    Opis:
    In connection with the entry into force of the Anti-terrorism Act, administrators of many production facilities are required to prepare a number of anti-terrorism procedures called anti-terrorist/AT attachment (Security plan related to facilities and equipment subject to mandatory protection in respect of terrorist threats). The article is a case study of the AT attachment implementation in several production plants belonging to one enterprise. It characterizes the strategy adopted in this company and the solutions developed in 2017-2019 in several production plants. The purpose of the article is to show why the implementation of this procedure is a challenge for the company.

    The article addresses the issue of mutual relationship between management culture and its impact on the management style exercised in an enterprise. The basis for conclusions was the assumption that the management culture is a key determinant in the context of the managerial style.

    Nowadays, with global free market economy, which is characterized by strong competition and variability occurring in macro- and microenvironments, enterprises implement tools and methods that allow for collecting current and reliable data (qualitative and quantitative) concerning various parts of its functioning and, with adequate processing and presentation, indicate the areas for process improvement and waste reduction, leading to the improvement in the rate of return. One of the methods to ensure a more efficient manufacturing is SMED. With adequate implementation of the stages of this method, changeover time is minimized, thus reducing costs of production. This study presents an attempt to implement the SMED method in a selected area of production in the enterprise X.

    In the chapter were presented enterprise producing iron goods. Results of the BOST survey were introduced. The research was connected with the first Toyota management principle. It was made analysis of respondent’s characteristics among the employees of enterprise. Structure of rates for factors describing the first Toyota management principle and significance sequences deciding on the development of enterprise was presented.

    W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono proces zastosowania wybranej metody inżynierii jakości do analizy i rozwiązywania problemów z wadliwością procesu produkcji wyrobu odlewniczego – koło pasowe w badanym przedsiębiorstwie X. W pierwszej części artykułu przedstawiono istotę jakości oraz opisano i zobrazowano metodę FMEA. W części teoretycznej przedstawiono charakterystykę badanego obiektu, proces produkcyjny w ujęciu technologicznym oraz przedstawiono analizę FMEA, czyli analizę rodzajów błędów oraz ich skutków. Sprowadza się do analitycznego ustalania związków przyczynowo-skutkowych powstawania potencjalnych niezgodności wyrobu. Celem metody jest identyfikowanie potencjalnych niezgodności produktu, a następnie ich eliminowanie lub zmniejszenie ryzyka z nimi związanego.
    Article presents process of application of a selected quality method for analyzing and solving problems with the defectiveness of the foundry production process -in example of pulley production in the examined enterprise X. The first part of the article presents the essence of quality and describes and illustrates the FMEA method. The theoretical part presents the characteristics of the tested object, the production process in terms of technology and presents the FMEA analysis -the analysis of the types of errors and their consequences. Directs to the analytical determination of cause-effect relation resulting in potential incompatibilities of the product. Afterwards eliminating or reducing the risks associated with it.

    The analysis of the production processes automation phenomenon in enterprises operating in Poland is the object of the presented chapter. The current state of automation of production processes has been also evaluated. The data presented in the chapter come from all types of analyses, reports and statistical data. The results of the analysis confirm that not only the production processes automation level of enterprises in Poland increases, but it also affects the flexibility of the production processes and the product quality improvement as well as financial effects of enterprises. In conclusion, authors underline that there are some barriers in the production processes automation implementing.

    The functioning of an enterprise in times of the market (and international) economy is exposed to various types of mechanisms which may change the scope of an operation. While an entrepreneur can predict certain symptoms of a change, e.g. in law, trends, etc., there may be situations that cannot be fully foreseen. Change management is now an important part of the management field. Adapting to the changing reality makes the company adjusts to changing circumstances, which means it has a better chance to survive or gain a competitive advantage. In this paper the issues related to occupational risk management in a crisis in enterprises related to the COVID-19 pandemic will be discussed.

    Processes of computerization have become a standard in contemporary production plant methods. Implementation of these processes is aimed at limiting activities which had up to that point, been performed manually. Dedicated computer systems are being developed according to the requirements imposed on concrete enterprises with consideration of their manufacturing specificity. These adjusted systems facilitate and accelerate production and improve its performance while helping maintain a consistent level of quality for the final product. Flour mill laboratories use the software to record and facilitate computation of the measurements. This study is aimed at analysing the potential for implementation of the FAM-FMC system as a tool to support production of flour with parameters that match specific customer expectations.

    W artykule przedstawiono wyniki z zakresu analizy problemów związanych z funkcjonowaniem systemu zarządzania produkcją w przedsiębiorstwie produkującym soki i napoje. Stwierdzono następujące trzy główne kwestie problemowe w badanym systemie zarządzania produkcją: 1. Ograniczona pojemność magazynu, 2. Niski stopień wykorzystania maszyn i urządzeń, 3. Długie czasy przestojów linii produkcyjnych. Wykorzystano klasyczne narzędzie jakości w postaci diagramu Ishikawy oraz technikę pytań 5WHY w celu dokonania analiz przyczynowo-skutkowych, identyfikacji przyczyn źródłowych zidentyfikowanych problemów oraz jedno z nowych narzędzi jakości, tj. diagram systematyki, do zaproponowania konkretnych działań i zadań, które posłużą w efekcie udoskonaleniu systemu zarządzania produkcją w przedsiębiorstwie.
    The article presents the results of the analysis of problems related to the functioning of the production management system in the juice and beverage production company. The following three main problems were found in the production management system examined: 1. Limited storage capacity, 2. Low utilization of machinery and equipment, 3. Long downtimes of production lines. A classic quality tool in the form of the Ishikawa diagram and the technique of 5WHY question were used to perform cause-and-effect analyzes, identify the root causes of the identified problems, it was also used a new quality tool, i.e. the tree diagram, to propose specific actions and tasks that will serve as a result of improving the company's production management system.
