    Opis:
    I have identified at least three chronological layers of Germanisms in Poznań urban sub-dialects. The first one encompasses what is left in the Poznań sub-dialect from Polish literary language, or Polish (Wielkopolska) folk sub-dialects dating back to pre-Polish times. The second layer includes archaisms in Polish literary language. The third layer comprises words borrowed by the Poznań sub-dialect from German in the 19th and the early 20th centuries (the Partitions of Poland). Theoretically, another, even younger layer should be expected: the aftermath of the war period (1939-1945). However, further research is required in this respect.
    Autor wyróżnia w gwarze miejskiej Poznania przynajmniej trzy warstwy chronologiczne germanizmów. Pierwsza obejmuje to, co z polskiego języka literackiego bądź z polskich (wielkopolskich) gwar ludowych pozostało w gwarze poznańskiej, a co swoim wiekiem sięga czasów przedpolskich. Druga warstwa, to archaizmy polskiego języka literackiego. Trzecia warstwa to wyrazy, które przenikały do gwary miejskiej Poznania z języka niemieckiego w XIX i na początku XX wieku (okres zaborów). Teoretycznie można by się spodziewać jeszcze jednej, najpóźniejszej warstwy – spadku po latach 1939–1945. Potrzebne są jednak w tym zakresie dalsze badania.

    W artykule zostały omówione – głównie pod kątem niemieckich zapożyczeń leksykalnych – materiały rękopiśmienne z okresu I wojny światowej. Germanizmy zawarte w listach Stanisława Dudzińskiego (chłopa wielkopolskiego) wyraźnie dzielą się na dwie grupy ze względu na sposób zapożyczenia: nabytych drogą oficjalną (obcy język urzędowy), przeniesionych poprzez naturalne kontakty społeczne. Analizowane germanizmy często dostosowywane są przez autora listów do polskiego systemu językowego. Wyraźnie uwidacznia się problem interferencji językowej – w badanych materiałach mamy przykład przemieszania języka polskiego (odmiana regionalna – mówiona w formie zapisanej) z językiem niemieckim (odmiana oficjalna).
    The article discusses – mainly for German lexical borrowings – manuscripts from the period of the First World War. Germanisms contained in the letters Stanislaus Dudzinski (countryman from Great Poland) clearly divided into two groups because of the way borrowings: acquired through official channels (foreign language official), transferred through natural social contacts. Analyzed Germanisms often be adjusted by the author of the letters to the Polish language system. Clearly exposes the problem of linguistic interference – in the studied materials is an example of mixing Polish language (regional variation – narrated in the form of saved) with German (official variant).

    The purpose of the article was to determine the viability of German loanwords (prototypically associated with Poznań urban dialect) in the language of the inhabitants of the city in the XXI century. The questionnaire, which is the basis to gather research material, contained three commands – one closed and two open. It covered 120 respondents in three age groups. For general conclusion emerging from the results of a questionnaire study can be considered that germanisms are still alive in the lexis of Poznań dialect. Many of germanisms of Poznań dialect are still well-known by all generations, although knowledge of this vocabulary is often only passive. Very few of the respondents admit to use it. Residents of the city are aware of the regional marked of many lexemes, and their German etymology – isolated pointed up to 112 different germanisms of Poznań dialect.The attitude of Poznań residents to German loans in their language is rather positive. They note their recessive nature of the cross-generational, although they acknowledge (regardless of age) that there are still alot of them. They are also aware of when and with what communication intention they can be used

    Przedstawione niemieckie pożyczki leksykalne występują w ankietach zbieranych do Niemieckiego atlasu językowego, które wypełniono na obszarze Prus Wschodnich (ponad 500 miejscowości) w latach 80. XIX w. Część z nich stanowi zbiór wyrazów znanych polszczyźnie ogólnej. Pewne nazwy zostały zapożyczone i poddane różnym procesom adaptacyjnym (fonetycznym i ortograficznym) do systemu polskiego i charakteryzują dość duży obszar gwar północnopolskich (np. wurst, gbur, klejdy). Kilka z tych pożyczek to okazjonalizmy, zapisane na użytek kwestionariusza, będące interesującym przykładem dostosowywania wyrazów obcych do innego systemu językowego. Omawiany rejestr nazw pokazuje stosunkowo nieliczne pożyczki leksykalne pochodzenia niemieckiego, które przeniknęły do gwar mazurskich.
    The German lexical borrowings presented in the article appear in the questionnaires collected for the German linguistic atlas, filled in the area of East Prussia (over 500 localities) in the eighties of the 19th century. Some of them constitute a set of words known in the general Polish language. Some names were borrowed and underwent various adaptation processes (both phonetic and orthographic) into the Polish system and they characterize quite a large area of the North Polish dialects (e.g. wurst, gbur, klejdy). Some of those borrowings are occasionalism written for the use of the questionnaire, being an interesting example of foreign words adapting to a different language regime. The register of names discussed in the article presents relatively small number of lexical borrowings of German origin which penetrated into the Masurian dialects.

    Opis:
    The paper deals with some contact phenomena in grammar typical of the ascendant dialects, which were inherited by two Czech and one Polish immigrant patois spoken in Russia. The Czech patois are located in several villages near Novorossiysk and Anapa in the Northern Caucasus and also in the Middle Irtysh area of the Omsk Region, the Polish (Masovian) one in the Krasnoyarsk Region and in the Republic of Khakassia.These patois show relatively good preservation of their original dialectal systems, including not only old lexical borrowings from German, but also grammatical features that appeared as a result of the longtime contact of West Slavic dialects with German in central and northeastern Europe. At the same time the systems of the examined patois as a whole, as well as their elements of contact origin, have been strongly influenced by their East Slavic language surroundings, most of all by the Russian language. The author concludes that set and functioning of the analyzed borrowed units or structures and contact features in Czech and Polish dialects although partly similar, differed somewhat. It depended on the speakers’ relative tendencies to personalize and give detail; it also depended on the features sentence construction observed in both languages.
