    The study sheds light on the problem of communication in the Church and proposes a model of dialogical communication based on data analysis. It must be in harmony with the content of speculative theology, but at the same time it must meet the linguistic needs of the present time. Pope Francis, with the Synod, is channeling many changes in the right direction. Empirical analyses of media coverage of representations of the Catholic Church, provide further support for this theme. On the one hand, we have the press in Slovenia, which is saturated with news about the Church, and on the other hand, we have Radio and Television, which are undernourished. Often, the Church is presented along with celebrities, celebrations, politics and charity work. If we take into consideration the dialogical model of communication, these issues can be entry points for better and more qualitative communication.

    The diocesan synods summoned by the Tarnów bishops among the many pastoral issues raised also spoke about the issues of singing and music in the liturgy. In the pre-Vatican II period synods showed liturgical music as an addition and decoration of the celebration, and after the Second Vatican Council, as its integral part. In synodal documents it was emphasized the glory of God and the sanctification of the faithful as important goals of liturgical music, its connection with the word, the significance of Gregorian chant and Palestrina polyphony, the sacral nature of works excluding everything secular. Great importance was attached to the existence and service of choirs and other vocal band, to the education of both priests and organists. Synods paid a lot of attention to organist issues (contract employment, pay and living conditions of church musicians).
    Zwoływane przez biskupów tarnowskich synody diecezjalne wśród wielu poruszanych zagadnień pastoralnych wypowiadały się też w kwestiach śpiewu i muzyki w liturgii. W okresie przedsoborowym ukazywały muzykę liturgiczną jako ozdobę celebracji, a po Soborze Watykańskim II jako jej integralną część. Podkreślano w dokumentach synodalnych chwałę Bożą i uświęcenie wiernych jako istotne cele muzyki liturgicznej, jej powiązanie ze słowem, znaczenie chorału gregoriańskiego oraz polifonii palestrinowskiej, sakralny charakter wyłączjący wszystko, co świeckie. Dużą wagę przywiązywano do istnienia i posługi chórów i innych zespołów wokalnych, do wykształcenia zarówno duszpasterzy, jak i organistów. Wiele uwagi synody poświęciły kwestiom organistowskim (zatrudnienie na umowę, warunki płacowe i bytowe muzyków kościelnych).

    Przedmiotem artykułu jest jeden z najbardziej dyskutowanych tematów w kanonistyce posoborowej, tj. podmiotowe prawo osoby ochrzczonej zawarte w przepisach kodeksu prawa kanonicznego z 1983 roku. Poruszana problematyka została poddana analizie w oparciu o zasady rewizji kodeksu wypracowane przez I Synod Biskupów. Autor podkreśla, że zasadniczym zamierzeniem odnowy prawa kościelnego miała być nie tyle pilna konieczność poszerzenia katalogu praw wszystkich wiernych, ile bardziej kwestia sposobu sprawowania władzy rządzenia przez kościelnych przełożonych, którzy winni się wystrzegać arbitralności lub innych form poważnych nadużyć w tym zakresie. W konsekwencji autor wskazuje na przewagę obowiązków nad tzw. prawami i postuluje, by tzw. prawa podmiotowe wyrażać poprzez termin „wolność”, z uwagi na istotę założeń, na których zbudowany jest prawny system Kościoła katolickiego.
    The paper discuses one of the most commented topic in the contemporary science of canon law, that is the bill of subjective rights and obligations set by the ecclesiastical legislator in the Code of canon law for the Western Church. The author analyses the concept of those rights and obligations in the light of the Principles of revision elaborated by the first Synod of Bishops held in 1967. One of the commission’s first actions was to draft a set of principles to guide the work of rethinking the Code, especially the significance of rights and obligations of the Christian faithful. Given the nature of the Catholic Church developed by the Second Vatican Council (communion and participation), the examination of this document let the author to affirm that the main goal was to emphasise the exercise of authority that should have appear more clearly as service and should be free from abuse rather to define and safeguard the rights of persons. Furthermore, it was also possible to determine the correct intention of the Synod Fathers whose idea was to define the subjective rights in term of liberties in the same way in which they are obtainable in catalogues of human rights. Eventually, the author demonstrates consequences related to the new vision of rights and obligations highlighting for example the clear priority of obligations over rights.

    The aim of this article is to show pastoral tasks towards the family and marriage resulting from the teaching of the Church in the apostolic exhortation Amoris laetitia. Pope Francis focuses on the four main challenges of the pastoral care of the family: preparation for marriage, accompaniment to spouses, especially in the first years after the marriage, the marriage of survivors and difficulties, and the formation of pastors and secular family pastoral workers. The author of this article seeks to illustrate these pastoral tasks in the context of the entire study of the Church about marriage and the family in the modern world.

