Opis:: Contemporary considerations on social inequalities are more and more often of an interdisciplinary character. Particular interest in the above-mentioned issues becomes noticeable in sociological and economic sciences and is also gradually increasing in geographical disciplines. The aim of this study is to present the problem of social inequalities from an interdisciplinary perspective. The analysis highlights the contribution of research conducted by representatives of sociology, economics, and geography. The methods of classification and identification of factors shaping social inequalities were also discussed.

Opis:: The article aims to show the classification of Polish rural areas in the context of revitalization process. This work shows the research making in Polish rural areas concerning this new, important process. Taking experiences from development of rural regions in European Union self-government created the programs called “Revival of the country” and revitalization. These are the most important and the largest regional enterprises implemented by the rural society and also for rural society. It had favorable influence on the preservation and development of the rural identity and integrity at their full range. Nowadays the revitalization process is very important factor of versatile rural economy development.

Opis:: The aim of the study was to identify ways of digitalising specific cultural heritage sites in the space of six selected Polish cities: Białystok, Bydgoszcz, Gdynia, Kielce, Olsztyn and Rzeszów. The data used in the analysis came from four types of online sources. Firstly, these were the official websites of the 18 sites under study, existing in the 2022. Another source of information was the tourist review portal Tripadvisor. In addition, information from popular promotional platforms and social networks was taken into account. The study used techniques applied for existing materials analysis, as well as the following methods: analytical, descriptive, internet query, statistical and graphical. An own zero-one rating system was applied, assigned to six categories of assessment of the digitalisation level of the sites. Among the analysed cities, the best results as to the level of digitalisation were obtained by the facilities located in Kielce, Rzeszów and Bydgoszcz, respectively.
