    Opis:
    Appropriate organization must be developed for either the existing and developing airal infrastructure. This organization is necessary in order to ensure correct operation of elements (facilities) comprising rural, municipal public utility infrastructure. Paper presents an organization model of municipal infrastructure operating system. The model includes all elements comprising the engineering support system for the existing infrastructure. Development of appropriate organization responsible for municipal infrastructure in a systemic manner is a sine qua non condition for ensuring its effective operation, increasing useftil life, and cutting cost.
    W opracowaniu przedstawiono model struktury organizacyjnej systemu działania infrastruktury gminy. W modelu tym uwzględniono wszystkie elementy składające się na system zabezpieczenia technicznego istniejącej infrastruktury. Powstanie odpowiednich struktur organizacyjnych, które będą odpowiedzialne za infrastrukturę gminy w ujęciu systemowym jest niezbędnym warunkiem zapewnienia jej sprawności działania, wydłużenia okresu eksploatacji i obniżenia kosztów.

    Paper presents selected management information systems in the railway industry companies arising from the transformation of the Polish State Railways into PKP Group. Hardware and software solutions used by this systems and benefits of implement them are also pointed out. Takes into account the areas of financial management as well as the areas of operational management, specific for their activities. These issues are presented in the context of technology and economy. It has been proved that the organizational solutions imply the impossibility of efficient use of resources allocated to information systems due to consummate the benefits of consolidation, virtualization and cloud computing is impossible.

    Paper presents the implementation problems of information management systems in the railway industry with an analysis of the current situation, the needs of companies and benefits of the implementation. It takes into account the area of financial management, a range similar to the other companies, as well as the area of operational management specific for their activities. These issues are presented in the context of technological changes taking place since the beginning of the XXI century in the information management systems and organizational changes in the PKP Group with the transport operations and railway infrastructure management separation, consolidation of the PKP Group and the changes connected with the preparation for the privatization of some of the group entities.

    Główny cel polityki UE w zakresie bezpieczeństwa żywności to zapewnienie jak najwyższego stopnia ochrony zdrowia konsumenta. Kwestia konkurencyjności szczególnie wśród przedsiębiorstw agrobiznesu jest niezmiernie ważnym aspektem rozwoju polskiej gospodarki. O zdolności do poprawy konkurencyjności danej dziedziny decyduje wiele czynników, zarówno o charakterze ekonomicznym jak i pozaekonomicznym. Teoria i praktyka dowodzą, że w obecnej dobie jednym z czynników może być szeroko pojęta jakość, poparta wdrażaniem systemów zarządzania jakością.
    The main goal of the EU food safety policy is to ensure human life protection on the highest possible level. In the present stage of Polish economy development, the major problem is an improvement of competitiveness. After Poland’s accession to the European Union, entrepreneurs had to decide ways of their further economic activities. Although the integration brought great opportunities, there were also numerous problems and fears connected with the fact. In this connection the issue of competitiveness, especially within agribusiness enterprises, is an extremely important aspect of Polish economic development. However, there are many economic as well as non-economic factors deciding on the ability of competitiveness enhancement in particular branches of economy. Moreover, methods that have been based on cost and price relations are no longer effective enough, so that entrepreneurs have to search for more successful methods and tools to gain long-lasting advantages over their market competitors. Both theory and practise prove that nowadays the widely understood quality supported by implementation of certified quality management systems’ rules can be such a factor.

    Opis:
    Electric and electronic devices contain different materials which can be dangerous for environment and human’s life. These materials are mainly heavy metals (Hg, Pb, Cd, Cr) and chemical compounds of chlorine (CHC, PCB, PCV). The research was focused on analysis of possibilities of limitation of neagitive impact on environment by ecodesign. Computer printer was taken as an example. It’s impact on environment was estimated by analizys of several variants of exploatation and disposal. The Life Cycle Analysis method with Sima Pro 7.0 program was considered to be very useful. This method allows to compare different variants and to take into consideration environmental and economical criteria.

    This paper describes the basis - resulting among others from the prudential capital regulations - for capital management at a commercial bank. In the capital management process there are used capital allocation and risk adjusted performance measures. Based on this, the concept of the central MIS extension has been presented in a way that allows to include a wide range of different level managers in the capital management process in order to improve the capital efficiency from the perspective of shareholders.
