Opis:
Results of thermographic monitoring of exemplary power transformers are presented in the paper. Series of thermograms were taken. The areas on the transformer surfaces were analysed for higher temperature in aspects of: the electrical insulation condition of the transformer, the area on the surface, the season of the measurement. The thermograms indicated inefficient cooling for the transformers with deteriorated electrical insulation, especially during the summer season.

Opis:
Maintaining machinery in conditions capable of production requires certain level of maintenance which should be planned in order to avoid unnecessary downtiqmes. Technical diagnostics and monitoring provides data necessary for effective targeting, planning, and optimizing maintenance actions. This article describes a proposal of a system designed for monitoring various parameters on educational machine tools of EMCO Concept series, which are widely used at schools and universities and therefore, relatively easily accessible for research without any issues regarding confidentiality, common in industrial applications. The article describes a situation for which the device was designed, measured parameters, sensors its implementation and testing.

Analytical Intelligence is a set of methods and tools for acquisition and transformation of raw data into meaningful and useful information. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań tulei silnika tłokowego w aspekcie odporności na zacieranie. Jako parametry porównawcze dla początkowego procesu tarcia tłoka i cylindra oraz powierzchni zatartej przyjęto mikrotwardość i moduł Younga. Scharakteryzowano metodę badawczą oraz obiekt badań. Przedstawiono charakterystykę przebiegów czasowych zadawanego obciążenia próbki cylindra oraz wartości zagłębienia. Sporządzono wykres zarejestrowanej krzywej wgłębnikowania dla gładkiej i zatartej powierzchni cylindra przy nominalnej sile obciążającej 50 mN. Z przeprowadzonych badań sformułowano wnioski końcowe.
The paper presents test results of engine cylinder in a term of scuffing resistance. The microhardness and Young’s modulus were used to analysis of mechanical properties of new and seized surface of cylinders. The method and a object of tests were also characterized. The typical indentation curves as time dependent load and penetration depth changes were given. To analyze changes of microhardness vs penetration depth tests were carried out at wide load range 50-1000mN. Indentation results allow to formulate conclusions and determined seizure effect on mechanical properties of surface layers of tested steel, engine cylinders.

W pracy przedstawiono metodę analizy drgań wibroakustycznych transformatora w stanie ustalonym. Standardowe podejście do tego zagadnienia opiera się na analizowaniu widma częstotliwości wibracji rejestrowanego przy pomocy akcelerometru przytwierdzonego do kadzi transformatora. W celu poprawienia czytelności wyników pomiarów wibroakustycznych w artykule proponuje się metodę analizy względnego współczynnika zawartości częstotliwości harmonicznych h norm(f). Jak stwierdzono, na bazie przeprowadzonego eksperymentu, duże wartości hnorm w szerokim zakresie częstotliwości świadczą o odkształceniu uzwojeń i degradacji izolacji stałej.
The paper presents a method for vibroacoustic analysis of a transformer in the steady-state. The standard approach to this problem is based on analysis of the vibration frequency spectrum recorded with an accelerometer attached to the transformer tank. Four transformers (A, B, C and D) were tested with this method. The recorded vibration spectra are shown in Fig. 1. The analysis of the presented data may be ambi-guous, as there are not many differences in vibration spectra of the tested transformers. There are significant changes in some harmonic frequencies, but it is difficult to state whether the mechanical construction condition of e.g. transformer A varies from that of C (Fig. 1). To improve legibility of measurement results the paper suggests (in Section 3) the analysis method for the relative coefficient of harmonic frequency contents hnorm(f). On the basis of experiments (Figs. 2 and 3) one can state that high values of hnorm within the wide frequency range mean that windings are deformed and solid insulation is degraded.

In technical diagnostics of load-bearing tendons of bridge and building structures, vibration methods are popular due to simplicity, speed of results and low costs of their application. The aim of the research was to develop a method for measuring the load-bearing cables stress. The article presents the results of tests on the cable testing stand, which enable identification of the parameters of the cable dynamic model. In the research, a technique was applied consisting in impulse stimulation to vibrations of the tense steel cable and analysis of signals, which are a response of the cable to this excitation. Using the modal analysis method, the dependence of the frequency of various forms of the cable natural vibrations on the cable tensioning force was determined. Three types of cables were tested. The bending rigidity of the cable was determined. Using the modal analysis method as a reference method, the usefulness of a simpler method of evaluating cable natural frequency, was examined.

In the article authors presents results of study, which have on aim qualification of technical state of rolling bearings with vibroacoustics methods. Examined bearings were mounted in rollers of belt conveyor working in coalmine. Research was conducted after certain time of rollers’ operation. For analysis were used vibrations signals, recorded in laboratory, on special test stand. The basis of evaluations was changes in signals caused by damages and wear of bearings.

