Opis:
The objective of the study described the importance of L-asparaginase and its importance in the field of medicine. Different types of enzymes are produced based on the adaptation to the environment where the living organisms live to tune the metabolic pathways according to their adapted changes. The enzymes present in various organs are produced by many cell types in multicellular organisms. Except ribosomes all other known enzymes are proteinaceous in nature. L-asparaginase is a potential therapeutic agent for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and chronic myelogenous leukemia which is approved by FDA & WHO. L-asparaginase catalyzes the deamination of L-asparagine to L-aspartic acid & ammonia. Unlike normal cells, malignant cells require large amount of L-asparagine for protein synthesis and cell division. From this background the present review is an effort to gather the information on the mechanism, sources, molecular details and application of L-asparaginase enzyme.

Opis:
In recent decades, a lot of interest in pharmaceutical industries to focus on ‘Phytochemicals’ and healthcare sectors to concentrate ‘Phytonutrients’ deriveed from natural products of plant origin. Solanum incanum L. is a roadside weed shrub and its ripened berries were treating various ailments. In the current decade, an attempted have been made for screening of Phytochemical and Phytonutrients values. Its leaves, stem, root and fruits of ethanolic extract were evaluated. In percent phytochemical Solanum incanum contains alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, phenols, steroids and triterpenoids. The maximum amount of Phytochemicals and Phytonutrients (Na, Al, Mg, Mn, P, Cl, K, Ca, Fe, Cu and Zn) was recorded in fruit when compared with leaves, stem and root. They were analyze for their basic proximate composition, Vitamin, mineral elemental compositions and phytochemical profile to the results of this study suggested that, Plants play with altering environmental conditions to accalamize to these changes of its archetypes variations. This adaptation is accompanied by an unusual phytochemical diversity, especially for Phytochemicals and Phytonutrients.

Opis:
The study was carried out to evaluate the performance of five different radish varieties (HRD RAD 001, HRD RAD 002, HRD RAD 003, HRD RAD 004 and HRD RAD 005) for growth and yield performance. The experiment was set up in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD), with four replications at 30 cm X 15 cm of spacing, with a plot size of 3.15 m2 at Agricultural Research Station (ARS), Pakhribas, Dhankuta, during 2014 and 2015. The average performance of both years revealed that the radish genotypes HRD RAD 002 (37.91 t/ha), followed by HRD RAD 004 (28.91t/ha) were found as promising - with better adoptability, higher root weight, root length and yield. Hence, HRD RAD 002 and HRD RAD 004 could successfully be grown in the conditions found in the Eastern mid-hills area.

Opis:
India is an immense medicinal plant repository, used in traditional medical treatments. The use of herbal medicine is growing day by day due to toxicity and allopathic drug effects. About 90 percent of the phytochemicals marketed come from wild resources and over 120 major phytochemistry come from plants. Aegle marmelos leaves contained π-sitosterol, aegelin, lupeol, rutin, marmesinine, flavone, glycoside, Oisopentenyl halfordiol, marmeline, and phenylethyl cinnamides. The additional growth promoters show its effect on tissue culture of plant.
