyniki głosowań. Wtedy to teoria (spisane zasady, kodeksy czy regulaminy etyczne) jest sprawdzana w praktyce. W niniejszym artykule ostatnia część poświęcona jest temu zagadnieniu. W tym celu dokonano przeglądu wybranych aktów prawnych w ramach podjętej tematyki.
    The purpose of this article is to trace the process of shaping journalistic ethics in Poland. The author also drew attention to the three-level self-control of the media: at the level of the individual, editorial staff and the entire professional environment. In autumn 2019, parliamentary elections took place in our country. The period of the election campaign, especially in times of media politics and mediatization of politics, carries various temptations, journalists may try to influence the results of voting. Then the theory (written principles, codes or ethical regulations) is tested in practice. In this article, the last part is devoted to this issue. To this end, selected legal acts were reviewed within the framework of the subject matter.
