    The article deals with the issue of employees' participation in the security management system in an enterprise. The issue of participation was presented as well as empirical studies illustrating the problem of the study. The benefits from the creative participation of employees in a safety management system were also shown. It was stated that an employee’s participation in specific areas of business management is important and that it is a desirable direction in the development of the employees' staff and displaying joint responsibility for the workplace. The research was carried out in five enterprises engaged in the business of construction and renovation activities. The surveyed employees were employed in various positions and at various organizational levels, they took part in the survey and in individual interviews. Questions from the first part of the questionnaire generally concerned issues related to occupational health and safety. The second part concerned issues directly related to the safety management system as well as the creativity and participation of employees in improving work safety in the surveyed enterprise. Empirical studies have shown that some of the surveyed employees have a rather passive attitude towards systemic issues. The article uses the approach that puts human events in the epicenter as one of the most important drivers of changes taking place in enterprises. In order to further improve the functioning of the implemented and maintained systems, enterprises have created their own set of practiced forms of employee participation.

    The aim of the paper is to present the philosophy of Lean Management as an instrument of improving sustainable management of enterprises. The article presents the origins, characteristics of the broadly understood concept of Lean Management and describes the idea of Sustainable Development (SD). At the same time implications for the application and development of the instruments which operationalize the assumptions of SD at the level of enterprises are discussed. The paper specifies those areas of functioning of contemporary companies in which Lean Management can be implemented and compares them with the features of traditional management in particular subjects.
    Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie filozofii Lean Management jako instrumentu zrównoważonego zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem. Artykuł podejmując szeroko rozumianą tematykę Lean Management, przedstawia jej genezę, charakterystykę oraz opisuje ogólne założenia koncepcji Zrównoważonego Rozwoju (ZR). Jednocześnie wskazuje implikacje dla stosowania i poszukiwania instrumentów operacjonalizacji założeń ZR na poziomie przedsiębiorstwa. Określa także w jakich obszarach funkcjonowania współczesnej firmy metoda Lean znajduje swe zastosowanie oraz zestawia jej cechy z tradycyjnym sposobem zarządzania podmiotem gospodarczym.

    The possibilities of using cognitive technologies in the organization of systematic industrial enterprise management are described in the article. Strategic links are defined in the development of a system of stochastic models of enterprise management based on artificial intelligence. The possibility of introduction of the Perceptron model in the industrial enterprise management with the purpose of identification of "bottlenecks" in the functionality of business activity and improvement of procedures of decision-making in the framework of creation of the program of development and technical re-equipment of the enterprise is proven. The authors offered an organizational and economic mechanism of operation of an industrial enterprise, which includes new means of implementation of managerial actions through the use of a matrix of assessment of the level of implementation of cognitive technologies. The method of determining priority directions for the implementation of cognitive technologies at an enterprise was developed based on the results of the assessment of the depth of penetration of cognitive technologies and the result obtained from their implementation, which additionally takes into account the resource ratio of the implemented technologies defined as the ratio of estimates of the actual level of competencies to what is needed to work with new cognitive technologies, which allows to obtain the planned economic and organizational effect.

    The purpose of the paper is to develop a model for managing the motivation of managers and ensure its effectiveness. The principles of formation of management model of managers’ work motivation which correspond to the universal system approach to management model of managers’ work motivation and define its basic functions are outlined: a) goal setting, b) assessment and forecasting of the state and efficiency, c) development and decision making, d) planning, e) organizational, f) communication and subordination, g) regulation of the management model of motivation of managers, h) control. The management model of managers’ work motivation of (MMMWM) is formalized in the form of a structural-logical scheme based on a systematic approach and decomposition, which reflects the interaction of subject and object in the process of forming and implementing a system of motivation of managers at the enterprise. The factors for achieving the set goals have been formed, which are divided into internal and external motivators for managing managers’ work motivation. The management model of managers’ work motivation which is presented by the following subsystems is offered: "X" – target subsystem (the management process of managers’ work motivation), "Y" – providing subsystem (factors of rational achievement of the goals), "XY" – providing subsystem (regulatory legal acts, resources), "Z" – management subsystem (reflects the implementation of the general functions of management work motivation on the basis of experience), which are characterized by parameters, indicators, criteria for managing the motivation of managers. According to the method of linear multiple regression, a system of equations was constructed to describe the economic-mathematical model of management motivation at oil and gas enterprises, which after the repeated experiments provided diagnostics of indicators before, during and after the implementation of management motivation model.

