    Proces rozpoznawania stanu technicznego maszyn, w wyniku którego wyznacza się optymalny program diagnostyczny, termin i zakres obsługiwania oraz ustala przyczynę wystąpienia stanu w chwili badania maszyny jest niezbędnym warunkiem poprawnego funkcjonowania systemu eksploatacji według stanu. Użytkownik, na podstawie informacji diagnostycznej uzyskuje możliwość utrzymania maszyny w stanie zdatności. Niezbędnym elementem takiego sterowania jest algorytm sterowania, zawierający procedurę wyznaczania, obok terminu i zakresu obsługiwania maszyny oraz genezy stanu, testu diagnostycznego w chwili badania maszyny. Czynione są próby opracowania takich procedur, na podstawie których możliwe byłoby wyznaczanie optymalnego testu diagnostycznego maszyny. Sposoby ich wyznaczania, problemy z tym związane oraz propozycje ich rozwiązania przedstawia się w niniejszym opracowaniu. Opracowanie zawiera metodykę wyznaczania optymalnej procedury diagnozowania. Na podstawie badań zaproponowano niektóre elementy rozwiązania zadania optymalizacyjnego.

The algorithm of steering is indispensable unit of such steering, including the procedures of marking the diagnostic program, deadline and range of service in moment of investigation the machine engine as well as origin of state. Tests of study of such procedures be acted, on the ground which possible the marking the diagnostic optimum program, optimum deadline and range of service of machine engine as well as settlement of causes of pronouncement in moment of investigation of machine state would be. The, prognosis and origin of state of machine engines essential problem of study of diagnosis is both on stage working out her construction, production and exploitation of machine. Study contains the methodology of marking the optimum procedures of machine state recognizing (diagnosis, forecasting, genesisisting). The investigations on the ground were proposed some units of solution of optimization task.

    Opis:
    In earlier designs, the compression-ignition engine units were controlled by means of mechanical elements. They were levers, rods, springs, pawls, cams and others. The quality of such control did not ensure the required repeatability of control parameters in the fuel injection and combustion process. After the introduction of the standards limiting engine emissions of the limited exhaust components, the aforementioned engine control systems were not able to meet the requirements. The mechanical regulation of mechanical systems has been replaced by electronic control systems. It was the development of computer techniques and software that enabled design solutions of control systems for injection and combustion process parameters in engines with sufficient accuracy and repeatability of test results. The modern EDC (Electronic Diesel Control) control system, due to the computing power of microprocessors increased in recent years, enables meeting high requirements of modern Common Rail injection systems. The article presents issues in the area of four thematic levels: the design and modernization of the engine, its operation, diagnostic problems in order to determine reasons of unit failures and bench-top methods for assessing the effectiveness of unit repairs as well as issues concerning alternative fuels.
