Opis:: The article addresses a very important issue, being the lack of a specific environmental protection scientific discipline in Poland. The actual situation in this extent is analysed and compared to the solutions of the EU based on the systematic basis accepted by the OECD. The author presents methodological solutions in his study, which may serve as the basis for the creation of a substantive framework for the designation of a separate environmental protection scientific discipline. These assumptions are supported by holistic elements, which are essential to environmental management with regard for the concept of sustainable development.

Opis:: Environmental education, frequently referred to as ecological education, is commonly associated with the description and shaping of human rela¬tionships with the natural environment. It points to the examples of anthro¬pocentric transformation of nature and the consequences thereof. Deeper analysis leads to the conclusion that the existing emphasis of environmental education was on natural aspects, while neglecting no less important social issues, including human health. This article is devoted to demonstrating the interrelationships and dependencies of environmental education and preventive healthcare, from definition through to various activities and finally effects. The article clearly promotes being active, highlighting the importance of being involved in the development of gardens, which are important both in terms of the protection of the natural environment, through the development and diversification of the landscape, and in the maintenance of good physical and mental condition. In summary, the article puts forward the notion that in going through life, it is worthwhile to really care about one’s health and the natural environment, especially since one is dependent on the other

Opis:: Two traditions, which are the philosophical and educational foundations of the Western culture, were characterised and compared in this article. Classical natural law theory and modern, conventionalist vision of state, law and morality were analysed. In the last part of the article, the concept of values was critically discussed.
W artykule scharakteryzowano i porównano ze sobą dwie tradycje tworzące – również w perspektywie edukacji – filozoficzne podstawy kultury zachodniej. Zanalizowano klasyczną koncepcję prawa naturalnego oraz nowożytną, konwencjonalistyczną wizję państwa, prawa i moralności. W końcowej części artykułu przeprowadzono krytyczną analizę pojęcia „wartości”.

Opis:: Tis article presents the degree of correlation between religious education and mathematics and natural sciences based on Te Core Curriculum for the Catholic Church Catechesis in Poland. A necessity to utilize the recommended correlation has been demonstrated in order to facilitate comprehensive development and a better understanding of the surrounding reality in recipients of the catechesis. While applying the correlation between speciﬁc subjects one should remember to adhere to autonomy of sciences, autonomy of objectives and tasks for each subject, and autonomy of content prioritization. To overcome diﬃculties the catechists could face, eﬀort should be put forward to increase their competency. It can be achieved by including elements of mathematics and natural sciences in educating future catechists, ad through ongoing formation in individual dioceses. Tis would allow utilization of the wealth of knowledge developed by individual catechetical departments.
W artykule przedstawiono zakres korelacji szkolnego nauczania religii z przedmiotami matematyczno-przyrodniczymi w oparciu o nową Podstawę Programową Katechezy Kościoła Katolickiego w Polsce. Wykazano potrzebę stosowania w praktyce zalecanej korelacji, by pomóc adresatowi katechezy we wszechstronnym rozwoju i lepszym rozumieniu otaczającej rzeczywistości. Stosując korelację między treściami poszczególnych przedmiotów należy przestrzegać zasady autonomii nauk, autonomii celów i zadań poszczególnych przedmiotów oraz autonomii doboru uszeregowania treści. Aby przezwyciężyć trudności jakie mogą czekać na katechetów należy dążyć do zwiększenia ich kompetencji. Można to osiągnąć poprzez wdrażanie tematów z zakresu przedmiotów matematyczno-przyrodniczych do kształcenia katechetów, którzy w przyszłości będą pełnić posługę oraz poprzez formację permanentną, odbywającą się w poszczególnych diecezjach. Pozwoli to wykorzystać bogactwo wypracowane przez poszczególne wydziały katechetyczne.