    The research problem raised in the paper concerns materials management of mining enterprises. It is an important area of activity in these enterprises, mainly due to the fact that the cost of materials consumption is, after the personnel cost, the second position in the cost structure in terms of value. In order to conduct the mining works planned in an efficient way, it is necessary to provide materials supply as well as to prepare them and transfer to production. It can only be achieved in the way of appropriate planning, which includes the division into product range and time periods. The way of planning should be adjusted to the specific conditions and the character of consumption, as well as link those with an operational production plan. Although a great number of publications on planning methods can be found, not many of them refer to the specificity of mining production processes, especially material requirements planning. The objective of this paper is to present the theoretical assumptions of the material requirements planning process and the practical aspects of this process in the operating activity of mining enterprises. The paper is of theoretical and cognitive study character. The research was based on a systematic review method - systematic literature review, supplemented with the analysis of internal documents and programs used in materials management of mining enterprises.

    W artykule przedstawiono problem zarządzania hałasem generowanego przez przedsiębiorstwo podczas realizowanych procesów w aspekcie zarządzania środowiskowego w ramach strategii rozwoju firmy. Zaprezentowano emisję hałasu przez przedsiębiorstwo, drogi jego rozprzestrzeniania się hałasu zarówno w środowisku zewnętrznym jak i wewnętrznym zakładu. Kwestie organizacyjne i prawne w zakresie emisji hałasu przez zakład zostały również omówione. Zidentyfikowano problemem, związany z oceną klimatu akustycznego przedsiębiorstwa jakim jest brak ciągłej i kompleksowej analizy generowanego hałasu. Został on przedstawiony w dwóch podejściach systemowych, jako hałas emitowany w zewnętrznym otoczeniu firmy i hałas emitowany wewnątrz zakładu, obejmujący stanowiska pracy i ocenę maszyn i urządzeń. Do ciągłego monitorowania, analizy i oceny generowanego przez przedsiębiorstwo hałasu zaproponowano holistyczne algorytmy, ułatwiające zarządzanie hałasem w przedsiębiorstwie. Wykazano potrzebę wdrażania map hałasu, jako efektywnego narzędzia zarządzania tym aspektem środowiska.
    The article presents the problem of noise management generated by the company during the realized processes in the aspect of environmental management as part of the company's development strategy. The main issues of noise generation and its spread outside and inside of the plant have been discussed. Organizational and legal issues have been mentioned in terms of noise emission by the plant. A problem in the enterprise was identified, correlated to the lack of continuous and comprehensive analysis of the generated noise. The noise generated by the plant was presented in two system approaches, as a noise emitted to the outside environment of the company and to the noise emitted inside the plant including workplaces and machinery and equipment. An holistic algorithm for continuous monitoring, analysis and evaluation of noise generation was proposed. This approach indicates the need implementing the noise maps as a tool to help with noise management.

    The review of definitions allows to state that knowledge management in enterprises is a complex, multi-aspect process requiring the implementation of a number of interrelated mechanisms and instruments. Sharing knowledge can increase employee productivity, team performance and the ability to transform diversity into creativity and organizational innovation. Sharing of knowledge in the enterprise should be implemented both in a formal and informal way and be supported by appropriate communication mechanisms, employee exchange programs, job rotation, mentoring relations, techniques Only a well-constructed, implemented and modified system can ensure achieving the intended goals related, among other things, to ensuring the proper functioning of quality assurance mechanisms. and tools for assessing teamwork, a z system promoting creativity and cooperation. The main purpose of the publication is to present the results of research conducted on a sample of 22 enterprises regarding the analysis of the extent of enterprises' use of knowledge and human capital potential to improve the quality management. The research focused mainly on the impact of selected elements of management of knowledge and human capital on the level of employee awareness, as well as the number and type of non-compliance of products. The study used a questionnaire and statistical analysis of data from manufacturing processes.

