    Each of us would certainly like to work in a company or other establishment knowing that we are it is technically well-equipped and designed in accordance with the applicable ergonomic principles. Meeting all the requirements from the point of view of health and safety at work also guarantees peaceful and conscientious performance of the entrusted employee activities. However, cyclical checks should be carried out from time to time mainly to check and assess the health and safety situation of the undertaking concerned. The main and fundamental aim of this article is to present an analysis and assessment of the health and safety situation of a company producing aluminium profiles and sheets for windows and doors on the basis of its household knowledge.

    Opis:
    The production and use of chemicals are continuously increasing worldwide. For example, the global output of chemicals increased approximately 12 times between 1970 and 2020. The burden of disease attributable to exposure to chemicals is significant. World Health Organization estimates that globally, about 5 million deaths and 90 million disability - adjusted life years are attributable to occupational, environmental exposure and management. Public authorities and employers need access to reliable information on chemicals and practical, widely-accepted risk assessment methods in order to effectively control and minimize this threat. To support the management of chemical substances in small and mediumsized enterprises, the UK Health and Safety Executive developed the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Essentials (COSHH Essentials), a control banding technique that determines the management method by assigning the qualitative work environment characteristics of the enterprises to a hazard and exposure prediction band. Qualitative tools were used for assessing the risk of these chemicals, creating solutions, and implementing control measures in various industrial fields. The present paper synthesizes the results of an extensive research study, dedicated to the evaluation of chemical risks within a Romanian company which has as object of activity the mechanical processing of steel laminates and their treatment by methods of electrochemical deposition of hard chromium / electrochemical nickel plating. The application of the simplified health, safety and environmental risk assessment methodology developed by the French National Security Research Institute (INRS) was considered to be the most appropriate in the preliminary phase of identifying and prioritizing the risks associated with chemicals used in technological processes in selected company. Based on the obtained results, the prevention and protection plan regarding the chemical risks was elaborated, the implementation of which led to the reduction of the workers' exposure and to the minimization of the probability and severity of the potential consequences.

    The aim of the paper is to present issues related to the implementation of innovative solutions in the field of occupational health and safety in the enterprise and in the position of quality controller. By presenting the instrumentation of the OHS management system and the "new approach" to issues related to the implementation of the PN-ISO 45001:2018-06 standard, it is possible to define a new paradigm of the management system also in occupational risk assessment. When discussing the effects and actions of arduous and harmful factors at a given workplace, the methods of occupational risk assessment and analysis should be specified.

    Opis:
    The purpose of this article was to identify occupational hazards at the laser cutter operator's workplace and to assess occupational risk. The article also indicates the basic requirements for the analyzed workplace. Research methods included: observation of the workplace (using a checklist), interviews with the employer, selected employees and a health and safety specialist, as well as analysis of the company's internal documents. The occupational risk assessment carried out at work using the Risk Score method showed that there are many different risk factors for accidents or diseases related to the work performed at the position of the laser cutter operator. However, thanks to the preventive measures applied, they are in the analyzed workplace at an acceptable (acceptable) level.

    Poniższy artykuł opisuje proces oceny ryzyka zawodowego na stanowisku operatora maszyn CNC w przedsiębiorstwie X. Ocena przeprowadzana jest w celu określenia poziomu bezpieczeństwa oraz zagrożeń z jakimi może się spotkać pracownik wykonujący tę pracę w przedsiębiorstwie. Analizę warunków pracy opracowano poprzez zastosowanie matrycowej oceny ryzyka opisanej w normie PN-N-18002. Przeprowadzone badanie przeprowadzono w celu określenia warunków pracy na stanowisku operatora maszyn CNC oraz uzyskania danych wymaganych do procesu doskonalenia przedsiębiorstwa w aspektach bezpieczeństwa. Uzyskane wyniki posłużą przedsiębiorstwu do dalszej analizy oraz szkoleń w zakresie podnoszenia świadomości pracowniczej oraz poprawy warunków pracy.
    The following article describes the process of occupational risk assessment at the position of a CNC machine operator in enterprise X. The assessment is carried out in order to determine the level of safety and the risks that an employee performing this work in a company may face. The analysis of working conditions was developed through the use of a matrix risk assessment described in the PN-N-18002 standard. The conducted research was carried out to determine the working conditions at the CNC machine operator's position and to obtain the data required for the process of improving the enterprise in the safety aspects. The obtained results will serve the company for further analysis and training in the field of employee awareness and improvement of working conditions.

Publikacja zawiera analizę pięciu zagrożeń, na stanowisku przemysłowym, wykonaną przy pomocy 4 metod oceny ryzyka zawodowego. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie różnic dokładności ocen ryzyka zawodowego wynikających ze specyfik zastosowanych metod oraz określenie najdokładniejszej metody, która okazała się być metoda wskaźnika poziomu ryzyka, z uwagi na największą liczbę badanych parametrów.
    The paper presents the problem of accuracy of determining the level of professional risk in industrial positions. The article focuses on methods of research concerning the analysis of potential threats connected with working as a hand welder. The publication contains an analysis of five hazards, on an industrial site, carried out with the use of 4 methods of risk assessment. The aim of the paper is to present differences in accuracy of occupational risk assessment resulting from the specifics of applied methods and to determine the most accurate method, which turned out to be the risk level indicator method, due to the largest number of examined parameters.

    Zdrowie i życie ludzkie jest najcenniejszą rzeczą jaką człowiek posiada, priorytet o który należy dbać nieustannie. Aby móc wykonać powyżej opisane działania, pierwszym krokiem jest identyfikacja zagrożeń występujących w przedsiębiorstwie wraz z przeprowadzeniem oceny ryzyka zawodowego. Podstawowym celem tego artykułu jest przedstawienie analizy bezpieczeństwa pracy w odlewni żeliwa na stanowisku zalewacza piecowego w oparciu o ocenę ryzyka zawodowego.
    Health and human life is the most valuable thing a person has, a priority to be constantly looked after. In the production process, man is the most important element, its safety should be the most important for the employer. Improvement of working environment conditions that pose a threat to the employee should be minimized so as not to pose any threat. If it is not possible to eliminate harmful, arduous and dangerous factors up to the minimum limit, personal protection measures help. These measures are designed to protect the employee in a comfortable manner, which results from their compatibility. In order to be able to perform the above described activities, the first step is to identify hazards occurring in the enterprise along with carrying out a risk assessment. The main purpose of this article is to present an analysis of work safety in a cast iron foundry on a furnace pouring stand based on a risk assessment.
