Opis:
Museums have been closely linked to national identity since the 19th century. Currently, museums have to cope with the ways they present themselves to visitors properly. Therefore, national identity in a museum has become the centre of research attention. Children are a large group of visitors who come into contact with the national narrative in museums. Involving children in the research of the concept of national identity constructed in the museum can bring many interesting findings. However, research with children is difficult. Especially for beginning researchers or museum staff, who do not have in-depth experience with qualitative research. Thus, the aim of the study is to present possible ways of researching national identity with children. Attention will be drawn to the discussion of which variables and which data collection techniques are possible to examine national identity and it’s concept with children.

TAT (Thematic Apperception Test)
Opis:
In religious studies, prayer has been extensively researched. Psychological studies use survey methods, so low-educated respondents often cannot comprehend the items. A projective method is presented, based on the Thematic Apperception Test by A. Murray and Ch. Morgan. Data collected in semi-structured interviews are used for qualitative research and for statistical analysis. Quantitative analysis of the references to prayer in narratives has yielded certain results, confirming the usefulness of the test. Qualitative analysis has revealed specificity of the petition and intercession prayer and has called attention to association of location to specific types of prayer.

Opis:
The aim of this article is to discuss possible directions of interdisciplinary studies on obsessive-compulsive disorder. It is proposed that while examining the cognitive basis of the disorder one’s beliefs about the way cognitive processes work and the actual functioning of these processes should be taken into consideration, with executive functions in particular. Interdisciplinary studies combining psychiatry, clinical psychology and cognitive sciences may not only improve the understanding of the nature of cognitive processes, but also provide important data on how they are associated with specific symptoms of mental disorders. From a broader perspective such an approach may be potentially useful in developing new therapeutic techniques.
