Opis:: The transport sector is a key sector for sustainable development because of the social and economic benefits that can be achieved thanks to him whit simultaneous minimizing the unfavorable consequences for society, economy and environment. Therefore, such an important issue is the monitoring of progress in the direction of the implementation of sustainable transport. This monitoring must be done on every level of governance from local through regional to national and international. The main aim of this article is to show indicators that can be used in the monitoring of sustainable transport at the regional level. Article points to the difficulties that arise when creating indicators and suggests directions for further work on indicators.

Opis:: The polish regional strategies present a problem of transport development in the regions. Although plans for transport systems in most provinces are not treated as a priority, it can positively assess of their visibility. The strategies differ in the complexity of the approach to the transport system (defined as a set of subsystems).They contain incentives to concentrate on improving transport accessibility, although at the risk of neglecting the improvement of the competitiveness of transport and the sustainability of its development. A characteristic is also the focus of attention on the development of road and air infrastructure.

Analysis of the development of health care system in Poland in the years 2006-2015
Opis:: Zachodzące od lat 80. XX w. zmiany demograficzne w Polsce wyraźnie uwypuklają proces starzenia się społeczeństwa, na który ogromny wpływ mają procesy: rozrodczości, umieralności i migracji. Zjawisko to jest poważnym problemem zarówno demograficznym, jak i społeczno-ekonomicznym, gdyż prowadzi do wielu niekorzystnych konsekwencji, np. zmiany zasad funkcjonowania systemów zabezpieczenia społecznego, opieki zdrowotnej czy szkolnictwa. W opracowaniu przeprowadzono analizę przestrzenną rozwoju systemu opieki zdrowotnej w Polsce, z uwzględnieniem podziału na województwa, a także podjęto próbę weryfikacji, czy wraz z postępowaniem procesu starzenia się społeczeństwa następuje rozwój systemu opieki zdrowotnej w Polsce w latach 2006-2015.
The demographic changes occurring in Poland since the 80s of the twentieth century clearly show the aging of the population, which the processes of fertility, mortality and migration have a huge impact. This phenomenon is a serious problem of demographic and socio-economic because it leads to many adverse consequences, i.e. policy changes the functioning of social security, health and education. In the study will carry out spatial analysis of the demographic potential and the level of unemployment in Poland, and will research the impact of the level of unemployment on the process of aging society in Poland in the years 2005-2014.

Opis:: The significance of transport results from the multilateral links it has with all forms of activity. Transportation is an activity that may influence the development of the whole economy. It may affect its stimulation or inhibit its growth. In Poland, due to the convenient location in the centre of Europe and at the intersection of major transportation routes, are created good condition for transit service and development of TSL companies. However, there is no coherent and well-functioning transport system, integrated with European and global, which inhibit the development of global trade. Polish transport SWOT analysis indicates its strength, which can be properly used and will increase the opportunities and will avoid risks of development.

Opis:: Transportation is one of basic factors affecting localization and shaping of the city. Constant development of transportation technology determines changes in space, number of inhabitants and shape of the city. At the same time urban transportation system unwittingly has initiated negative events, like the natural environment deterioration, growing congestion and increase in number of traffic accidents. This in contrary to sustainable development of the city, which postulates supporting high quality of life of present and future inhabitants. There of it is necessary to change the scope as well as forms of mobility in urban areas. Obtaining of desired solutions requires transportation strategy integrated with spatial planning. Lack if such integration is excessive stimulation of mobility connected with basic needs of inhabitants. Proper integration of spatial planning and transportation should be manifested in ensuring necessary interdependence of the policy "city today" with policy "city tomorrow".

