The paper presents the results of research carried out in a company producing children's toys and products for the automotive industry. Was made an quality analysis in the manufacturing process for the children's toys - fire brigade. The study used quality management tools: Pareto-Lorenz and Ishikawa diagrams. Based on the survey identified production areas that require attention and eliminate the source of the incompatibilities.
W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań zrealizowanych w przedsiębiorstwie produkującym zabawki dziecięce oraz wyroby dla przemysłu samochodowego. Wykonano analizę jakości w procesie produkcyjnym dla zabawki dziecięcej - straż pożarna. Do badań wykorzystano narzędzia zarządzania jakością: diagram Pareto-Lorenza i diagram Ishikawy. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań określono obszary produkcji które wymagają uwagi i eliminacji źródeł powstawania niezgodności.

Opis:
In the paper, the problem and importance of maintaining an appropriate level of quality in relation to labor protection in the light of EU and national legal standards have been presented. Maintenance of machines and, consequently, stability in the field of process quality is identified on the basis of specific management requirements according the machinery safety in food industry, also with respect to the sphere of their construction, production, distribution, and in particular exploitation. The food industry on global markets is characterized by a large variety of consumers. Therefore, both needs and requirements can have a very wide range, also with regard to quality criteria, care for the natural environment, development of technologies as well as new products introduction. Trends defining dynamics and competition in the food industry include a large number of factors, that require effective management, e.g.: quality ingredients of foodstuffs, preparation of products, maximum product safety as a measure of quality, application of modern production technologies (fast filling and packaging installations). Care for the safety of machinery and equipment used in industry and food processing is a guarantee of manufacturing products of the highest nutritional quality for consumers. With regard to ensuring the safety and quality of food products, in the paper the general principles in risk assessment and the technical measures to improve the safety of machines during their use have been presented.

The aim of this article is to present the selected quality management tool in a cement manufacturing plant. The result of the analysis is the presentation of Ishikawa diagram, which has shown the cause why the product does not meet the requirements of customers as well as the normalized requirements.

Technological progress has brought a large amount of complex machinery into the work processes, which represents a potential source of serious injuries, accidents, or breakdowns. The aim of this paper is to follow new trends in the FMEA and their use in our study. We have chosen the Turning Machine Doosan V-Puma Doosan PUMA V550R Machining Centre with manufacturing diameters and mechanical machining operations. We have created the FMEA team, which participated in the entire evaluation and analysis. We identified possible failures and causes of failures in the given operations. We applied the conventional PFMEA and identified the RPN risk number. We also used DEMATEL model. Using DEMATEL matrices, we identified a binding between the individual failures and the causes of the failures. Some failures will become the main cause of other failures and the causes of the failures; some arise as a result of other failures or causes of failures. Finally, we evaluated the applicability of individual methods and models. By the DEMATEL model we clarified the significance and bindings between individual failures.

Po przeprowadzonych badaniach, powstał diagram Pareto-Lorenza, który ukazuje przyczyny poprzez, które powstaje wyrób nie spełniający wymagań klientów, normy. Diagram drzewa ukazuje działania zapobiegawcze jak i korygujące do powstałych przyczyn.
The aim of this article is to present the selected quality management tool in a trousers production facility. After the research, a Pareto-Lorenz diagram has been developed, which shows the causes by which the product does not meet the requirements of the customer. The tree diagram shows the preventive and corrective actions for the causes.

In this article is drawn attention to the social aspects of improving the quality of production. The relationship between the development of technology and society is still underappreciated. There is a vital need to make technical managers aware of the rules governing interpersonal relationships. This theoretical article aims to bring the basic concepts of social sciences closer to recipients focused on constant improvement of the production quality. The essence of the work process is primarily the fact that it is done by a human being and mostly in a group of people. This is related to the consequences of sociological nature to which managers do not pay enough attention. Instead of focusing on social and interpersonal problems they are dealing with organizational issues. The conclusion of consideration leads to underlining the need for constant improvement - manager training in social engineering principles.

The objective of the article is to present the practical application of the failure mode and effects analysis in quality management for chosen production process. The first part of the analysis contains the theoretical framework of management, quality, quality management and characteristic of the FMEA method: history, aims, usefulness of application, course, and advantages. Afterwards, the FMEA method’s practical application in analysis of the chosen problem: causes of low quality of milk chocolate has been presented.
Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie praktycznego zastosowania metody FMEA w zarządzaniu jakością wybranego procesu produkcyjnego. Pierwsza część opracowania zawiera definicję zarządzania oraz historię jakości i zarządzania jakością, a także charakterystykę metody FMEA: historię, cele, przydatność stosowania, przebieg oraz zalety wykorzystania. Następnie, przedstawione zostało praktyczne zastosowanie metody FMEA w analizie wybranego problemu: przyczyn niskiej jakości produktu – czekolady mlecznej.