    Obradujący w dniach od 5–19 października 2014 roku III Nadzwyczajny Synod Biskupów zajął się małżeństwem i rodziną w społeczności świeckiej i w Kościele oraz zagrożeniami uderzającymi w rodzinę. Dużo miejsca ojcowie synodalni poświęcili sprawie pomocy zagrożonej rodzinie, a w szczególności osobom rozwiedzionym, które zawarły ponowny związek małżeński. Obrady były utrzymane w klimacie wierności tradycyjnemu nauczaniu Kościoła o małżeństwie i rodzinie, chociaż niektórzy ojcowie przedkładali propozycje, które wybiegają poza jego ramy.
    The Third Extraordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops was held in the Vatican from 5 to 19 October 2014. The paper offers a short presentation and analysis of the documents of the meeting. The discussions during the Synod were concentrated on the marriage and family issues, especially in the context of the problems and threats, which the modern world poses to the two institutions. The Fathers of the Synod also dedicated a lot of time during the discussions to the issues of assistance and help to families, as well as to the divorced faithful who contracted another, but only a civil one, marriage. The deliberations during the Synod reflected rather the traditional catholic teaching, but some of the voices during discussion did not follow it.

    The Diocese of Katowice, in existence since 1925, elevated to the dignity of the archdiocese in 1992, just before its jubilee, on November 20, 2016, gave the People of God of the Katowice Church the gift of the synodal declarations. The declarations in question deepen the understanding of the Second Vatican Council and animate the faith, love, and hope of the Church of Katowice. The paper presents the norms about the teaching of the Church and considers them a useful tool for achieving the goal in question.
    Istniejąca od 1925 r. diecezja katowicka, podniesiona w 1992 r. do godności archidiecezji, w przededniu jubileuszu swojego istnienia, dnia 20 listopada 2016 r. przekazała ludowi bożemu Kościoła katowickiego dar w postaci uchwał II Synodu Archidiecezji Katowickiej. Ma on pogłębić nauczanie Soboru Watykańskiego II i ożywić wiarę, nadzieję i miłość wiernych tego Kościoła partykularnego. Ukazane w niniejszym artykule normy dotyczące posługi nauczania w Kościele katowickim jawią się jako narzędzia mogące pomóc w realizowaniu tego celu.

    Cardinal Karol Wojtyła, inspired by the Second Vatican Council, initiated a renewal of Krakow’s Church. The process was multidimensional and involved, among others, a reform of existing archdiocesan structures and a creation of new ones. The renewal was deeply rooted in the theology of the Second Vatican Council, especially in its teaching on the Church, presented by the Council as a community of the People of God, and the Mystical Body of Christ. To achieve accurate reception of the teaching of the Council, card. Wojtyła used the Archdiocesan Synod of Krakow and the Provincial Council.

    The “new evangelization” is a synonymous of the rebirth of the life of faith in the Church. If accepted by all the communities of the divided Christian Church it can contribute to fruitful proclamation of Jesus Christ to the contemporary world, and to build a visible koinonia. The new evangelization should therefore be seen as a challenge to all Christian denominations. The church must see the need for complementarity and interplay of the two initiatives for the world: new evangelization and ecumenism.

    The tensions existing in the Church between the preservation of Tradition and its development have always existed. It is difficult to maintain a harmonious balance in this respect. Accentuating fidelity to Tradition means that its development remains in the shadow. And vice versa ‑ focusing on the development process of Tradition, shifts the concern for its integrity. After the Second Vatican Council, the tensions between the Vatican and local churches concerned the synod institution, the episcopate conference and the infallible teaching of the Pope. In the future, these tensions between the preservation of tradition and development will concern celibacy of priests and priesthood of women. There is a space of freedom for new solutions in the Church, but there are also limits that cannot be crossed. No state in the Church, and no more individuals have a monopoly on the truth. It can be discerned in the community in which the Holy Spirit operates.

    The paper is a modest try of making analyze and help to familiarize the interested with the most important problems and challenges, which were the subject of the discussion during the Third Extraordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops that was held in the Vatican from 5 to 19 October 2014. Presented re ection and remarks are – as it was written in the Conclusions of the Final Re- latio of the Synod – the fruit of the synod which main aim was to rise questions and boarded perspective of the issues on family in the context of the New Evangelization. The issues in questions should be the subjects of the re ection of the local Churches during the next year. The outcome of the work must be to compiled and in prescribes manner and sent to the Holy See. This will be special contributions and testimony made by the local Churches to the Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops which is scheduled for the October 2015.
    Artykuł jest próbą przeanalizowania najważniejszych problemów i wyzwań, będących tem- atami dyskusji podczas III Nadzwyczajnego Zgromadzenia Ogólnego Synodu Biskupów, które miało miejsce w Watykanie od 5 do 19 października 2014 roku. Prezentowane re - eksja i uwagi są – jak to zostało zapisane we wnioskach w Relatio synodi – owocem synodu, którego głównym celem było postawienie pytań i poszerzenie perspektywy dla zagadnień zwiazanych z rodziną w kontekście Nowej Ewangelizacji. Zagadnienia, o których mowa, powinny być przedmiotem re eksji w Kościołach lokalnych w nadchodzącym roku. Wynik tej pracy powinien być opracowany i przesłany w określonej formie do Stolicy Apostolskiej. Należy zauważyć, że ten sposób działalności synodu jest wyrazem aktywnego włączenia Kościołów lokalnych w prace Zwyczajnego Zgromadzenia Ogólnego Synodu Biskupów, które jest planowane na październik 2015 roku.
