FPGA control - Opis:
- This paper presents an inductive Contactless Power Supply (CPS) system for robots and manipulators. The energy is transmitted using rotatable transformer with adjustable air gap and power converter. To minimize total losses of the system a series resonant circuit is used. It ensures zero current switching (ZVS) condition for MOSFET power transistors. The controller and protection are implemented in FPGA system. The resonant frequency is adjusted by extreme regulator, which follows instantaneous value of primary peak current. Some simulated and experimental results, which illustrate operation of developed 3 kW laboratory model, are presented.