W pracy pokazany został przykład wykorzystania tradycyjnego narzędzia zarządzania jakością jakim jest Diagram Pareto-Lorenza w przedsiębiorstwie kaletniczym. Metoda ta wykorzystana została do analizy dwóch okresów tj. wprowadzenie wyrobu kaletniczego na rynek oraz drugiego okresu jakim jest spadek sprzedaży tego wyrobu. Diagram Pareto- Lorenza pomógł zidentyfikować występujące najczęściej przyczyny niezgodności.
The paper presents an example of the use of a traditional quality management tool, the Pareto-Lorenz Diagram in a leather company. This method has been used to analyze the two periods, i.e. the introduction of a leather product on the market and the second period of the decline in sales of this product. The Pareto-Lorenz Diagram helped identify the most common causes of nonconformity.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie praktycznego zastosowania diagramu Pareto w zarządzaniu jakością wybranego procesu produkcyjnego. Pierwsza część opracowania zawiera podsumowanie badań literaturowych z zakresu jakości oraz charakterystykę diagramu Pareto: historię powstania zasady Pareto, celowość wykorzystania, obszary zastosowania, etapy tworzenia diagramu Pareto-Lorenza, związek diagramu z metodą ABC oraz zalety korzystania z tego narzędzia w zarządzaniu jakością. Następnie, przedstawione zostało praktyczne zastosowanie diagramu Pareto-Lorenza wraz z metodą ABC w analizie wybranego problemu: przyczyn niskiej jakości produktu – czekolady mlecznej.
The objective of the article is to present the practical application of the Pareto diagram in quality management for chosen production process. The first part of the analysis contains the theoretical framework of quality and characteristic of the Pareto diagram: the history of Pareto principle, purposefulness of use, areas of application, the stages of creating Pareto-Lorenz diagram, relationship of the diagram with the ABC method and its advantages. Afterwards, the Pareto-Lorenz diagram with ABC method’s practical application in analysis of the chosen problem: causes of low quality of milk chocolate has been presented.

Metoda wizualna jest jedną z najważniejszych metod kontroli pomimo rozwiniętych technologii informatycznych i bardzo dużemu zautomatyzowaniu samego procesu produkcji. Nadal w celu zapewnienia odpowiedniej jakości przy niewystarczającej stabilności procesu produkcyjnego stosuje się kontrole wizualne produktu i pomimo zwiększenia zastosowania systemów przetwarzania obrazu, nic nie wskazuje na to, aby w najbliższej przyszłości czynnik ludzki został wyeliminowany z tych obszarów przedsiębiorstwa (CYFERT S. 2006). Mimo swojej niedoskonałości i dużego ryzyka niewykrycia wad lub ich nieodpowiedniej oceny przez pracownika nadal najczęściej stosowaną metodą kontroli jakości jest kontrola wykorzystująca zmysły człowieka, zwana Metodą Wizualną. Celem niemniejszej publikacji jest analiza wybranego odcinka procesu produkcji tektury falistej, w przypadku którego stosowana jest kontrola procesu produkcji przy pomocy Metody Wizualnej, oraz sposobu zastosowania tej metody w przemyśle i jej wpływu na poprawę procesu produkcyjnego.

Increasing global competition, changes in the environment and the increasing complexity of supply chains force companies to look for more effective solutions that meet the needs and requirements of customers. The development of information and communication technologies (ICT) can help to cope with these challenges. It can be observed that automation and industrial robotics in production are increasingly attracting the attention of scientists and practitioners. The aim of this article is to show the use of the analysis of the failure causes and effects as a prevention tool in controlling the quality of a given production process in the company. The scope of the work covers an analysis of a selected process, definition of inconsistencies present in this process, and then the FMEA analysis. In the production company one should implement thinking and actions based on the so-called ‘quality loop’ – it is an interdependence model of the undertaken actions which affect the quality shaping. It is carried out from the possibility for identifying a customer’s requirements through a project, production process, up to the assessment of effective capability for meeting the defined requirements. The application of such an approach enables to take the actions improving the operation of quality management in a systemic way.

The article presents an analysis of the modification of the production process on a CNC machine tool. The process was modified by using a new deep hole drilling procedure. As a consequence, an improvement in the quality of manufactured elements in series production has been achieved. The applications were supported by metrological analysis of the product.

Afterwards, the Ishikawa diagram with specification of one category group for the problem: low quality of a finished product – milk chocolate has been presented.
