    Opis:
    The objective of the work reported in the article was to analyse the influence of the uncertainty of estimating the values of parameters of selected mathematical models, built to describe the relations between the pedestrian throw distance and the launch velocity gained by the pedestrian in result of being struck by the front part of the vehicle body. Within the work, the impact of changes in the pedestrian launch angle on the pedestrian launch velocity was investigated and the problems connected with choosing the value of the coefficient of friction between pedestrian’s clothing and the road surface were shown. The analysis presented may be useful in the reconstruction of an accident where a motor vehicle ran into a pedestrian.
    Celem artykułu jest analiza wpływu niepewności szacowania wartości parametrów wybranych modeli matematycznych opisujących relacje między odległością odrzutu pieszego a prędkością jaką uzyskuje pieszy w wyniku uderzenia przednią częścią nadwozia. Badano wpływ zmian kąta odrzutu pieszego na prędkość jego odrzutu oraz przedstawiono problemy związane z wyborem wartości współczynnika tarcia ubrania pieszego o nawierzchnię drogi. Przedstawiona analiza może być przydatna w rekonstrukcji wypadku, w którym samochód najeżdża na pieszego.

    Opis:
    This manuscript is focused on the matter concerning the emissions of the greenhouse gases produced by the road freight transport mode. Those emissions influence the ozone layer structure and help to create the greenhouse impact causing the global warming, i.e. issues particularly related to the weather change aspects as well as extreme weather occurrences. In the first part of the paper, the calculation approaches, energy consumption examination as well as evaluation of emissions of the greenhouse gases created by the transport modes operation are performed by the EN 16258:2013 standard. The research chapter outlines the implementation of the approach technique to particular consignment on a specific transport section, while the sum of the energy consumption and greenhouse gases emissions production per pallet of goods weighing 1000 kg is specified. The resulting values form the fundamentals for declarations of energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. The proper and precise examinations of energy consumption and emissions production can help to identify the share of external costs for specific transport modes quite accurately. This ensures that such costs are fairly carried by the individual producers thereof.

    Opis:
    The article presents the methodology and results of the studies of forces in the steering rods in real traffic situations. The particular attention was paid to the drive through the roadside, which is lowered in relation to the roadway. Such a situation is dangerous due to the road safety, because when returning from the roadside to the roadway, the torque of the steering wheel, regulated by the power steering, is so small that it helps the driver to perform too great turn of the steering wheel, so that the car can be found on the lane of the opposite direction or it can leave the roadway. The aim of this paper was to identify the distribution of forces in the rods and to propose suitable reversing of the power steering system with the use of these forces.
    W artykule przedstawiono metodykę i wyniki badań sił w drążkach kierowniczych, w rzeczywistych sytuacjach drogowych. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na przejazd przez obniżone względem jezdni pobocze gruntowe. Sytuacja taka jest groźna z punktu widzenia bezpieczeństwa ruchu drogowego, ponieważ przy powrocie z pobocza na jezdnię moment na kierownicy, regulowany przez wspomaganie, jest na tyle mały, że ułatwia kierowcy wykonanie zbyt dużego obrotu kierownicą, wskutek czego samochód może się znaleźć na pasie do jazdy w przeciwnym kierunku lub opuścić jezdnię. Celem pracy była identyfikacja rozkładu sił w drążkach i zaproponowanie odpowiedniego przesterowania układu wspomagania przy wykorzystaniu tych sił.
