Opis:
We describe a part of the lattice of subvarieties of left distributive left idempotent groupoids (i.e. those satisfying the identities x(yz) ≈ (xy)(xz) and (xx)y ≈ xy) modulo the lattice of subvarieties of left distributive idempotent groupoids. A free groupoid in a subvariety of LDLI groupoids satisfying an identity xⁿ ≈ x decomposes as the direct product of its largest idempotent factor and a cycle. Some properties of subdirectly ireducible LDLI groupoids are found.

Let S = {a,b,c,...} and Γ = {α,β,γ,...} be two nonempty sets. S is called a Γ -semigroup if aαb ∈ S, for all α ∈ Γ and a,b ∈ S and (aαb)βc = aα(bβc), for all a,b,c ∈ S and for all α,β ∈ Γ. In this paper we study the semidirect product of a semigroup and a Γ-semigroup. We also introduce the notion of wreath product of a semigroup and a Γ-semigroup and investigate some interesting properties of this product.

Hypersubstitutions are mappings which map operation symbols to terms. The set of all hypersubstitutions of a given type forms a monoid with respect to the composition of operations. Together with a second binary operation, to be written as addition, the set of all hypersubstitutions of a given type forms a left-seminearring. Monoids and left-seminearrings of hypersubstitutions can be used to describe complete sublattices of the lattice of all varieties of algebras of a given type. The complexity of a hypersubstitution can be measured by the complexity of the resulting terms. We prove that the set of all hypersubstitutions with a complexity greater than a given natural number forms a sub-left-seminearring of the left-seminearring of all hypersubstitutions of the considered type. Next we look to a special complexity measure, the operation symbol count op(t) of a term t and determine the greatest M-solid variety of semigroups where $M = H₂^{op}$ is the left-seminearring of all hypersubstitutions for which the number of operation symbols occurring in the resulting term is greater than or equal to 2. For every n ≥ 1 and for $M = Hₙ^{op}$ we determine the complete lattices of all M-solid varieties of semigroups.

The concept of strong spined product of semigroups is introduced. We first show that a semigroup S is a rpp-semigroup with left central idempotents if and only if S is a strong semilattice of left cancellative right stripes. Then, we show that such kind of semigroups can be described by the strong spined product of a C-rpp-semigroup and a right normal band. In particular, we show that a semigroup is a rpp-semigroup with left central idempotents if and only if it is a right bin.

Let D be a digraph, V(D) and A(D) will denote the sets of vertices and arcs of D, respectively.
A (k,l)-kernel N of D is a k-independent set of vertices (if u,v ∈ N, u ≠ v, then d(u,v), d(v,u) ≥ k) and l-absorbent (if u ∈ V(D)-N then there exists v ∈ N such that d(u,v) ≤ l). A k-kernel is a (k,k-1)-kernel. Quasi-transitive, right-pretransitive and left-pretransitive digraphs are generalizations of transitive digraphs. In this paper the following results are proved: Let D be a right-(left-) pretransitive strong digraph such that every directed triangle of D is symmetrical, then D has a k-kernel for every integer k ≥ 3; the result is also valid for non-strong digraphs in the right-pretransitive case. We also give a proof of the fact that every quasi-transitive digraph has a (k,l)-kernel for every integers k > l ≥ 3 or k = 3 and l = 2.
