Opis:: У статті описано методологію та методи дослідження інтонації діалектного мовлення. Закцентовано на проблемах, що постають перед експлораторами під час запису матеріалу, йдеться зокрема про технічні характеристики звукових файлів, питання підбору інформантів, можливості опрацювання зашумлених текстів. Джерельну базу формують власні записи автора, а також аудіозаписи з Українського діалектного фонофонду Інституту української мови НАН України. Особливу увагу приділено членуванню діалектної оповіді на окремі сегменти. Засвідчено відмінності між реальним звучанням діалектного мовлення і його сприйняттям під час слухового аналізу. Наголошено на необхідності використання спеціальних програм для аналізу звукового мовлення.
The phonetics of Ukrainian dialects has long been an object of analyses. Researchers describe the structural originality of the speech, establishing the composition of the segmental units in different dialects, their significance to the phonological system of the dialect, systematizing knowledge about the manifestations and relationships of phonemes. In Ukrainian linguistics, dialect intonation remains unexplored. The reasons included the complexity of the methodology and the methodology of the analysis (from recording speech material to its direct processing).As the title implies, the article describes the choice of methods and methodologies for research into the intonation of dialectal speech. Much attention has been devoted to the recording of speech, its technical descriptions and the selection of the informants. The article focuses on the features of segmentation ofdialectal speech. This study shows the difference between a real sound file and its processing during an auditory analysis. The need is stressed to employ special software for analysing verbal material

Opis:: Фразеологія як наука має вагомі напрацювання і здобутки, що підтверджено чималою кількістю робіт дослідників, присвячених проблемам природи та семантики фразем, що функціонують в українському говірковому мовленні. У статті проаналізовано лексикографічні праці й атласи, напрями розв’язання теоретичних проблем у наукових дослідженнях, вибір та обґрунтування методології та принципів у систематизації та описі фразенімікону українського діалектного мовлення; зауважено на значенні комплексних досліджень, у яких поєднано структурно-значеннєвий аналіз фразеологізмів, ураховано їхні функціональні особливості та семантичну організацію, контекстуальні можливості. Описано методику автокоментування для записів та аналізу фразеологізмів говірок, що уможливить швидше та повніше наповнення емпіричної бази української мови; обґрунтовано й апробовано прийоми текстозорієнтованого опрацювання народної фразеології
Phraseology as a science has significant developments and achievements, which is confirmed by a considerable number of works by researchers devoted to the problems of the nature and semantics of phrasemes that function in Ukrainian dialect speech.In the article lexicographic works and atlases, directions for solving theoretical problems in scientific research, the choice and justification of methodology and principles in the systematization and description of the phraseological units of Ukrainian dialect speech have been analyzed; the importance of complex studies, which combine structural and semantic analysis of phraseological units has been noted, their functional features and semantic organization, contextual possibilities have been taken into account.The method of auto-commenting for records and analysis of phraseological units of dialects is described, that will enable faster and more complete filling of the empirical base of the Ukrainian language; methods of text-oriented processing of folk phraseology are substantiated and tested.

Opis:: У статті актуалізоване одне з невідкладних завдань слов᾽янської лінгвістики початку XXI ст. – лексикографічне опрацювання діалектної мови. Представлено доробок українського діалектного словникарства за перші десятиліття XXI ст., акцентувано увагу на важливості діалектного тексту як джерела для укладання регіонального словника. Указано на переваги такого підґрунтя, специфіку представлення народної лексики, її паспортизації за говірками та ареалами поширення в досліджуваному континуумі. Запропонований підхід уможливлює докладний опис реалій, вирізнення їхніх особливостей, репрезентованих у диференціації назв, засвідчує в реєстрових словах специфіку наголошування, регулярні та спорадичні зміни голосних і приголосних звуків. У спонтанних текстах мовці більш повно й об᾽єктивно розкривають семантику лексем, доповнючи їхнє тлумачення новими значеннями в мікротекстах, що перетворює словник в гіпертекст, веде читача від одного реєстрового слова до іншого, містить етнокультурну інформацію, виявляючи своєрідне бачення реалій діалектоносієм.
The article states that in early 21st century, Slavic linguistics lexicographic arrangement of the dialect appeared to preserve the original lexical stock shaped through a national outlook and mentality, as well as cultural values of the creative Ukrainian nation. The article is aimed to represent the dialect stock of the Ukrainian lexicography in the early 21st century, as well as to stress the importance of a dialect text as a source for arranging a regional dictionary. That has accentuated the dialect text proper as a source for arranging a regional dictionary that includes specially represented patois lexical units, their registration according to the dialects and their expansion in the area under consideration. The approach enables a detailed description of the status quo, its peculiar features represented in the differentiated names, as well as peculiar stressed forms, regular and sporadic shifts in vowels and consonants in the registered lexical units. In spontaneous speech, lexical meanings are more complete and more objectively revealed, being largely enforced by new meanings in microtexts. The authors have proved that arranging dictionaries by meaningful texts complete reveals the registered units, as well as regional and local ones in spontaneous speech in various word-building, phonetic and grammatical variants in the dialect aspect. Broad comments provided for the entries are taken from dialect texts and ensure progress to a next narrative fragment promoting a way to learning other linguistic units characteristic of dialects. The dictionary grows into a hypertext, leading the reader from one registered unit to another, providing ethnic linguistic information while revealing a specific status quo interpreted by dialect speakers.

Opis:: У статті узагальнено основні передумови, які визначають можливість потенційного використання фольклорно-етнографічних джерел для розв’язання лінгвістичних, зокрема діалектологічних, проблем. Проаналізовано такі позатекстові чинники, як: методику записування фольклорних текстів, зокрема точність відтворення діалектних особливостей у різних фольклорно-етнографічних виданнях; можливість точного ареального співвіднесення фольклорного твору з місцем його творення / побутування; наявність додаткової позалінгвальної інформації, важливої для лінгвіста-дослідника. Розглянуто текстотвірні фактори, які накладають обмеження на використання фольклорних текстів у діалектологічних дослідженнях, як-от віршована / прозова форма твору; жанротвірні характеристики тощо.
The article summarizes the main prerequisites for potential use of folklore and ethnographic sources for solving linguistic problems, including dialectological ones. Attention is given to records of Ukrainian folklore – from the late 19th century to the latest ones. The non-textual factors like methods of recording folklore texts are analysed, in particular the accuracy of reproducing dialectal features in various folklore and ethnographic publications, the possibility of an exact correlation between the area of a folklore work and the place of its creation/ existence and the availability of additional extralingual information, which is of importance to a linguist. Consideration is given to the text-forming factors that impose some restrictions on using folklore texts in dialectological research (like the poetic/prose form of a work, genre forming characteristics, etc.). Emphasis has been placed on the special value of folklore sources to the identification of archaic linguistic units and phenomena, the possibility of using archaeological methods in the study of folklore texts.