    The paper focuses on Customer Relationship Management (CRM), based on latest national and international studies of the subject. The goal of the paper is to identify how the selected companies that operate in Slovakia understand the concept of CRM and to what degree they actively use it. They wanted to focus on a deeper analysis and decided to use in our orientation and evaluative research also a different approach, such as collaboration with international experts.     Nowadays innovations became the most important element of the country’s economic development, since they provide a qualitative increase in the efficiency of processes or end production demanded by the market. In this article, the innovation of processes, viz. the processes of logistic management of the production-economic organization is proposed. Innovations in logistics management, as a direction of logistics activity improvement provide the development of new tools (methods, criteria, indices) in methodological logistics’ groundwork, as well as improving the mechanism for the formation and functioning of micro- and macro-logistic systems. The aim of the research is to develop scientific and methodological recommendations for the application of logistics management innovations that involve designing the logistics system through the improvement of the enterprise’s organizational structure as an element of the economic macro environment. Logistic system designing approach is suggested, that anticipates an enterprise’s organizational structure formation under the process-matrix principle (unification of functional and process management approaches) and the establishment of the effective enterprise’s logistic service that plays the role of coordinator and integrator of its business-processes. Efficient organization structure formation, that provides logistics approach implementation in practical enterprises’ activity is grounded by authors. The result of the innovations in logistics management appliance is effective logistic system’s design, in which the coordinated material, informational and financial flows motion is carried out. In the result, it ensures efficient enterprise’s business-processes functioning and organic improvement of its organizational structure.

    W publikacji zaprezentowano wyniki badań prowadzonych w małych przedsiębiorstwach produkcyjnych i usługowych o ugruntowanym systemie zarządzania jakością. Celem badań była ocena skuteczności wdrożonego systemu jakości rozumianej jako zdolność do osiągania założonych celów. Badania obejmowały samoocenę przeprowadzoną przez zarząd firmy lub pełnomocnika ds. systemów jakości. Uzyskane z badania ankietowego wyniki zostały zweryfikowane w formie audytu trzeciej strony. Badania uzupełniono testami przeprowadzonymi wśród zarządu i pełnomocników, których celem było ocena takich cech osobowościowych jak umiejętność komunikowania się, uczenia innych, porozumiewania się i wprowadzania zmian.

    In this study, Knowledge-Based View (KBV) and Theory of Technology in a Generic Customer Knowledge Management (CKM) Framework were assimilated to demonstrate the Organizational, Human and Technological antecedent factors that enable CKM processes to improve software product quality. A Theoretical CKM Framework was developed by extracting Human, Organizational and Technological factors from the literature, then, the “Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution” (TOPSIS) Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method was applied to find the importance level of factors to CKM development in software companies. The weight and priority of factors were determined by 31 experts in enterprise software development companies. The results show that, from an expert viewpoint, CKM antecedent factors are categorized into high priority and low priority groups. Organizational factors such as “Customer Involvement”, “Customer-Centric Culture” and “CKM Strategy Development” are high priority.

Szczególną uwagę poświęcono zawartym w systemie SZYK2 nowoczesnym narzędziom dla menedżerów, w tym analiz i raportów opartych o hurtownię danych oraz metod natychmiastowego dostępu do bieżących informacji zarządczych z wykorzystaniem portali i kokpitów menedżerskich.
    The article presents the mechanisms for systemic management of production assets and material inventory and discusses a number of important aspects of the SZYK2 IT system supporting management of a mining enterprise and its functionality for financial management and multi-factor analysis of economic and financial parameters of an enterprise.
