German Synodal Way
Christianity in Europe
the crisis of the Church
self-destruction of the German Church
necessary reforms in the Catholic Church
Opis:
Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller, the closest associate of Pope Benedict XVI, theologically as if his Alter-Ego, is certainly one of the best experts in the Catholic Church in Germany. And it is he who compares the present condition of this Church to the catastrophe of such a huge and luxurious Titanic, which, however, is slowly sinking, because those responsible turned out to be reckless and did  not predict the worst. Indeed, so far the application of almost all criteria that apply to the evaluation of a religious community has shown that, in fact, since the Second Vatican Council, this Church has been losing its vitality and shrinking. However, the so-called Synodal Way has deteriorated even more dramatically in recent times. Its agenda includes goals and demands that are contrary to both Revelation and the Tradition of the Church, and that are contrary to common sense. These are the goals and demands that  have been made by even extreme left and atheistic ideologues and politicians, and which are now to move to the center and  foundations of church teaching. It seems that just as almost all English bishops in the 16th century succumbed to the state violence of King Henry VIII and betrayed  Christ and the Church, today the vast majority of German clergymen succumb to ideological violence in the area of culture and the state and thus betray their own faith and betray Church and Christ. It seems that many of them are close to the ideas of Georg Wilhelm Hegel, who considered himself wiser and greater than all, also than Christ, and the thought of Friedrich Nietzsche, who wanted to replace the crucified Messiah with Dionysus – a patron of, among other things, debauchery. It seems that many of the faithful and clergy in Germany also want to carry out a sexual revolution in the Church as if the second Reformation, perhaps even more catastrophic than the first. It seems that they are putting gender theory in place of Revelation and Christianity. And gender is, in fact, another neo-Marxist pansexual ideology which elevates eroticism as if it were the most important value, more important  especially than God and one’s own salvation. One has to ask, how could such a great spiritual catastrophe of a Church that was once so numerous, so strong, so faithful and creative? We must ask what to do so that no more Church would destroy itself so that such a spiritual disease would not spread to other Churches. This article tries to answer these fundamental questions. It does so by analyzing the cultural, historical, national, economic, spiritual and religious conditions of German society that led to such an advanced process of self-destruction of the  Church.

The relationship with God allows man to find the sense of life. Christianity is a humanism – it positions man in the very centre of the world according him the highest place – of the being created after God’s image. The revelation of God’s Love endows man with a new way of enriching himself and others. Thus the desire for happiness gains a new perspective of the divine longing for good.Happiness which Christ promises exceeds the limits of our imagination. It is inconceivable and incomprehensible to those living on earth. Heaven is beyond every word, beyond our conception for it bears the meaning which man cannot fully understand. It is the most supreme happiness, absolutely perfect and complete which no one has ever known.A Christian has to achieve in his life something more than the worldly aims. Whoever limits their life to the earth, focuses only on enjoying and using this life to the full; squeezing from it the last drop heedless of the needs of others.

Opis:
The members of the Catholic Church have both rights and responsibilities, which result from the nature of the human being, as people are called to follow their vocation in life. However, to make it possible people and their activities must be protected by the rights and duties. Code of Canon Law sets out the rights and responsibilities of those who believe. It should be emphasized that these rights and duties permeate each other. A human being, as a member of the community of the Church through baptism, has the right, but also the obligation to promote holiness in life and thus strive to achieve it, since not only does it enrich inner life, but it also affects family life making it more human and more Christian. Parents should enjoy the right to educate their children according to their own beliefs and systems of values, and the state authorities cannot infract or destroy these systems. The right to education is a part of the idea of evangelization, which should originate from the closest members of a family. At the same time members of the Church, including both parents and children, can rely on help from the clergy in achieving salvation. They have the right to form associations and the right to defend the good name.

