U podstaw wprowadzonych wniosków leży założenie, że kultura zarządzania jest determinantą mającą kluczowe znaczenie w kontekście sprawowanego stylu zarządzania menedżera.
    The article addresses the issue of mutual relationship between management culture and its impact on the management style exercised in an enterprise. The basis for conclusions was the assumption that the management culture is a key determinant in the context of the managerial style.

The purpose of the article is to identify the importance of the role of managers in building a culture of security in enterprises.

    Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja znaczenia kultury organizacyjnej w przedsiębiorstwie produkcyjnym. Badania przeprowadzono korzystając z danych literaturowych oraz wykorzystano metodę sondażu diagnostycznego, a jako narzędzie badawcze wykorzystano kwestionariusz ankiety, który przeprowadzono z 53 pracownikami przedsiębiorstwa produkcyjnego.
    The process of creating an organizational culture becomes very complicated and complex. Its nature is influenced by internal and external factors. The first can include: valued values, respected by all standards, artifacts, created organizational climate and also the prevailing management style. On the other hand, external factors include the impact of a culture characteristic of the organization's environment and the employees employed in it. Organizational culture helps to build an advantage over competitors and increases the chances of success in a company on the market

    Presented paper concentrate on problems connected with the role of operation manager within industrial company. Operation management concentrate many activities in today’s industrial corporation and because of that the role of it’s manager is very important. He should to have many skills described in this paper. We analysed responsibilities of the operation manager, his basic operational skills and also give some examples of duties and responsibilities of good operation manager on the example of food industry. This example can give some remarks about practical skills needed in operation management in particular enterprise.

    In this article is drawn attention to the social aspects of improving the quality of production. The relationship between the development of technology and society is still underappreciated. There is a vital need to make technical managers aware of the rules governing interpersonal relationships. This theoretical article aims to bring the basic concepts of social sciences closer to recipients focused on constant improvement of the production quality. The essence of the work process is primarily the fact that it is done by a human being and mostly in a group of people. This is related to the consequences of sociological nature to which managers do not pay enough attention. Instead of focusing on social and interpersonal problems they are dealing with organizational issues. The conclusion of consideration leads to underlining the need for constant improvement - manager training in social engineering principles.

    The theoretical aim of the paper is to analyses the main function and concept of production control in operation management. The empirical aim of the paper is to investigate polish production firm opinion about factors affecting production planning and control and also functions of production planning and control. Production control is very important in every factory, and every aspect of operation and production management especially in times of Industry 4.0 conditions. In the paper we presented all classical seven task of production management control. Also there is in the paper an analysis of main factors affecting production control in industrial organization. In the paper we analysed the problems connected with production control. Nowadays in the conditions of Industry 4.0 this is very important concept because the increasing level of digitalization of all industrial processes leads to possibility of detailed analysis of all processes and better level of control. Operation managers should have good level of knowledge about production control and especially quality control. They can use in this many new information tools like statistical methods and artificial intelligence. Especially we think that in the future many function of production control would be assisted by artificial intelligence. We also in the paper give results of research conducted on example of 30 polish production organizations located in Silesia region.

    The problem of leadership and human resource management in commercial banks is a challenge to the growing dominance of e-commerce businesses. Scientific discussions are invariably focused on pro-competitive activities, however, the economic efficiency of which is not always sufficient. In this paper the authors attempt to identify economic and social factors leading to the future and development of retail branches of commercial banks in Poland. The research was carried out by the means of a diagnostic survey in retail branches of selected commercial banks.

    One of the main determinants of the success of a project is the right choice of people. The main focus of the present paper is on the role of the project manager in project management. The project delivery model and the execution, support, and management processes were described. Attention was paid to quality assurance processes in project management. The problems of creating and leading project teams were discussed. Based on empirical research, the main traits, skills, and competences that a project manager should have were identified. The final part of the paper provides an example of the competence profile of a project manager according to the IPMA model.
