    W artykule przedstawione zostanie przestrzenne zróżnicowanie stopnia atrakcyjności turystycznej gminy Dubeninki. Oparto się na dwóch zasadniczych metodach: zobiektywizowanej metodzie bonitacji punktowej oraz metodzie zindywidualizowanej, wynikającej z percepcji mieszkańców gminy i turystów. Artykuł obejmuje analizę i próbę wyjaśnienia różnic i podobieństw między wynikami poszczególnych prób waloryzacyjnych, jak również ocenę zastosowanych metod.
    The article presents the spatial differentiation of tourism attractiveness in the gmiiia of Dubeninki. The author uses two basic methods: an objective ranking method, and an individualised ranking method based on the perceptions of the gmina's inhabitants and tourists. The article includes an attempt to analyse and explain the differences and similarities between the results as well an evaluation of the methods themselves

    Opis:
    In the article photographs presenting the natural landscape of various areas of Poland: lowlands, highlands, lake districts, mountains, cliffs and dune coastlines, have been analyzed. Moreover, photographs presenting diverse natural landscapes in a single image were selected too. The purpose of this article is to answer to the following questions: Do tourists appreciate diverse natural landscapes more highly?; Is there any difference between men and women?; Do national tourists differ from foreign tourists? The study was conducted among a group of 174 students of Geography and Spatial Development as well as among foreign students who had come to Poland on the Erasmus program. The research took place between October 2015 and May 2016.

    Opis:
    Historical sites may be found in nearly all small towns in Poland. Some are listed by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites. The purpose of the paper is to discuss the role of these resources in the broader set of elements shaping the tourism potential of towns, and also to illustrate the regional differences among small towns in Poland in terms of their potential to develop a local or regional tourism sector. The study provides a typology of towns based on local natural and landscape elements, cultural heritage resources as well as hotels and other tourist accommodations. The statistical data discussed in this paper was obtained from the Local Data Bank of Statistics Poland for the period 2012–2014, while historical sites were chosen from the National Heritage Board of Poland. The study covers all small towns in Poland and has shown unequivocally that the presence of a historical site is not necessarily a factor in the overall development of a local tourism sector. The cultural resources appear to be an undervalued asset, which can be used to develop a local tourism sector, especially in towns which are searching for new development paths.

    Autorka prezentuje w formie piramidy płaszczyzn koncepcję spostrzegania przez środowisko lokalne i turystów efektów zachodzących pod wpływem rozwoju agroturystyki. Ich spostrzeganie przez wymienione grupy jest różne – w przypadku turystów piramida jest odwrócona. Podjęta jest także próba bilansowania skutków rozwoju agroturystyki w ujęciu statycznym i dynamicznym, ze wskazaniem na wiążące się z tym prawidłowości co do osiąganych korzyści i ponownych strat przez lokalne środowisko.
    The effects of agro-tourism development, as perceived by local inhabitants and tourists, are presented by means of two-dimensional pyramids. These perceptions differ as In the case of tourists the pyramid is inverted. The article also attempts to evaluate the effects of agro-tourism development in statistical and dynamic terms, and indicates patterns in the costs and benefits to local communities.