The meeting of Christian and leftist thought in the context of liberation theology understood not radically, as a South American movement of armed struggle for Christian values, but as actions of leftist ideas in regard to values present among people of the Church. Both Leszek Kołakowski and Józef Tischner have repeatedly taken up themes related to liberation theology. Religious parish, religious house, the temporal goods of the Church
Opis:
This article presents the problematic concerning the property relations between the religious parish and the religious house. According to the Author these relations are founded on two basic principles: the autonomy of the two juridical persons, i.e. the religious parish and the religious house, and cooperation in view of the salvation of souls. The Author then applies these basic principles by commenting on income, the administration of goods and, finally, the common costs to be apportioned.

Faith is a gift, because God takes the initiative to meet people. Any person accepting the gift of faith makes God the solid foundation of his life. The Christian faith can not exist “on its own”, since God’s revelation requires the authority of the Church, to not go wrong. Therefore, it is necessary to believe in the Church, where faith also grows and develops. Anyone who loses his connection to the Church, also loses faith. Moreover, the existence of the Church confirms the truth that faith determines moral principles. Accepting baptism signifies acceptance Christian morality and Christian teaching. The modern world wants to constrain Christian faith to the private sphere. The consequence of such an action is relativism of moral norms which subsequently lose their foundation which proceeds from the authority of the Church.

The article is an attempt to answer the question: Where is the pastoral dimension of religious service of bishops dominated by their managerial tasks and how may this be changed? Four of these modifications have been highlighted. Firstly, it is necessary to get away from the practice of the bishop’s nomination, where is a place just for managers. I particularly have in mind the Roman Curia and Apostolic Nunciature. Secondly, we need to intensify a process of decentralization of competences in ecclesiastical structures – transferring a maximal number of rights from Rome to local churches. Thirdly, the pastoral function of bishops will be emphasized if there were not any auxiliary bishops but only one pastor in a diocese. Fourthly, it is necessary to improve the process of communication between bishops and lay people in the cases of canonical visitations and pastoral letters.

There are currently emphatic appeals for increased efforts in order to include laity in vita et in missione Ecclesiae in the areas of theology and ecclesiology. They define the lay person by negation, as a person without the charism of priesthood. Could you be responsible for situations in which you did not receive the gift of grace from the Holy Spirit? Rather the possession of a charism can create the proper Christian responsibility. In other words, this negative theology of laity cannot make for an ecclesial accountability, because it does not recognize in the lay people their own gifts of grace. It does not conceptualize the mysterious connection between every believer and Holy Spirit who dwells in him and who forms an outstanding vocation of every christifideles. This charismatic presence of the Holy Spirit causes everyone to be in a position of responsibility for their own charism in Ecclesia. So, the theology of charism plays the crucial role in a theoretical and a practical repair of ecclesiastic responsibility of lay people. It had been awakened by Vatican II but was present in theology and practiced in the church at most for two or three decades after only the council.

In the sections of the article, the author presents the following issues: what Tinder consists of; the usage statistics for this tool; the philosophical-sociological background of online-dating; the characteristics of the generation of Tinder users and – finally – the challenges and inspirations Tinder presents to the pastoral care of the Church.

This article presents the importance of the Gospel in the life of consecrated persons according to the teaching of the Church from Paul VI to Francis. The teaching of Popes Paul VI, John Paul II, Benedict XVI and Francis point to the Gospel as the norm and rule of consecrated life. There are many points of convergence in the teaching of the post-conciliar popes on the evangelical character of the consecrated life. This issue is a clear example of the continuity of the teaching of the Church. Each of the Popes emphasizes their thought slightly differently, but they all unequivocally demand that consecrated persons be fully faithful to the Gospel. Because of the contemporary crisis of the consecrated life, these recommendations acquire particular significance and constitute a necessary signpost for the future.

Relationship marketing consists in building long-term customer relationships in order to provide the customer with certain values. It aims to satisfy the customer’s needs and expectations as well as creating and fostering his satisfaction. Although the Church is not an organization which provides certain products or services, she can make use of relationship marketing mechanisms in her ministry. Pastoral care uses the segmentation of “customers” — the addressees of the Church’s ministry, on the basis of their needs and their religious conditions. Marketing sciences indicate four stages of relationship marketing: formation, management, evaluation of results and evolution. All of these are used in Catholic pastoral care.
