Opis:
A new concept of the multicriteria fuzzy trading system using the technical analysis is proposed. The existing trading systems use different indicators of the technical analysis and generate buy or sell signal only when assumed conditions for a given indicator are satisfied. The information presented to the trader – decision maker is binary. The decision maker obtains a signal or no. In comparison to the existing traditional systems called as crisp, the proposed system treats all considered indicators jointly using the multicriteria approach and the binary information is extended with the use of the fuzzy approach. Currency pairs are considered as variants in the multicriteria space in which criteria refer to different technical indicators. The introduced domination relation allows generating the most efficient, non‐dominated (Pareto optimal) variants in the space. An algorithm generated these non-dominated variants is proposed. It is implemented in a computer‐based system assuring the sovereignty of the decision maker. We compare the proposed system with the traditional crisp trading system. It is made experimentally on different sets of real‐world data for three different types of trading: short‐term, medium and long‐term trading. The achieved results show the computational efficiency of the proposed system. The proposed approach is more robust and flexible than the traditional crisp approach. The set of variants derived for the decision maker in the case of the proposed approach includes only non‐dominated variants, what is not possible in the case of the traditional crisp approach. The reservation point and its impact on the overall results are measured with the use of the sensitivity analysis.

Opis:
The research applications of fuzzy logic have always been multidisciplinary in nature due to its ability in handling vagueness and imprecision. This paper presents an analytical study in the role of fuzzy logic in the area of metaheuristics using Web of Science (WoS) as the data source. In this case, 178 research papers are extracted from it in the time span of 1989-2016. This paper analyzes various aspects of a research publication in a scientometric manner. The top cited research papers, country wise contribution, topmost organizations, top research areas, top source titles, control terms and WoS categories are analyzed. Also, the top 3 fuzzy evolutionary algorithms are extracted and their top research papers are mentioned along with their topmost research domain. Since neuro fuzzy logic poses feasible options for solving numerous research problems, hence a section is also included by the authors to present an analytical study regarding research in it. Overall, this study helps in evaluating the recent research patterns in the field of fuzzy metaheuristics along with envisioning the future trends for the same. While on one hand this helps in providing a new path to the researchers who are beginners in this field as they can start exploring it through the analysis mentioned here, on the other hand it provides an insight to professional researchers too who can dig a little deeper in this field using knowledge from this study.

Opis:
In the paper the problem of preservation of properties of fuzzy relations during aggregation process is considered. It means that properties of fuzzy relations R1, … , R2 on a set X are compared with properties of the aggregated fuzzy relation RF = F(R1, … , R2), where R is a function of the type F ∶ [0, 1]n → [0, 1]. There are discussed α-properties (which may be called graded properties - to some grade R) as reflexivity, irreflexivity, symmetry, asymmetry, antisymmetry, connectedness and transitivity, where α ∈ [0, 1]. Fuzzy relations with a given graded property are analyzed (there may be diverse grades of the same property) and the obtained grade of the aggregated fuzzy relation is provided. There is also discussed the „converse” problem. Namely, relation RF = F(R1, … , Rn) is assumed to have a graded property and the properties of relations R1, … , Rn are examined (possibly with some assumptions on F). Presented here considerations have possible applications in decision making algorithms. This is why interpretation of the considered graded properties and possible potential in decision making is presented.

Opis:
The averaging aggregation operators are defined and some interesting properties are derived. Moreover, we have extended concave and convex property. The main results concerning aggregation of generalized quasiconcave and quasiconvex functions are presented and some their properties are derived and discussed. The class of concavity and convexity of two variable aggregation operators that preserve these properties are studied.

Opis:
In this article, the one DOF robot manipulator control is assessed through second type robust fuzzy-adaptive controller. The objective is to obtain a tracking path with appropriate accuracy. The stability of the closed loop system is verified through Lyapunov stability theory and the efficiency of tracking is analyzed subject to the constraints and uncertainty. In order to design the fuzzy controller a set of if-then fuzzy rules are considered which describe the system input-output behavior. Simulation and the results of the experiments on the one DOF robots indicate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Opis:
This paper presents a new approach in the field of trajectory tracking for nonholonomic mobile robot in presence of disturbances. The proposed control design is constructed by a kinematic controller, based on PD sliding surface using fuzzy sliding mode for the angular and linear velocities disturbances, in order to tend asymptotically the robot posture error to zero. Thereafter a dynamic controller is presented using as a sliding surface design, a fast terminal function (FTF) whose parameters are generated by a genetic algorithm in order to converge the velocity errors to zero in finite time and guarantee the asymptotic stability of the system using a Lyapunov candidate. The elaborated simulation works in the case of different trajectories confirm the robustness of the proposed approach.