The study aims to evaluate angular positioning accuracy and repeatability of DMU 65 monoBLOCK numerically controlled machine tool. The measurements were carried out with XL-80 Laser Interferometer with XR20-W attachment. The measurements were conducted according to the standard PN-ISO230-2. Test methodology and measurement results analysis are presented in a form of figures and tables. The final part presents conclusions from the analysis.

Results of a project searching for objective, quantitative evaluation of postoperative wound healing in cardiosurgery are presented. We propose simple thermal models of the healing processes after cardiosurgery interventions as objective descriptors allowing classification of patients for extraction and following recovery at home or for prolonged treatment in a hospital. Classification of healing as the normal process or as a process with complications is possible based on temporal changes of proposed thermal descriptors.

W artykule opisano konstrukcję systemu diagnostycznego, przeznaczonego do obserwacji zachowań pszczół. Główna część artykułu zawiera ocenę możliwości wydobycia informacji z dźwięków wytwarzanych przez pszczoły. Celem badań jest rozpoznanie stanów rodziny pszczelej oraz ich klasyfikacja. Opisano proces tworzenia modeli dźwięków oraz redukcji ich wymiarów. Przedstawiono obrazy otrzymane w diagnostycznej przestrzeni obserwacji stanów. W części końcowej opisano proces badania wybranego strumienia dźwięków i podjęto próbę interpretacji otrzymanych wyników.
The design of a diagnostic system to observe the behavior of bees is described. The main part of the paper contains an assessment of the possibility of extracting information from sounds produced by bees. The aim of the study is to identify the states of colonies and their classification. It describes the processes modeling the sounds and reducing their size. Experimental images created in the diagnostic state space are shown. Finally, the process of testing a selected stream of sounds is outlined and an attempt to interpret the results is made.

The important role of coal in the global energy sector is unquestionable. Improving the efficiency of extraction of raw materials is one of the main tasks of which are committed to designers of modern mining machines. Therefore, you have increasing importance in the process of mining have support systems trouble-free operation of mining machines. At the KOMAG Institute of Mining Technology diagnostic system has been developed combine with the use of thermal imaging techniques. This is the first in the world this type of solution dedicated to working underground mines potentially explosive methane and / or coal dust. The article presents the results of prototype tests combine diagnostic system using a thermal imaging camera realized on a real object in the mine. They pointed out the advantages and disadvantages developed solutions and formulated appropriate proposals summarizing.

The article describes the topics related to selected components of the internal combustion engine, which are key from the point of view of operational diagnostics. The degree of wear, degradation, noticed damage or symptoms of deficiencies of selected elements or technological systems have an impact on the achieved operating parameters. The above phenomena also affect the economics of the device's operation and the possibility of its components failing.
W artykule opisano tematykę związaną z wybranymi elementami silnika spalinowego, które są kluczowymi z punku widzenia diagnostyki eksploatacyjnej. Stopień zużycia, degradacji, zauważone uszkodzenia lub objawy niedomagań wytypowanych poszczególnych elementów lub układów technologicznych mają wpływ na osiągane parametry eksploatacyjne. Powyższe zjawiska mają także wpływ na ekonomikę pracy urządzenia oraz możliwość awarii jego podzespołów.

W artykule zaprezentowano doświadczenia badawcze dotyczące opracowanej i rozwijanej w ITWL metodzie badawczej. Metodę tę nazwano FAM- C. Zdaniem autora, na podstawie kilkuletnich rozważań teoretycznych oraz doświadczeń laboratoryjnych i pomiarów na statkach powietrznych, metodą tą można skutecznie określać wielkość przekoszeń w połączeniach wielowypustowych. Jako przetwornik wykorzystana jest tu "etatowa" pradnica pokładowa. Wystarczy przyłączyć aparaturę diagnostyczną do dowolnego zacisku będącego pod napięciem, a diagnoza o stanie technicznym jego poszczególnych elementów może być postawiona w ciągu kilku minut. Opisano matematyczne zmiany chwilowej prędkości katowej wielowypustowych połączeń z montażową wadą przekoszenia. Ukazano możliwiść określenia kąta przekoszenia na podstawie obliczonej wysokości zbioru charakterystycznego otrzymanego metodą modulacji częstotliwości. Przedstawiono materiał badawczy otrzymany z badań laboratoryjnych zespołu napędowego LUZES-III, w którym rolę "prądnicy- obserwatora" pełniła lotnicza SGO-8.
In this paper has been presented method described scientifically in ITWL. This method named FAM-C (F - Frequency, M - Modulation, A - Alternating current, C- level of advanced method). The airborne alternator is used as a converter. It is sufficient to connect diagnostic equipment to any live terminal and a diagnosis concerning technical state of elements is possible in a a few minutes. Skew of splined coupling in an effect of assembly error or consumption process. In this connections changes of instantaneous angular velocity of splined coupling with skew disadvantage have been mathematically described. The possibility of calculation of skew angle on the base of characteristic pattern`s height obtained using frequency modulation method has been shown.
