    Opis:
    In the paper, the author attempts to point out the meaning of procedures for the environmental management system (EMS). Particular attention is paid to form and content as well as to the functions, proprieties and structure of the procedures. The analyses were carried out taking into account a systemic approach of the essential topics to the ISO 14001 standard. Based on the chosen procedure, some fundamental methods of elaborating upon and implementing the EMS procedures were outlined. It was also presented that procedures written in accordance with these rules might provide vital support to the improvement of the organization’s management systems and might optimize the processes in the areas they cover.

    In this paper, the author attempts to point out the meaning of procedures for the environmental management systems (EMS). Particular attention is paid to form and content, as well as the functions, proprieties and structure of the procedures. The analyses were carried out taking into account the systemic approach, with respect to core areas covered by the ISO 14001 standard. Based on the chosen procedures, some fundamental methods of elaborating and implementing the EMS procedures were indicated, which might improve the organization and optimization of realization processes. It was also put forward that procedures should provide a vital support to management processes in fulfilling their purpose.

    The article presents the basic problems of creating sustainable development strategies for municipalities. Municipalities are the basic structures that are responsible for shaping local development. Correct strategic planning can correctly orient the development of basic socio-economic processes of a given community. The article presents the role of natural resources in this process. Describes the possible methods of implementing and valorising environmental resources.
    Praca przedstawia podstawowe problemy, jakie pojawiają się w procesie tworzenia strategii zrównoważonego rozwoju gmin. To właśnie gminy i powiaty stanowią podstawowe struktury, które są odpowiedzialne za kształtowanie miejscowego rozwoju. Prawidłowe planowanie strategiczne może prawidłowo ukierunkować rozwój podstawowych procesów społeczno-gospodarczych danej społeczności, z uwzględnieniem zasad zrównoważonego rozwoju. Praca przedstawia rolę, jaką w procesie tym powinny odgrywać zasoby środowiska przyrodniczego. Opisuje możliwe metody wdrażania i waloryzowania zasobów środowiska.

    The article addresses a very important issue, being the lack of a specific environmental protection scientific discipline in Poland. The actual situation in this extent is analysed and compared to the solutions of the EU based on the systematic basis accepted by the OECD. The author presents methodological solutions in his study, which may serve as the basis for the creation of a substantive framework for the designation of a separate environmental protection scientific discipline. These assumptions are supported by holistic elements, which are essential to environmental management with regard for the concept of sustainable development.

    Opis:
    Due to the threats resulting from environmental pollution, which are perceived at present and will only be more persistent in the future, it is justified to have the public informed – at various levels of activity – of the necessity (and possibilities) of care for our planet. The article touches upon the relatively new issues regarding introduction of pro-ecological actions into the career guidance practice. Because of the interchangeable use of certain key – from the point of view of this study – terms in the colloquial language, the first part provides terminological explanations. The second part presents exemplary pro-ecological undertakings which may be launched within occupational counselling activities – the focus is  on programmes offered by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
    Z uwagi na zagrożenia wynikające z zanieczyszczenia środowiska naturalnego, które odczuwane są obecnie, a jeszcze bardziej dadzą o sobie znać w przyszłości, zasadne jest informowanie społeczeństwa, na różnych szczeblach działalności, o konieczności (oraz możliwościach) dbania o naszą planetę. W artykule poruszono stosunkowo nowe zagadnienie wdrożenia w poradnictwie zawodowym działań o charakterze proekologicznym. Z uwagi na zamienne stosowanie w języku potocznym pewnych kluczowych (z punktu widzenia niniejszego opracowania) pojęć, w pierwszej części dokonano wyjaśnień terminologicznych, w drugiej zaś zaprezentowano przykładowe przedsięwzięcia proekologiczne, które można podjąć w ramach działań poradniczych – w artykule skoncentrowano się na programach oferowanych przez Narodowy Fundusz Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej.

    Risk management relies on identification, estimation, control and finance of potential risks. Excient process of management against alternate of ecological threat it’s people and nature resources protection before threats related to pollution of water, air, soil and other components of environment, which balance has been broken by reason of pronouncement of unexpected natural phenomenon, industrial failure and human activities.
