Opis:: The chief aim of this article is to show the key features of the Aramaicversion of the Book of Hosea, that is a part of the Targum Jonathan. Thefirst section of the research is the translation of a few passages of TargumHos 1–3. On the basis of these translations, the allegorical meaning of themarriage of the Prophet in the targumic interpretation is shown. These arealso some features of targumic renderings. The second part of the articlediscusses the most important aspects of the theological concept of TargumJonathan based on examples from Targum Hosea.

Opis:: The main objective of the article is to show the features of the Aramaictranslation of the First and the Second Books of Chronicles which belongs tothe late Targums. The work presents the main data related to the authority,date and origin of the Targum and its manuscripts and the review of majortranslation techniques and the method of rabbinic interpretation, which areall important elements of the targumism. Linguistic changes, as well ascultural and religious ones, conditioned by various processes that occurredin the community of believers in YHWH over the centuries, were reflectedin separate interpretative tendencies.
