Opis:
This article is dedicated to the possibilities of using 3D scanning method for geometric parameter measurements of protective helmets and to the development of methodology for conducting such research. The basic requirements for helmets are related to its geometrical parameters. They are determined in the laboratory during the appropriate tests, and the results are used in the certification process. The method of determining such parameters used to date is based in most cases on the use of head models, linear gauges and calipers. For this reason, a complicated shape of the helmet shell and the construction of the harness pose considerable problems. To avoid such problems, and more importantly measurement errors, the possibility of using modern 3D laser scanning technology to measure the helmet geometry was verified.

Opis:
Noise measurement for the design of anti-noise measures is used as a tool to identify and evaluate the existing noise situation. The measurements are carried out in the vicinity of selected roads to demonstrate the need for the design of anti-noise measures or to assess the effectiveness of the measures. Where the measurements are performed for the design, detection and assessment of the effectiveness of a noise protection measure in relation to the protection of public health, such measurements shall be carried out by a person holding a Certificate of Professional Qualification for Qualitative and Quantitative Verification of Environmental Factors to assess their potential impact on health – noise measurement. The paper presents the modelling of the noise exposure using the infrared technology in the given area and the simulation of measures on the main road routes of the model.

Numerous experimental studies, including experiments performed by the authors, have shown that the part orientation during layer deposition has a very strong in-fluence on final strength of a product manufactured by additive Fused Deposition Technology. The paper presents the results of tensile, bending and impact strength tests performed on samples of various orientations, made out of ABS material using FDM technology. The results of these tests allowed discovering a unique phenomenon – with the changing orientation, not only the values of strength indexes change, but macroscopic material behavior under load as well. The transition between a “yield point” and “brittle” material usually happens in a certain range of orientation values, named a critical orientation by the authors. The paper indicates supposed ranges of critical orientation for various types of loads

W artykule przedstawiono możliwości wykorzystania elementów technologii internetowych w rozproszonych systemach pomiarowo-sterujących (RSPS). Zaprezentowano dedykowane serwery WWW instalowane po stronie obiektowej oraz przedstawiono technologię ich konfigurowania i tworzenia stron WWW. Wskazano na mozliwość realizacji RSPS, spełniających wymogi czasu rzeczywistego w sieciach z Ethernetem przemysłowym i ze stosem protokołowym TCP/IP. Przedstawiono architekturę typu "producent-konsument" oraz protokół NDDS do realizacji RSPS czasu rzeczywistego.
In the paper, current trends in development of distributed measurement - control (DMCS) systems are presented. Influence of Industrial Ethernet and Emmbedded Web Servers on creating new structure of DMCS is presented. Way of embedded Web Servers configuring and way of creating Web pages is outlined. Possible solutions of real-time issues in IP environment by means of PS architecture and NDDS protocol are described.

W artykule scharakteryzowano proces odlewania rotacyjnego tworzyw polimerowych. Information about rotational moulding have been presented in this article. Main principles of this technology and his development have been introduced. Types of rotational moulding machines have been characterized also with rotational moulding tools. The main applications have been introduced and the advantages and disadvantages of rotomoulding have been told over.

The paper presents the evolution of concrete recycling through the last years. It is based on scientific literature and provides the example of vanced technology of concrete recycling. Aggregate produced according classical technology requirements has a limited application in building dustry. The newest Japanese technologies create a wider range of its appli tions and allow one to receive the high quality aggregate, which is obtaii via grinding of mortar from original aggregate.

In industrial practice, hobs are manufactured and used. The problem boils down to the identification of a hob with defining its profile, which depends on many design and technological parameters (such as the grinding wheel size, profile, type and positioning during machining). This makes the basis for the correct execution and sharpening of the tool. The accuracy of the hob determines the quality of gear wheel teeth being shaped.
