The paper presents research results in a scope of evaluation importance of factors in enterprise from automotive industry. These paper presents a case study of the practical use of BOST surveys (first Toyota’s management principle). Analysis of the research results was presented in the form of tables, histograms, radar chart and some statistical tools. Some production workers of the company with the help of BOST questionnaire survey showed, which factors are the most important. The aim of the analysis is to present which factors are the most important by building the significance sequences of obtained results. The results obtained for the type of small and medium-sized enterprises overlap with the results of tests verified in other enterprises.

In the life of every person, there are a number of values that guide them. These values are reflected both in private and professional life, and sometimes they smoothly interpenetrate. In the hierarchy of values related to professional work, work safety should rank among the highest. However, the number of accidents in Polish enterprises leaves no illusions, and the causes of these accidents indicate the main source of their occurrence, which has undoubtedly been the human factor for many years. This paper presents the results of surveys conducted in the SME sector regarding the place of work safety in the hierarchy of values related to professional work in the opinion of employees.

The article presents a case study of the practical use of BOST surveys to identify the most important areas in the execution of production process. It was made the identification of areas from the four Toyota’s management principle point of view. The research object is company producing the different metal products. Some production workers of the company with the help of BOST questionnaire survey showed, which factors are the most important in production process. In frames of the work it was the presentation of research methodology and content four Toyota’s management principle. Based on the survey results of carried out on the population of production workers, a series of importance areas for improvement was formulated. The aim of the analysis is to present which factors are the most important by building the significance sequences of obtained results. The results obtained for the type of small and medium-sized enterprises overlap with the results of tests verified in other enterprises.

The article presents a case study of the practical use of BOST surveys to identify the most important areas that require improvement actions. It was made the identification and of areas requiring improvement from the fourteenth Toyota’s management principle point of view. According to this principle it is crucial to determine the causes of problem by solving technical issues. The research object is company from illumination branch. Some production workers of the company with the help of BOST questionnaire survey showed, which factors can bring the best effect after being improved. In frames of the work it was made characteristics of the research object - producer of illumination, the presentation of research methodology and content fourteenth Toyota’s management principle. Based on the survey results of carried out on the population of production workers, a series of importance areas for improvement was formulated. The aim of the analysis is to present which factors are the most important by building the significance sequences of obtained results. In the article were presented results of analysis with using circular charts, box-and-whisker plots and some statistical tools. The results obtained for the type of small and medium-sized enterprises overlap with the results of tests verified in other enterprises.

Opis:
Making a complex analysis of the problem in order to identify the root of its occurrence, is the process burdened with the risk of uncertainty. This risk is in case of the quality analysis, in which the choice and making a decision is not confirmed by reliable information (number). This risk is in case of the quality analysis, in which the choice and making a decision is not confirmed by reliable information (number). But these techniques do not include the risk of uncertainty, so their sequence should be expanded about the appropriate method, to take this into account. It was considered beneficial to demonstrate that this method is the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process method (FAHP). The aim of the study to implement the FAHP method in the sequence of traditional quality management techniques (Ishikawa diagram and 5Why method) and proposition new, not practiced yet the method to complex analysis of the problem and identify the root of its root cause. The subject of the study was the furniture front, on which the incompatibility was identified (shortened foil). From the categories to which the potential causes of the inadequate foil were assigned, by using the Ishikawa diagram and the FAHP method in an integrated manner, were defined the most important categories (method and machine) in a precise (numerical) way. Next, using the same tools, the relationship between the potential causes was analysed and selected the main causes of the problem. Then, by using the 5Why method the root of the problem was defined (lack of the new machine and failure to comply with labor standards). The obtained results could differ depending on the subjectivity, however, the method itself proved to be effective and can be used to solve other types of the problem.

An occupational risk assessment is one of the main processes to assure a safe and healthy workplace. It was shown, that this process is particularly important in the cause of industrial enterprises, in which the number of accidents is the largest. In these enterprises, one of the most often practiced methods is the PN-N-18002 method. However, it was concluded this method has some limitations. They concern the way of assessing the risks in the traditional number scale, which is less precise than the fuzzy triangular number (using in FAHP). Therefore, the aim is to improve the process of assessment in industrial enterprises by integrated the PN-N-18002 method with the FAHP method (Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process). The test of the proposed method was made for three machine operator positions used to aggregate extraction in one of the Podkarpacie enterprises. These positions were: loader operator (Ł-34), digger operator (CAT 323), dredge operator (300/250 KREBS 10/8). The concept of the method was to identify in a precise way what is the greatest extent danger to the operators of these workplaces. It was shown, that it is the work at height. It was concluded, that this method can be practice to risk assessment of other workplaces, among others from industrial enterprises. The originality is the integrated risk assessment method (PN-N-18002) with the fuzzy multicriteria decision method (FAHP) as part of achieving the precise results of risk assessment.

The article presents research results in a scope of evaluation importance of safety in the workplace in the production processes of enterprise from metal products industry. Toyota's management principles by Jeffrey Liker were pointed out, which refers to elements of Toyota’s house roof. An innovative BOST questionnaire survey was characterized as a tool for transformation of Toyota's management principles into questions. Research group which participated in BOST study from the metal product industry was characterized. Research results were subjected to statistical analysis with a use of basic statistical parameters. Research results showed that safety in the workplace is important factor in the company.
