Głównym celem artykułu było określenie znaczenia portu w Kołobrzegu
dla lokalnego rynku pracy. W artykule podjęto próbę oszacowania zatrudnienia we
wszystkich realizowanych przez port rodzajach działalności. Uwzględniono zatrudnienie
bezpośrednio oraz pośrednio związane z działalnością portu. Ze względu na skalę oddziaływania
portu, jego znaczenie dla rynku pracy odniesiono do obszaru powiatu. Port
w Kołobrzegu wywiera znaczny wpływ na lokalny rynek pracy, przyczyniając się do
obniżenia stopy bezrobocia. Jej dalszego spadku należy dostrzegać w rozwoju działalności
rekreacyjno-sportowej oraz przeładunkowej. Ze względu na utrzymujący się od lat
niski stan zasobów ryb bałtyckich, nie należy się spodziewać wzrostu zatrudnienia
w działalności rybackiej portu.
The main objective of this article was to determine the significance of the Kołobrzeg sea port for the local job market. The author attempts to estimate employment in all types of activity realized in the port, i.e. sports and recreation, sea fishing, and cargo handling. The estimates include the employment directly and indirectly connected with the port's operational activity. Due to the port’s area of influence, its significance for the job market was related to the total area of the county. The Kołobrzeg sea port exerted a great influence on the local labor market, significantly reducing the unemployment rate. The reasons for the rate’s further decrease should be sought in the development of the sports and recreation, and the transshipment activities of the port. Due to the persistently low level of fish stocks in the Baltic sea, development of the fishing activity should not be expected. - Źródło:
