Opis:
This article presents an experimental studies of an innovative solution for a system of two pneumatic cylinders with a synchronizing element, loaded with a force of different values. The aim of the research was to obtain the speed characteristics of two piston rods of pneumatic cylinders with the use of a synchronizing element. A comparative analysis of received characteristics was conducted and the criterion of the possibility of applying the synchronizing MZ_SYNCH element was adopted. The element for synchronizing the movement of two piston rods of pneumatic cylinders was called MZ_SYNCH for short. On the basis of the research results it was concluded that the system of two pneumatic actuators with the synchronizing element MZ_SYNCH can be used in rehabilitation devices for passive exercise of lower limbs.

Opis:
The aim of the article is to present an original method of speed control and simultaneous stroke of the piston rods of two pneumatic cylinders using potentiometric position transducers, pneumatic solenoid valves, properly scaled throttle-check valves, solenoid valves and a microcontroller with power modules for solenoid valves. Initial experimental studies of the control system for simultaneous displacement of two piston rods of pneumatic actuators were carried out. The purpose of the research was to obtain the characteristics of the displacement of the extension of two pneumatic drives. The obtained results were analyzed. The results of the measurements confirmed the possibility of applying the presented control to rehabilitation devices for passive exercises of the lower extremities. The advantage of the proposed control system is its reaction speed, which is a response to changes in operating conditions of a given actuator, such as: external disturbances, own resistance of the controlled device, frictional resistance or movement caused by the patient exercising on the rehabilitation device moved by these actuators.

Opis:
The article discusses issues related to virtual measurement systems and presents the results of comparative measurements of resistance and electric voltage measured with various measuring devices, including virtual NI Elvis systems. The accuracy and measurement errors were compared, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of the devices and methods used for the measurements. Moreover, a computer simulation of the measurements in the Multisim software was performed, and its results were compared with the actual indications of the meters.

Opis:
Changes in the resistance of single crystals of p-type conductivity silicon under the action of mechanical loading were investigated in this research. Also, non-irradiated and pre-irradiated X-rays experimental samples were studied. It was found that at small deformation values when they are at the initial stage of the action of elastic deformation, a section forms and increases, on which the resistance practically does not depend on the applied mechanical load. In irradiated crystals, at small deformation values, electron generation processes dominate, which then recombine with the main carriers – holes. The consequence of such processes is the appearance of a maximum increase in electrical resistance at the initial stage of elastic deformation of experimental samples irradiated with X-rays. Charge carrier generation processes begin to dominate with further deformation. Such processes occur as a result of the release of acceptor centers from other complex defects, which are destroyed during the deformation of the Si crystal and captured by mobile dislocations. Thus, the processes of generation of charge carriers prevail over the processes of gettering and, accordingly, a mechano-stimulated decrease in the electrical resistance of p-Si samples occurs.