Opis:: Celem opracowania jest dokonanie skrótowej i bardzo uproszczonej – ze względu na objętość tekstu – analizy relacji pomiędzy zakresem państwa w gospodarce (zakresem ingerencji państwa) a jakością systemu gospodarczego. Pytanie badawcze, na które została podjęta próba odpowiedzi, jest następujące: czy istnieje zauważalna korelacja (nie przesądzając kierunku tej korelacji) pomiędzy jakością systemu gospodarczego, a głębokością czy zakresem oddziaływania państwa na ten system? Opracowanie składa się z trzech części. W pierwszej dokonano krótkiej analizy kategorii „dobra gospodarka” i „dobry system gospodarczy” w aspekcie historyczno-teoretycznym. W części drugiej przedstawiono założenia i uproszczenia niezbędne do przeprowadzenia badań empirycznych. Część trzecia zawiera wyniki tych badań oraz wnioski z nich wynikające.
The objective of the study is to carry out the simplified and shortened – on grounds of the length of text – analysis of the relations between the range of the state in the economy (the range of the state’s intervention) and the quality of an economic system. Research question to which we attempt to answer is: is there a noticeable correlation (not pre-empting if it is negative or positive) between the quality of an economic system and a range of the government intervention in this system. The publication is composed of three parts. The first part contains a short analysis of the idea “good economy” and “good economic system” in the historical and theoretical aspect. In the second part we present the assumptions and simplifications necessary to carry out the empirical research. The third part contains the results of the study and the derived conclusions.

Opis:: Ustrój gospodarczy jest bardzo ważnym czynnikiem rozwoju kraju. Konstytucyjną podstawę ustroju gospodarczego Polski stanowi społeczna gospodarka rynkowa oparta na wolności działalności gospodarczej, własności prywatnej oraz solidarności, dialogu i współpracy partnerów społecznych. Ustrój ten umożliwia szybki i trwały rozwój. Polityka kształtowania ładu gospodarczego w Polsce była jednak często prowadzona zarówno niekonsekwentnie, jak i nieudolnie. Właśnie dlatego nie sprzyjała ona znacznemu przyspieszeniu wzrostu i rozwoju gospodarczego.
Economic order is a very important factor of development for a country. Social market economy based on freedom of economic activity, private property and solidarity, dialogue and cooperation of social partners creates the constitutional foundation of economic system in Poland. This order enables fast and sustainable development. However, economic system policy in Poland was often adopted inconsistently as well as ineffectually. That is just why it stimulated economic growth and development insufficiently.

Opis:: This article is about estimation of regional development on the basis of comparative methods of research. As we know the comparative analysis of the similar functioning socio-economic systems helps us to research and understand the key factors of successful regional development, even under the conditions of internal and external shocks. At the same time the role of regions. Most local regional structures are the points of global growth. These circumstances form a new methodological approach for comparison. In the applied aspect, the examples of development of Ural industrial region (Russia) and Italian industrial districts are demonstrated.
W artykule przeprowadzono wszechstronną analizę porównawczą poziomu rozwoju regionalnego systemów społeczno-gospodarczych w warunkach wstrząsów wewnętrznych i zewnętrznych. Uwzględnia się wpływ na rozwój regionalny nowych czynników oraz warunków, takich jak wymiar przestrzenny czy system innowacji, przez co we współczesnym rozwoju gospodarczym regionu jest określana jego zdolność do synergii w zlokalizowanych klastrach. Według autorów artykułu metodologia analizy porównawczej systemów musi być dostosowana do specyfiki regionów przemysłowych. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie takiej metodologii na przykładach rozwoju regionu przemysłowego Uralu (Rosja) i włoskich okręgów przemysłowych.

Opis:: Miasta, także małe, oddziałują na otoczenie wiejskie w dużej mierze poprzez dojazdy do miast do pracy i usług. Tak powstają tzw. miejskie systemy dzienne. Powiązania systemowe powodują, że ich kształtowaniu towarzyszą problemy, których zasięg przekracza granice gmin lub skala właściwa do ich rozwiązywania przekracza kompetencje jednej gminy. Autor analizuje te problemy oraz możliwe miejsca ich rozwiązywania, porównując planowanie strategiczne rozwoju powiatów i miejskich obszarów funkcjonalnych. Wykazuje też, że najlepszym miejscem rozwiązywania niektórych z tych problemów byłoby planowanie przestrzenne powiatów, nieistniejące w obecnym systemie planowania przestrzennego w Polsce.
Towns, also small, affect the rural environment considerably by commuting to towns to work and services. So are the so-called daily urban systems. The system links cause that in their development there are problems which range exceeds the boundaries of the communes or the scale appropriate for problem solving exceeds the competences of one municipality. The author analyses these problems and the places of problems solving, by comparing the strategic planning for the development of counties and functional urban areas. The author shows, that the best place to solve some of these problems would be spatial planning of counties, not existing in the present spatial planning in Poland.
