Opis:: The metallurgical enterprises are a major source of large-tonnage industrial wastes containing valued components. A significant discrepancy between the volumes of waste formations and its utilisation leads to the necessity of large-scale sludge dumping. The article describes a recycling method for belite sludge that is the waste of the alumina production from nepheline concentrate. The physical and chemical properties of belite sludge were analysed and the conclusions about the possibility and outlook of its using as an ameliorant were drown. The main results show that adding the belite sludge to acidic soils provides a certain positive effect. The main conclusions allow to say that belite sludges are an ecologically safe substance that can be used as a liming material for acidic soils.

Opis:: The article presents the data based on the long-term observations of the Lomonosov mine tailing storage impact on the natural environment. The study of the chemical, mineral and phase composition of waste, sampled at the tailing site, was carried out. It was determined that the ore beneficiation waste in the Lomonosov deposit is generally represented by the minerals of the smectite group. According to the X-ray diffraction analysis data, the beneficiation wastes are a bi-mineral mixture of montmorillonite and talc with pyrophyllite impurities. The wastes of this composition are potentially magnesia raw materials used in the production of construction materials, such as cement, ceramic bricks, etc. Experimental studies have justified the use of the method of wastes recycling based on the roasting of the ore beneficiation tailings, with the number of process options, depending on the temperature regimes and the exposure time.

Opis:: Powstające w każdym sektorze gospodarki odpady, stanowią uciążliwość dla prawidłowego jego funkcjonowania. Duża różnorodność materiałów wykorzystanych w produkcji samochodów powoduje konieczność opracowania systemów gospodarowania elementami samochodów po ich wycofaniu z eksploatacji. W pracy przedstawiono zasady działania recyklingu będącego przykładem sposobu zagospodarowania odpadów w sektorze motoryzacyjnym. Omówiono formy recyklingu, uwzględniając stacje demontażu pojazdów - głównego ogniwa w systemie zagospodarowania odpadów motoryzacyjnych.
Waste generated in each sector of the economy, constitute the arduousness for correct of his functioning. The great diversity of used materials in the automobile production causes the need to develop entire systems of the management of elements of cars after withdrawing them from use. The paper presents the principles of recycling as an example of waste management in the automotive sector. The article discusses the forms of recycling that make up the whole recycling process, including vehicle dismantling stations which are the main link in the system of waste management from the automotive industry.
